  1. agreed. We need a Lego Shetland pony!
  2. That new butterfly is sweet!
  3. I mean I was just teasing @Roebuck, but I think the Playmobil Wiltopia advent calendar gives us some scant hope ;)
  4. Indeed. To that end, have any of this series showed up in the wild in Europe yet?
  5. Yeah, I can’t honestly make out if it’s a singular headpiece or something more complicated from the blurry image we have. You could well be right
  6. Noticed that the insectoid alien, as well as having an interesting head and possibly neck-piece, seems to have the elytra (hard wing shell) piece that was introduced in the Ladybird/bug CMF. Pretty sure that’s its first reuse.
  7. Maybe NEXT year you’ll get a Lego animal advent calendar 🤣
  8. I hear ya. It does languish beside the new spider and the lobster, but it does have its charms …
  9. So, I very much am not the person to be just down on any CMF series. as I legit think each one brings new things, be they characters, accessories, or minifigure parts, that I value. That said, this one leaves me kinda cold. Hardly anything in the way of new moulds, some very oddly niche characters, and very few parts I’d like to get my hands on. The retro space girl seems cool (moreso if it’s a usable dog accessory) and the insectoid isn’t bad (always a fan of the satyr legs in new colours) - but the rest, so far, ‘meh’.
  10. It’s embarrassing next to the flamingo & toucan 😬
  11. Hoping that the French Bulldog in Space CMF is a useable version, though hard to tell from preliminary image. Space penguin is a big no from me though
  12. Fair. Reptiles are underrrepresented in Lego World, and the parrot needs an upgrade
  13. Like the Capybara idea, think it’s also like sloths in being culturally cute and popular Would also be ideal for further Encanto sets
  14. Where do we think we will be jungling? My money is on South America - new colour and print for jaguar, reuse toucan & monkey, probably the crocagator, and introduce new sloth & parrots. Asia also possible - revisit the tiger (with cubs?) maybe an Asian head for the elephant body, reuse of monkey & snake, and new orangutan or pandas? I think Africa is least likely since they did the whole wildlife rescue theme there.
  15. The giraffe / lion / antelope one is next level The fat cat is by far the best ever Friendsy animal. Though also very taken by the salamander
  16. I think it’s a bit early to speculate
  17. I legit love that the hound groomer has a new cochlear implant hair piece! And that it comes in a reverse version and different colour in the burger van set. Great inclusivity by Lego. Arguably three characters in s25 with recognisable differing abilities: cochlear implant on dog groomer, prosthetic legs on athlete, and plaster/ eye patch on Train kid. 🫶🏼 Oops missed this. I don’t think it’s a render issue - think it’s a deliberate introduction of the cochlear implant piece for either ear at the same time.
  18. It’s odd to me that interchangeable heads aren’t more common in these. Seems like a cheep way to add value and options
  19. With you on this. Fang leaves me cold from what I’ve seen so far. Happy to have another new owl & smowl though!
  20. It’s that time of year again - where I tease @Roebuck with the advent calendar he never gets https://www.instagram.com/p/C0Nf0I9iSfX/?igshid=MzY1NDJmNzMyNQ== I think there was speculation if the flamingo might appear in those sets. It’s the hermit crab that made a surprise return though
  21. I’m pretty sure the red/brown huskies are the same, whilst allowing for the marbling. Trust me, I’m a dog person, and have at least half a husky at home 😜
  22. I think the blue bunny is fine, i think it’s just Lego being more colourful with their variants no represents the sort of ‘blue’ variant you get of animals like cats, dogs and rabbits
  23. Lol. Yes. I make no apologies
