  1. I like it as it is. Maybe replacethe area on both sides of the 1x3 curved slope and the 1x4 double curved slope with greebles... Ok, since the the SW forum doesn't have a WIP thread (and because I always tought it could have belonged to the Sci-fi forum), I post the last WIP picture of the Zenith: Power Rangers! ASSEMBLE !! *cough* by BobDeQuatre, on Flickr Maybe I could display it like that, at least the front looks great Now I need advice on how to photograph something that big... I think I should start by buying a real camera...
  2. You're right! Where is my medal?!?!
  3. Well I'm not sure if you're safe in there I really like it. The door is very well made, and there are lots of details in such a small space. When I first saw the first picture, I tought there was a shelf with troopers helmet on it
  4. Beorn looks great with the orc armor! But I'm a little disapointed that he isn't larger that a standard minifigure, but this was expected.
  5. Nice review as always. Making me want this set as there are some interesting parts in it, and nice minifigures. I was going to explain it, but tought it would spoiled the film...
  6. My mom ordered it for me as a christmas present... can't wait to read it
  7. I understand what you say, and it's something that was discussed before the launch of Ep. 2. We think that it's nice to have some episode that are not just a straightforward building contest. For that one, we knew not all people could participate, but to make things easier, I selected only sets that are still in stores, I provided a list of all the bricks, allowed LDD creation and provided a custom palette with only the bricks allowed. We know some people won't be able to enter every episode due to specific rules, and we accept that fact. If you can't enter an episode, it may be a good time to do freebuilds
  8. Thanks. It's fun to write short story for a MOC. That way I can explain why I build so absurdly and odd shapes Thanks, I like them too
  9. Thanks! I tried different rendering style, but when this one came out, I knew it was the right one!
  10. "They descended from the skies above... to exterminate us all..." War angel by BobDeQuatre, on Flickr War angel by BobDeQuatre, on Flickr Again a quick build to distract me of the tedious build of the Zenith. I think I could have done better with the rear. The arms don't have the best joints, but I wanted to keep them thin. And obviously I did my "photoshop magic" like Lobot said... But I'm not the magician I used to be anymore...
  11. Too bad I missed it this year... Good luck everyone! This time I won't be part of the 165 EB members that will wait with anxiety every morning The prizes are awesome. by the way. Thanks EB staff for organizing that wonderfull event
  12. Maybe that's because I have bad taste
  13. I really like that column! Well done!
  14. The design is simple, but looks very good, even the lazy engine
  15. Looks very nice, despite the lack of "Fabz touch"
  16. That mustache is awesome!! Great viper And the squad is amazing
  17. I asked about judging Ep2 and the start of Ep3. I'll let you know when I have more informations.
  18. I wish I could, but not all of the parts are available in these colors... The earliers version might be buildable, depending on the colorscheme (tried a tan / dark tan once, it was really nice): Fighters... by BobDeQuatre, on Flickr
  19. It's nice, but it doesn't feel very strong as it's quite thin
  20. Maybe I seriously need to bring Lego at work ...
  21. Orange and white looks great together. With those engines, it feels like something between a plane and a "classic" viper.
  22. Awesome rendition of "movie" Erebor!! There are so much details and all... Great job!
  23. Wow I wasn't expecting this The "closed eye technique" is great
