[Oleon - FB] Barracks of Breshaun
Stash2Sixx replied to Capn Frank's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Great job Phred!!! I really like how you incorporated the panels, and then totally worked the rest of the building so you can't even tell at quick glance. Big fan of your fence usage for a shelf, you crafty builder you! One question though, I can't figure it out...what are they cookin'? -

Nope, they are actual, real live people. I know them, I work with them, and PMs needed to be sent. I really don't pay attention to post counts too much, as that really doesn't mean a thing.- 780 replies

[COR - FB 3] The Government House at Port Raleigh
Stash2Sixx replied to SkaForHire's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Wild color scheme!!! But the details are solid, the story is good...too bad you're having issues with the locals; figure they would want to trade with everyone? Even though it's a government building, it seems to be necessary. I'll give you the approval! -
I believe we are in the Age of Sail, which according to most of what I have read seems to be about the 1570s to about the 1860s...since we are just starting out, we are probably in the 1570's time period...ish? Give or take 20 years or so.

Yeah, I can mirror a lot of what Sir Stig has said, as I too am starting out with prefab hull sections. You probably did the scariest thing that any shipbuilder has to contend with...designing and crafting a hull from scratch! I like the hull...a lot. Was there a picture you were working from? I just worry that it is a bit too top heavy...but what do I know. I'm trying to build a Virginia sloop myself and am concerned it's too tall in the rear. Good ship, I hope it has an incredibly prosperous journey this month on the run!

[ESL-FB] The Fontonajo Gardens in Nova Terreli

Your extensive storyline continues to build and build. I await the next chapter; keep up the great work! And thanks for the character chart, there were a few too many characters for me at one point. -

I myself wasn't a fan of using the Viking ship ends, but you seem to have pulled it off very well! I can also appreciate how the gold ornamentation was used for the headpiece (terminology?) of the dragon. If yo ufilled out a form, I hope you have a prosperous journey fellow MCTC member! -

In order to keep the bills paid, Atticus Cuervo has been known to take requests from distinguished gentlemen in need of specific commodities. Sometimes, those requests may come from a Commodore in the Oleon Navy who is tired of bureaucratic hindrances and is in need of goods for his men sooner than later. The "Marrazo" has quietly sailed into the capital port of Oleon to make it's delivery. Here we witness the exchange of goods and services for doubloons...a sizeable amount of doubloons at that. Don't let the size of the bag fool you! From here, Atticus Cuervo will head over to the shipyards to find his friend, Apprentice Shipwright Devine. He shall follow up on the status of his forthcoming ship, "El Chupacabra" and pay off the remaining balance with the proceeds from today's business. OOC: I wanted to give an idea of what business was like for the Eslandolans. Everyone thinks it's all friendly, but sometimes, you gotta' be a lil bit covert to get the job done. A hidden meeting in the Oleon Capital, on the docks outside of Warehouse 15, which is most likely a good distance away from all the important events of the day; no doubt there is some funny business going on...but that funny business pays well! But I'm sure this is not the first type of shady deal to occur on these wooden planks. Besides, I wanted a way to work in the name of my "ship" that is being constructed as we speak. C&C is most welcome!!! I joined up as I wanted something to encourage me to build more.

The Empire of Eslandola: Sign-up and Discussion
Stash2Sixx replied to kabel's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Thanks all! It's good to be here! Not just a matter of pride, but we need to keep our goods labeled! My Cuervo cousins should be along shortly... OOC: And if all goes along as planned, I should have my first free build up within the next thirteen hours, as that's how long I have until the first over here.- 780 replies

The Empire of Eslandola: Sign-up and Discussion
Stash2Sixx replied to kabel's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Atticus Cuervo Atticus Cuervo has never been considered a fool. With such a strong and robust family name, he has always looked for a way to make his mark on history. Atticus is the son of business entrepreneur Jack Cuervo, and the grandson of legendary explorer and proprietor Jose Cuervo. Atticus knew he could either sit by and rest on the laurels of his family name…or get out there and make a name for himself! Atticus realized at an early age that what makes the world work was money, power, drive, and character. While on an expedition in the south, Atticus’ father made a deal with members of the Mokolei Empire. He had earned privileged trading rights for his family within the empire, but Atticus stayed, as a condition of the agreement, to learn and observe the cultures of the Empire. For almost six years, Atticus shared his culture, while observing the food, living habits, and culture of a fairly unknown group of people. In exchange, The Cuervo family became one of the leading traders of silk and exotic goods throughout the nations. During his fourth year living abroad, there was an incredible uprising in the Mokolei Empire. The uprising was dealt with, but many loyal Mokolei perished in the turmoil. Understanding the importance of family, the ruling Emperor permitted Atticus to return home and reunite with his family. Atticus declined; he chose to stay and help assist the Empire in any way needed. Although his family was important to him, Atticus knew there was no better way to earn the respect and trust of the Empire than to show his true character. Near the end of year five, Atticus returned home to his family in Eslandola’s capitol, Terreli. With him, he brought many items. What good is a tradesman without his own vessel to trade with? So Atticus returned with the “Marrazo” and his first mate and loyal friend, Jacopo. He was also joined by someone even more loyal than Jacopo, his dog, Zatara. The Emperor secretly rewarded Atticus for all of his information and loyalty. The Emperor kept all of that money hidden away from prying eyes, so the “Marrazo” was filled with enough gold to begin wherever and whatever Atticus wanted to. And of course, he returned with his new bride Jazmyn, who just happened to be a distant relation of the Emperor. Upon returning to the capitol, Atticus learned of the news that his family’s business was in shambles! The employment of untrustworthy fools had led to the pilfering of almost all of the family’s assets and the murder of his father, Jack Cuervo…only 3 months ago! As the oldest grandson of the legendary Jose Cuervo, at 23, Atticus has begun working for the MCTC. He knows his information and past experiences will be invaluable to King Fernando. And by reuniting with his family… There are big plans for the Cuervo family, and they are only just beginning!- 780 replies

So frustrated right now...Punching people square in the face should be encouraged when they act like asshats!

Good to know, thanks for the update. I thought I had missed an episode, but if Ezra's force encounter with his folks was the mid finale, then I'm good. And thanks for that link JB.

Two weeks from release is a fair amount of time. Not everyone can drop everything and run out to see it. Be courteous, be patient...you will survive.

Minions last night, I laughed. I laughed more than I thought I would! But in about five hours, my answer will be Hateful Eight! True Christmas movies??? It ain't Christmas time until I see Hans Gruber falling from Nakatomi Plaza!

Majority of the next wave, which is showing up at TRU and other stores, will not be available in LEGO stores until the new year. And good job with keeping the spoilers locked down all. I appreciate the courtesy members are showing each other!
