Yes thanks - I’m aware. However that’s not how most people buy lego. What I meant was that it’s more accessible to more people to put animals in less pricey sets. Especially when discounted: that farm set was much more economical that way!

My hope now is that they are specifically loading the summer sets with animals, making ‘more animals’ more accessible to buyers than just huge exclusive sets.

Understatement! Looks like there’s been an outbreak of bird flu and foot & mouth disease at the same time. I’m goatted.

What’s also weird is that none of the new foliage pieces seem to feature - not the ferns or the new ‘big’ leaf piece … -

There is a smoother white ‘fur’ collar that used to be used in the Batman penguin figures, but seems to have been forgotten in favour of the rougher one

Would it though? Won’t it count as a licensed piece and not be available?

Overdue for another bird, I think. I’d say peacock 🦚 -

I mean, I think you could juuuuust about squeak it with the three Cratchetts, Scrooge, Gonzo & Rizzo … but I’m not sure how good 18 side builds would be. Deffo think it’d work best as a CMF or a spefcific set. I’m all about Touché Turtle, Pixie & Dixie and the Hair Bear Bunch 🤣 Yeah - not that Lego takes any notice of the need to ever complete a line up, of course! Scooter, Sam, Rizzo, Pepe, Lew Zealand, Zoot, Dr Teeth & Floyd could be the basis for a second ‘normal’ series, reusing other main characters as variants. We can dream. -

This is the correct prioritisation I see your logic, I guess I’m thinking more about completeness as we only get one shot with the characters. Personally I’d also like a skate party penguin, and the no-cheeses-for-us-meeses mouse 😂 -

Well - we could do with accurate Robin & Cyborg, plus the regular villain roster of the HIVE five, plus Trigon. Oh, and obvs we need Silkie and the various sidekicks -

My take would be 1. Scrooge 2. Kermit as Bob Cratchitt 3. Robin as Tiny Tim 4. Miss Piggy as Mrs Cratchitt 5. Gonzo as Dickens 6. Rizzo as the rat, not the lamp! 7. Fozzie as Fozziwig 8. Sam as headmaster 9. Bean bunny as urchin and then all three ghosts: 10. Past 11. Present 12. Future -

Yes. Heck they could even do it as a Muppet Christmas Carol series -

I LOVE Teen Titans Go! I have the already-released Lego figures & would be happy to see more. Also love the idea of some classic Hanna Barbera characters - though I would prefer these to have moulded heads like Muppets & Looney Tunes, as oppose to how the Flinstsones were realised in minifigure form. Yes please to Lego Yogi, Top Cat & Snagglepuss! -
Looks like the new white bulldog coming this year is just a collar recolour given the gold tooth - from red (in set 60246) to teal (in set 60417)

I try not to get my hopes up. The other side could be cyborg for what it’s worth - the French Bulldog getting 5 colours and ‘normal’ variants would make it at least top equal with the standard shepherd, which comes in two dark nougat versions, one dark orange, one white (Dalmatian) and one or two black (the Grim <which I would count> and the Celestial dog <which I would not count>) … so arguably 5 versions over 4 colours

Shame the squirrel isn’t a recolour - but yay for another dog. That’s the first dog in dark tan, I think, and it makes the fourth recolour of the French Bulldog (and pretty sure there’s another in the Space CMF series, but who knows how it’s printed 🤖👽).

‘Jungle’ set wise, it now seems clear they are going for different locations, given the named species. To that end, it makes sense to me that they would visit all three main jungle areas, and given we have a new mould for Asia (red panda), new moulds for Africa (gorillas), I think we might speculate there will also be a specifically South American one. Given that we know the tiger and croc return, I’d guess that if they go for something specific that it will be either a capybara (also showing up in Disney set), or a sloth (already in Friends sets), both of those are very popular and well-known animals. Another possibility is an updated macaw parrot, I wouldn’t *hate* it if they recoloured the falcon mould for a parrot, but these days I expect more! I did think that, using existing moulds, they could look at something very specific like a set with a small area of beach/trees, recoloured big cat jaguar, and reusing toucan and turtle. Now I think that South America deserves new mould love too. Also I am really hoping that we get a few recolours of some existing creatures, especially the birds like flamingo (coral please please please) and toucan. It will be interesting to see how they spread the animals between sets, and for sure we know that they are not going to do location-based sets and then mix up the species in each set - so we won’t get gorillas AND tigers in one set, for example. Damn I need the pictures. 🥵

How is it that the olive green frog looks like a dog poo, when I’ve never thought of the brown one that way?
