  1. Here's the Studio file for anyone who wants to mod or rebrick it and just buy the classic minifigures from BL instead of wasting 250€. I get that the designer wanted to stay faithful to the original set, but then I see weird things like splitting up the fireplace and smoke guard - very unsightly - in half, a pretty bad part usage and using different colors than original (e.g. brown clips). 40601.io
  2. The scroll is just a sticker on a 2x2 tile and the interior looks just as bad as the original set. The second floor is completely empty.
  3. Great remake. But I would take out the white plate row to make the tanks more spherical.
  4. Oh right, sorry, please move it to "Future Set Wishes and Speculation" topic and delete this comment.
  5. Just a speculation from my side, but what if TLG introduced a new Reddish Orange color for 2024 specifically to match a specific car manufacturer paint color? Maybe next year's 1:8 Technic hypercar will be a McLaren 750S or Artura.
  6. CaDA could have at least split the stickers like we see in Speed Champions sets. The Monte Carlo version would have been my prefered design as well. A "Red Bull" color scheme without the main sponsor(s) makes zero sense. What I meant is that it's a little inconsistent when a set is considered Masters Series and when not. Is it just the packaging or a name similar to "Icons" for more challenging builds?
  7. Good work @brickphisto ! But I'm not a fan of stickers covering multiple pieces. I wonder why this model does not run under the Master theme and has the same box design as the Arctic Wildcat RC ATV.
  8. Winter Market Stall (GWP) Set number: 40602 Nr. of pieces: 271 Nr. of minifigures: 2 Price: free with all purchases from €170 in LEGO Shop/Store Period #1: November 18 to 19, 2023 Period #2: November 24 to 27, 2023
  9. Amazing bodywork! Please talk to CaDA and make it available for everyone.
  10. Yep, sadly just stickers.
  11. They definitely nailed this combo. Not on par with Ninjago City, but pretty close, especially with all the Easter eggs and references to older MK sets.
  12. Green. Says so in the IG comments too. Also confirmed by Bricks By Mind's hands-on presentation video:
  13. Green helmet is confirmed: https://www.instagram.com/p/CzS8Tuopl7i/
  14. So now I have to buy 80044 too?! My one and only MK set is City of Lanterns. It's "5th year" not "5 year" anniversary. 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024... so 5th wave of sets.
  15. Not just LL03, but LL02 and LL01 as well. Could be prints if reused in a 2024 Classic Space set. The trans yellow windows certainly suggest that.
  16. Yey! Another Technic space set. Since there is no NASA in the name of 42182 I assume it will not be licensed, similar to Perseverance Rover. I also don't think it will have new custom wheels, but for 250$ probably C+ again. @Ngoc Nguyen Can you update the front page listing with this set please?
  17. I just stumbled on this awesome MOC. It's a perfect reimagining and shows that you CAN make a small build with plenty interior space without the use of BURP's. Too bad LEGO never heard of Reddit. :(
  18. Something like this. 338/365 pcs. Interior taken from 6048. Unlike the old set here the roofs have balcony 2 wide openings (skylights).
  19. After little over 30 min. almost done and already 220 pieces spent without any interior whatsoever. This is a very basic and simple model with a boring symmetrical build. The jumper plate with the keyhole tile is the only part holding the two halves from hinging open.
  20. Not sure how to feel about the GWP. Same plain Majisto without torso print or glow-in-the-dark wand is a big let down, considering we got a wizard with full printing, dual moulded hat etc. in the BaM tower. The female Dragon Knight will upset again a lot of people. A dragon shield would have been so cool and together with the one from the upcoming Bat Lord the perfect addition to the classic castle remake. P.S. I see two Castle Turret Top 4 x 8 x 2 1/3 in dbg, which were last time seen in 2006 in that color. P.P.S. This is how I imagined a remake would be done:
  21. Too bad they can't re-use this canceled Vidiyo piece for a Brachiosaurus, because a costume figure would need space for a head and have a cut-out of course. Wonder what happened to these figure elements and why they don't bring them out as CMF's. Surely they got to finish manufacturing the molds. P.S. I don't even want to know what scalpers will do to the Goatherds seeing the resell value for Moon Knight, Falcon Archer, Viking Warrior, etc.
  22. I watched an influencer video yesterday on his Venice-Simplon OE train ride. Now I wished this was a no-name train set with just a cool locomotive instead. Funding one greedy luxury brand - called LEGO - is enough of a sin already.
  23. Too bad that new dark red Santa will not come with a Coca-Cola backprint or a printed 1x1 round brick. Also the beard needs to be way longer.
  24. After some research on the real size of the crocodile and the OE, the LEGO crocodile locomotive does look pretty good in scale to the OE wagons in terms of height, but the length is no good measure. The croc is 19.5 m (which puts the LEGO model at 1:43) and an OE sleeper wagon is about 23m (but the LEGO ones are only 50 studs long, so about 14cm too short). I also found this color picture from '87 which is showing a croc pulling the OE: P.S.
