  1. Update on the model since better images were revealed. I even got the part count of 503 right. Probably 97% accurate. 42167.io
  2. High res images available on lego.com, so I corrected the model. Now the whole rear suspension makes sense with the 7-3 bent beams adding to the rigidity. All 219 parts accounted for. :D 42164.io
  3. Just marketing. It's not the first time Space is featured in Duplo. They just put the same box art across all themes. Of course Duplo won't be compatible with Technic and won't include the octogonal frame piece.
  4. No, that wouldn't make sense since black is with friction ridges. I guess it's just two 4L axles held with a 3L axle connector. But that would mean the 3x19 frame would shift towards the front and interfere with the steering. Strange... In conclusion there is no 3x19 frame included. Just two 13L flip-flop beams. Something like this:
  5. Thanks. This one was pretty easy since not many details were hidden. And good tip about the independent doors. Deleted the 3L axle connector. And yes, they are hinged on friction pins.
  6. Finished the whole model! The only thing I'm unsure about is if the steering works with a pin in the middle of the black steering beam like I did or not. Maybe someone can verify it irl. Never mind, the back of the box shows it. 42164.io
  7. Lol, someone messed up the photoshoping trying to recolor a red 3L pin with axle in the front to blue just because the left side looks messier than the other. Pretty lame if even LEGO is bothered by colorful pins.
  8. See the link in my first post. And no, it's not done. Just the bits I could reverse engineer from the images.
  9. Made some more progress on the Mack. It contains an unusually high amount of System pieces for such a small Technic set. And no wonder only a 1x1 round tiles are included as waste. The opening is fairly small.
  10. Feel free to use the Studio file I provided on the first page. I kept updating it. I kinda reached an impasse with too many hidden parts in the available images.
  11. Maybe the B-models had to be scraped because Dreamzzz sets are 2-in-1 now lol. There is only room for a certain amount of B-models each year (*extrapolation from part availability philosophy, the root square of nr. of LEGO Designers and shrinkflation effect).
  12. I buy too many sets now to build every official alternative model, but in recent years I have bought a second copy of a Technic set just to build both the A and B-models. For the older sets I have built alternative models in my childhood, especially from the universal sets that had 5 or 6 alternatives.
  13. Since we are not talking about a motorized set it's safe to say it works just as good, if not better, with the clutch gears for manually pushing the tracks around. You are right about gear contact pattern and it should not be used under heavy load.
  14. It's obvious. Also 7L Flip-flop Beam is new in white.
  15. Here is the main bodywork and the garbage can clamping function: 42167.io
  16. Thanks for testing and confirming that, my fellow brickshelf user. :)
  17. The only reason they used the 49.5 mm truck tires is because the small tractor tires are 56 mm in diameter and wouldn't fit. Still we are talking about 2mm radial clearance that could have been achieved by different mudguards e.g. panels (not using thick, ugly beams).
  18. While the windscreen in green as a mudguard is clever i suspect the System pieces will fall off easily.
  19. Good job. There are more high res. pictures on brickmerge. But there is nothing else going on on the bottom. I'm only missing 3 parts (probably pins).
  20. Did you buy this set or re-brick it based on my model?
  21. Corn header completed. Just a bunch of gears lined up. This thing won't even touch the floor thanks to that thick 1x5 liftarm in the middle. 42168.io
