Yokai is exclusive to the Morro Dragon. Ming and Cyrus are exclusive to City of Stiix. Bansha and Ghoultar, the ghosts included in the Titan Mech Battle, cannot be found in either of the aforementioned sets. Nope. It's a basic blue gem.

Did you show them their own website? Do that when you go back, and if you aren't successful... REPORT THEM! Even ask them for the number of their district manager. If you ask calmly, you have effectively threatened them of their job, which, due to this kind of service is very well justified. They might just give in. If they don't, call the hotline in the link I gave you and ask for the number of the district manager for your store. Then kindly lay down the law.

Well...if they ever become relevant again (and I mean really relevant, like Ronin relevant), I can see Lego doing them. The fact that they didn't make Neuro or Shade as official minifigures was a missed opportunity. Not that the other masters would be an issue, although I think Jacob would be a hard selling point as he kinda... sticks out like a sore thumb.

All it is is the German(?) Trailer for the spinners. That was revealed a page or so back. The TV show is discussed in this thread. The Ninjago 2015 thread is for the sets only. Also, you aren't aloud to advertise your YouTube channels here, assuming that this channel you keep posting videos from is your own.

Show them the Toys R Us Website where it clearly says available now. Better yet, have them look it up themselves. If they say they still can't get them, talk to the manager. If the manager is the one telling you no, report them to corporate.

Ultra Agents City Space/Divers Juniors Duplo Star Wars Chima Creator The June release for this Summer in the US

I saw all of the June sets at my local Lego Store. I talked with one of the employees, and they out of the blue mentioned that the Airjitzu sets come out July 1st. It certainly would be interesting if they showed up before the rest of the wave.

Final Flight of the Destiny's Bounty. And the Nya nay sayers have been put to rest, if there was any left that is. I was getting that vibe too. Taking a better look at the box art, the City of Stiix seems to be extremely relevant to this season. I think this might be the first set I'll grab. It has a little bit of everything. Where'd you get the new images from?

It will probably be around the lines where the Dr. Who, Portal, Wizard of Oz, and Back to the Future Packs will be hard to find until supply meets demand. Other themes in Dimensions will simply be available at all times simply due to the fact that demand isn't astronomical for those character (calling it now, Chima will be shelf warmers). My thoughts on how demand will effect stock: Common: Ninjago, Legends of Chima, DC (depends on the character), Lego Movie (depends on the character) Uncommon: DC (depends on the character), Lord of the Rings, Simpsons, Lego Movie (depends on the character) Rare: Dr. Who, Portal, Wizard of Oz, Back to the Future

Well... there was some rumor about them needing to find "Ninja Scrolls?" I mean technically scrolls are rolls of paper.
-
The description says Kai, Jay, Nya, Evil Lloyd, Wrayth, Ghoultar, Cyrus, and Ming. I will say though, the other ninja beside Kai look like Cole instead of Jay in the image, but that could just be because of the quality.

I wasn't going to say it to avoid being lashed by speculative hopefuls, but City of Stiix is clearly another $120 flagship set. Sure, it's an exclusive, but it's still a flagship set (and now pun intended, either ) I keep looking at it, and I'm slowly starting to consider getting it before the Bounty simply because it's a building.
-
Speaking of the Airjitzu sets, Lego's Facebook page just teased them... I think a release might be a bit sooner than we think (in the US)! That Exclusive set looks fantastic! I think it's really interesting how it Toys R Us is getting exclusive sets for multiple themes all in the $100 range. City of Stiixs has a really awesome and spooky look to it. The dilapidated design is phenomenal. Also, that clearly isn't the Destiny's Bounty or any variation of it. It's a ghost ship. What Ghost Army could possibly go without one! But hey, now we know what that building is in the background of some of the boxarts for the Summer wave.

