My order would be, and I'm gonna preface my comments by first saying I'm hugely biased as a Captain America fan which is why I'm ranking it above Iron Man 2 and The Incredible Hulk: 1. Avengers (obviously). 2. Iron Man 3. Thor 4. Captain America 5. Iron Man 2 6. Hulk

So for the somewhat distant future I've got 50-60 bucks CDN (so about 40 bucks US in terms of sets) to spend on Lego; are any of the larger Star Wars sets or maybe some City ones worth getting?

It certainly wasn't a superhero movie; the realism that Christopher Nolan achieved kind of speaks to that. I think it's more of an upside from that perspective though, which was something I thought the Burton/Schumacher series seriously lacked.

1. I dunno if TLG has a set budget each year for each specific theme but maybe it's cause they devoted more time and designers to Chima's pilot wave? Just my guess on that. 2. More playability for kids, I assume. Paths of the Dead would be a bunch of minifigures, the three dudes, and some glow-in-the-dark buildings. 3. No opinion on that.

Physically he was sort of the along of the lines of what I had thought; the personality was just what got to me.

To tell you the truth, guys, I think I would've enjoyed An Unexpected Journey on a much higher level had it not been for the asinine behaviour of the Misty Mountain goblins, or if they had been as menacing as Azog's group or the LOTR orcs we've seen in the past. Just watching the ridiculousness of the Goblin King's speech and the way he died ("Yep; that would do it") gave me a minor headache (I'm probably exaggerating here but still). Then again this was probably aimed towards a lower age group audience and was obviously intended to be a lot lighter and comedic so I can't completely blame Jackson for that.

I beg to differ, he was probably the worst thing about the movie.

Probably a bunch of remakes of old stuff like the more recent waves (Desert Skiff, Jabba's Palace, Republic Gunship, etc.) I think the designers will be able to come up with enough ideas until 2015 when Episode 7, or they could delve more into the Expanded Universe. I'd personally prefer the latter since they'd be coming up with more original sets.

Warrior (2011); probably one of it not Tom Hardy's best movie so far, because his career is going nowhere but up. EDIT: Sorry, messed up the title.

Well we've basically exhausted all convos about the June wave, Orthanc, etc. so I'm not too surprised.

Hmm. Well in that case maybe wait a couple months for more news on the Calendar to come out before making a decision? I'm sure the other sets will still be on the shelves by then or longer.
