It's possible that addition was trivial enough for the Tolkien Estate to ignore it; I doubt they'd get frustrated over that small a detail.

Yeah, I certainly wouldn't want to challenge him to a game of poker; I can pretty much guarantee though a few years down the line from now he'll end up restructuring his contract to free up cap space like Drew Brees and Brady have just done. Plus without Ray Lewis Baltimore has a much lesser chance of making it back to the Super Bowl next year.

I think so, and apparently it's also the big contract in NFL history; the latter fact is my biggest problem with this. If there's ever such a thing as prof. sports extortion this is probably the epitome of it.

I'm in London, ON and the closest one says it'll open in March-Aprilish so hopefully we won't have to wait for long. Still debating whether I wanna spend the extra money on this or not; the minifigure itself doesn't highly appeal to me. -
On a smaller scale I've heard 76004 Spider-Man Spider-Cycle Chase is fun and has a pretty decent price-to-piece ratio too. If you're still looking for larger sets you could also take a look at the LOTR/Hobbit sets..

For Aragorn to take back the keys of Orthanc, yes. Other than that the scene basically has no relevance or importance.

In that case I'd go with Jabba's Palace for now. It is technically the main attraction, so to speak; plus the Rancor Pit is a whiles cheaper so it should take less time to save up for if you do decide to get Palace first.

Hmm...in that case, I suggest you should take a look at 76001 The Bat vs. Bane: Tumbler Chase. Looks like a pretty good set for $40, and then you can spread your budget through whatever else you want. The new Star Wars line is good too so maybe look into that?

They weren't, not even in the Extended Edition. I can only see them released in a down-sized Minas Tirith White Tower set which could still be very unlikely.

Would you prefer to get larger sets or a few more smaller sets? There are a lot of options you can choose from for the themes you specified.

I'm probably hugely outspoken on this but I think Spider-Man 2 was the probably the best out of all the films. Other than the fact the story and the villains were far superior than in ASM I sort of prefer Tobey Maguire to Garfield. The movies are probably too different to compare them directly but still.

In this case, I'd go with the 60002 even though they're both good sets; it has a slightly better price-to-piece ratio, plus the fire track has a couple more cooler functions than the Tanker Truck and two excellent firefighter minifigs.

Well there is the additional perk of getting Blu-Ray and Ultraviolet versions too, even though most people (including myself) would probably be satisfied with just DVD. You're right though, I don't think I'll be throwing down that much money if it was for the exclusive fig.
