Stud shooters create more playability, I think we can all agree on that, in the target market LEGO goes after. They also look goofy, my opinion, and that makes them less realistic...and we know how LEGO feels about weapons. If you have too many stud shooters, I understand. I have way too many black megaphones so I feel your pain. As we are the ones who buy a ton of these figures, either army building or collecting, I always want them to look the best. I'll pick up third party blasters without hesitation. I just sell off my old stud shooters and blasters to pay for them!

This thread has gotten seriously off topic, and I've tried to remain quiet...hoping it would reroute itself. Unfortunately, that is not the case! Plenty of people have stated how messed up this thread has become, that there really is nothing new, and it's filling up with posts about....nothing. And they were right! I have placed a few people on a lil break. I will place more. If your post does not deal with an upcoming rumor of a specific SW 2017 release, then it does not belong in this thread. Asking for pics, complaining about how leaks aren't being released within your timetable, wish lists of what you want to see...these are things that do not belong and have no place in this thread. Excellent point, sorry about that. Let me explain a lil bit better for you all... We get a rumor that seems to be fairly trustworthy. We add it to the first post. If it comes from a member, we will put that member's name in the 'source' spot. If that rumor turns out to be false, we will leave it as a false rumor so everyone can see that this was not true...and I don't have to answer 40 pms asking where it went! It is also a reminder to us that the member who gave us that info wasn't as sure as they thought they were...so next time they being us info, we can be a lil bit more cautious. Now, back to the topic at hand, SW Rumors for 2017 sets!

Look, we don't put things up in the first post unless it has been confirmed! And our sources are pretty good...that being said, anything can happen between anouncement internally and the release of said set, but I think we are pretty good!

All I know for sure...is that the LUGBULK contact person is Kim Thomsen, who was a member of this site. I think it's terrible that you guys are having these problems. Emailing him would probably be your best bet... kim.ellekjaer.thomsen (at) lego.com Drop him a line, he should respond, he is a good guy! Otherwise, if your ambassador is that much of an asshat, drop him, and bring in a new one.

Ok, enough with the shadow games. If you got hosed, and it looks like you did... What LUG's Ambassador was lookin' for extra compensation? Who? Does the rest of the LUG in question know he was doing this? Yes, there are some import fees and items that we (as a LUG) have to cover when shipments come in, but those are documented. We, (my LUG) had paid for our order a few months back as well and we are still waiting to find out where ours is. I believe Kim Thomsen is the LUGBULK coordinator. Your RLUG Ambassador should have his contact info. I'm sorry to hear about this It is really terrible to see that this occurs. Call them/him out, let everyone know. My opinion... To build and display, Slave I. To build and then part out to use for something else...and as long as you use VIP points next month, Sandcrawler or Hoth. Sandcrawler is good, but Slave I looks better. Hoth just had so many useful parts for me, white brick and fleshies... Couldnt see a need to get the TIE. I tried, but after seeing it built, I actually preferred the one from Ep. 7.

Yes, yes they do! I gotta say, after speaking with Scott today at our show, I feel a lot more relaxed about backing this! He brought the switches, which are prototype 3D prints at the moment, and took the time to address our questions and concerns. Scott has back up plans in place should issues arise and he firmly believes in solid communication; he wants us as backers to be fully aware on what is going on. So, pledge. Have your clubs pledge. YES. Yes we are, and you know what, I am fine with this. Of course, a single topic with an index of known thieves/scumbags would be better, but you can bet I'm not going to do that. 37 pages of rumor discussion? Really? Seems like a lot of fluff, wishlists, personal feelings, and conversation that has nothing to do with rumors of upcoming sets in 2017. I'm sure there are some of you that are like "Hey, no big deal!" It is, it really is. Because we all have to keep reading the same questions over and over because information is lost in all of the garbage posts. Looks like the user was at the model shop in Enfield Connecticut, home of the North America LEGO offices. I believe the user is Tim Courtney, who currently works for LEGO, and is affiliated with IDEAS. These are some old pictures as well as the model shop looks way different now. If you can get a hold of him and ask, good luck, but it looks to be a private tour.

1.) No, it has not been officially announced as of yet. 2.) LEGO Brand Retail stores need to have these built, in the store locations, so that they are ready to go out on the first day for sale. 3.) I think the employee you spoke with at Arundell Mills was pulling info out of thin air! This is not yet available to be sold, and as such, should not be out on the sales floor in any capacity. But hey, their mess now, let LEGO deal with it. 4.) If LEGO asks, we may have to remove the pic on the item that does not yet exist officially.

LEGO has asked multiple sites, I would think, to remove the images. So we had them removed/hidden. Although, I can clearly see that Brick show still has them up on their website, but Brothers brick has removed their images. Death Star should not be delayed until 2017, although LEGO has done things like this in the past...case in point UCS Slave I. As far as my sources have told me, Holiday Train and Death Star are the two VIP early releases in September. Now, 2017 set rumor discussion only. The chamber is now open and I'm going to throw every one of you in that fill this thread with garbage that does not belong in here.
