Technologies tree and Personal Skills Personal Equipement Each player can use it's credits to buy Personal Equipements. These items offer various bonuses when a player post a build (outside of challenges). See the Personal Equipements' list. Personnal Equipement effects do not cascade. for example if you own a Water extractor and a Bag of fertilizer, when earning biomass, the Water extractor will produce water, but that water do not trigger the Bag of fertilizer. If you want to buy a Personal Equipement, post a request with the name of the item in your corporation discussion thread, and make sure you have enough credits! Technologies tree A corporation can use its resources to advance in a Technology Tree. Some of the technologies will give bonuses to all that corporation's members. To research a technology, the CEO of a corporation has to post which technology he wants to research in it's corporation discussion thread, and one of the corporation's members has to do a build representing that technology. See the dynamic technologies tree for more informations

Introduction and discussion The Andromeda Discovery While official records are still scarce, the Andromeda discovery became one of our most important since the begining of space exploration. While approaching a planetary orbit during a mapping expedition of the Andromeda Galaxy, the ship was caught up in a strange gravitational anomaly. Records from the initial expedition were mostly lost, save that when the crew awoke, they found themselves in a different part of the galaxy. A second anomaly was located close to their new location, and when approached their craft was drawn in again, returning them to their original location. When word of this new discovery reached the Galactic Command Council, the Council commissioned a number of privateers to explore this strange new phenomenon, and it wasn’t long before a number of similar anomalies were discovered. Many early ships were lost mapping these strange gravitational anomalies, until minifig scientists discovered the ‘GATE’ system. The Gravitational Anomaly Transport Engine became a core component to allow ships travelling through Andromeda galaxy to use the anomalies safely. The Gate system allowed ships to successfully match the fluctuating speeds and coordinates needed to navigate through them. The vast reduction in transport times made Andromeda’s planetary systems prime candidates for massive scale resource exploitation. With the new GATE system tested and working, corporations were quick to retrofit these systems to their own ships, and a second resource race began. And if many corporations wanted to exploit Andromeda, only three of them had what it takes in resources and manpower to succeed in such a large expedition. In early AD 3815, they reached Andromeda and each settled in on a different planet. To survive in this new environment, they have the absolute need of water. Luckily water is present in diverse forms in Andromeda's systems. Biomass is another key element as it provides nutrients but also research materials. And lots of metals will be needed to expand each corporation's domination over the system, and also make profits! The Corporations Octan Corporation Kawashita Group M.A.N.T.I.S. Specialized in everything, Octan Corp is the leading company in providing minifigs with everything they need. From the outside, the company presents a smiling face. But is it the same face it shows to its competitors? Learn more on Octan Corporation An ancient company, big and powerful but clouded in mysteries... Specialized in advanced technologies, Kawashita surpass everyone in terms of robotics and genetics. Lots of secret projects wait to be revealed... Learn more on Kawashita Group After throwing away its violent and criminal past, the organization known as M.A.N.T.I.S. succesfully developed its activities, becoming one of the most legitimate and successful companies... But is it really true? Learn more on M.A.N.T.I.S. Goal of the game The main goal for the corporations is to harvest the maximum of the 3 resources: Water: Highly needed for the survival of humanity Awesomnium: A precious metal that is used in spaceship's construction Biomass: All sort of biological stuff to nourish employees and that scientists will study By building on a planet, a player's corporation will receive resources and Domination points. A corporation with 30 Domination points more than the other corporations will gain control of that planet, expanding its control area and the number of planets available for building. Resources can be used by corporations to progress on a tech tree that gives bonuses to its players. Top level technologies will require some rare resources that can only be found on one planet of the galaxy, or that can be rewarded by challenges: Gold: A valuable metal with many applications in technology and science Copper: An ancient metal which all stocks of were lost a long time ago Mithril: The hardest metal ever found By building, players will also receive Credits, that can be used to buy Personal Equipment. These items provide bonuses directly to a player who owns them. Link to the dynamic map

FAQ General Q: Isn't this a rip-off of Shadow over Nar Eurbrikka, which is a rip-off of Guilds of Historica? A: Well... No... Absolutely not . Character Q: Yellow or flesh minifigs' head? A: It's a matter of personal preference. You can use whichever you like. Q: Does my sig fig have to appear in all my builds? A: Your build must be related to your character's roleplaying progression. There might be some situations where it doesn't make sense for your sigfig to physically appear, such as in a miniature, or communicating with other minifigs over hologram or comlink, etc., but it must be clear that your character has some part in the action taking place in the build. Q: I choose pilot as a job, do I have to always build spaceships? A: No, you can build whatever you want, but if you build a spaceship, you'll earn bonus credits, and if you build something else you won't earn the bonus. Q: How can I get a shiny signature picture to show everyone I'm part of the game? A: Look for your character in the Planets and Players index, there is a "Sigfig" link that will open your automatically generated signature picture. Copy the link to that picture, go to your profile page, edit your signature and add the signature picture using the "Image" button. Builds Q: Can I post a digital MOC? A: Digital MOCs are allowed, but specific challenge could says otherwise. You'll have to check rules of each challenges. in any case, digital MOCs should be buildable with real bricks. No floating pieces, no unavailable combination of parts and colors. Q: What is considered a piracy act? A: A build can be considered a piracy act if it depicts your sigfig stealing resources or equipements from any other corporation. Q: What is considered a spying act? A: A build can be considered a spying act if it depicts your sigfig gathering intels, hacking computers or sabotaging any other corporation equipement. Q: What is considered an exploration? A: A build can be considered an exploration if it depicts your sigfig exploring an environment, dealing with plants or animals, or making contact with alien races. Agressive builds (ie: military builds) won't be considered as explorations. Q: On which planets can I build? A: You can build on any planet controlled by your corporation and the planets linked to these. If you want to build for the Alien civilizations, then every planets are available. Challenges Q: Do I have to participate in every challenge? A: No. We know everyone has other responsibilities and commitments as well, both on and off of EB.

Thanks all The contest is held on the Starfighter group on Flickr

My reason is that's a completely different problem than sets line revival or exclusive sets availability. If you want to give TLG feedbacks on which sets people wants to play with, discussing TLG's partnerships just blur the message.

I don't think that "Lego should cut ties with Shell" has it's place here.

Really like the animals, the fox especially! If I can make one remark, it lacks one or two fish jumping over the falls

SBrick makes your trains smarter - Kickstarter
Bob De Quatre replied to pasztorl's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Is there any plans for a smaller SBrick, with only 2 ports, so that's it's easier to put inside smaller models, or models with limited width like trains? I understand that it's not easy to implement as it would require the software to make a distinction between each size of SBricks. -
Built for the 14x14x6 small starfighter contest.

It's difficult to take a picture of it, but there's just a small corner of each eyes that overhang. Something like 0,25 stud each. Thanks Cecilie