Who is your favorite Ninjago villain?
PenPlays replied to Master_Data's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
LOL They weren't a threat... That game was such a joke. Besides, it looks like Ronin's allegiance might be with the Ninja next time around. Favorite Ninjago Army: The Stone Army. Why? They are the only group that only consists of cunning soldiers that regardless who was leading them, was an actual force to be reckoned with. The same could be said of the Nindroids, but they are more of a hivemind than an actual group of individual soldiers. Favorite Ninjago Villain: Pythor is the most well written (after Garmadon). His cunning as well has his deceptive nature (giving yourself a fake, yet friendly last name to manipulate a naive child. That's pretty dark) and Michael Dobson's voice work on the character make him an absolute joy on screen, regardless of size, color, or circumstance. -
What is your favorite Ninjago character variant?
PenPlays replied to Master_Data's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Favorite Gi variant: Kimono. It has a certain elegance to it that only the Techno Gi has come close to conquering. Each of the Ninja's main elemental color blended so well with the black, it was almost criminal. The Deepstone armor is a bit too black in my opinion. I have to get them in my hands before I decide. Favorite Nya Variant: 2014's Samurai X felt like the best of both sides of Nya. It was a Samurai X suit of armor styled in an ornate fashion like her original kimono from 2011. With the darker tones and chain mail designs, this one takes the cake. I have to see her Ninja Gi in hand though. I feel my opinion will probably change. Favorite Wu variant: So wait. This one is coming in a new book right? Anyway. I've always loved the traditional style Kimonos for Wu. I felt like he strayed from that with the black Kimono from 2011 all the way to 2014's Evil Wu (although that was probably against his will). This is his return to the basics and I feel it is quite triumphant. I'm also quite happy to finally have gold accents to go along with that gold straw hat he got in 2012. -
It has been a long while since the last post I made above! In this past month or so. We found out some of the following things: -Nintendo @ E3 -There will be at least 3 brand new never before seen games announced (Best Buy just received 3 "Nintendo E3 Dummy" SKUs. 2 3DS Games, and 1 Wii U game) -Splatoon is Nintendo's newest hit thanks to a limited time demo called "Splatoon Rapid Fire!" It returns this weekend on Saturday from 3pm-4pm Pacific Time, just before the game launches over the following weekend! -Amiibo are finally being restocked. Marth, Ike, King Dedede, Meta Knight (Best Buy only), and Lucario (Toys R Us only) will once again see the light of day on or around May 29th alongside the Smash Wave 4, Splatoon, and... -... the recently announced Silver Mario Amiibo! And get this, it will be available at ALL retailers (in the US). This is apparently the only shipment of Silver Mario that any and all stores shall receive...ever. -Gamestop has already restocked Marth and Ike. They had no street date and will not be receiving more for a very... very long time. -Shulk (restock that had preorders only) has been delayed until early June -Nintendo signed a deal with Universal Studios to make theme park attractions! Discuss! EDIT: The Amiibo Availability Guide has been updated

I'm not much of a regular to these parts of Eurobricks, but I'm curious if you all have seen the price for the new Spaceport. It has only 586 pieces in it... but I found it at Toys R Us today for $119.99! Toys R Us, at least in my area, does not mark up the City sets they carry, which means that that price is the real deal. It certainly was something that caught my eye. Surprising to say the least.

For the record. None of these sets glow in the dark. Only (apparently) the wings on the Morrow Dragon. The green color on the ghost warrior's sets Spring Yellowish Green and it does not have any glowing properties. If I remember correctly, the translucent parts on the minifigs should glow under blacklight, right? (correct me if I'm wrong) It's Hackler from the Master Wu Dragon set And here is: Airjitzu Cole Airjitzu Zane Airjitzu Kai, Wrayth, and Morro

Whoops! Ignore.

Sorry... Getting a better look at all of these weapons, you can really see all of the love that went into them. Did anyone notice that you can store the Katanas on the sides of the spinner handle?
-
Well now that they know the game is successful, and probably will continue to be so... If only they went this route with Lego Universe. May it RIP.

Fred Meyer's had Series 5. The box is a mint green color. I'm gonna buy them at the Lego Store with my VIP points once their out, though. They look fantastic!

Post about Cartoons and Anime you like
PenPlays replied to Peppermint_M's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I have an issue with Darker than Black. They try really hard to build up a mysterious story with worthwhile characters, but they go so long without explaining literally anything having to with why any of these things that happened (except mentioning that they did, but nothing much beyond that). I found this anime, for all that it was hyped up to be was a grave disappointment storywise. What backstory they did give was quickly resolved with minimal effect on the series. It didn't help that most of the main cast is quite literally emotionless. I also have a bit of an issue with Death Note regarding a certain characters fate being sealed far too early in the series, and then literally being replaced in the remaining 10+ episodes of the series by a wannabe. I recapped the story through wikipedia and found out that after that certain character passes, I didn't miss much. Anything before that major turning point in the series is an edge-of-your-seat thrill ride. I loved it up until that point. -
They'll be out in the US this June. These aren't what sets could be released, these are official images of product that will be released later this year.

Yes they will charge that much, as the cost for the NFC dimension pad is expensive. Also keep in mind that most Toys-2-life figures are in the $15 price range. Two packs nearly double that, and packs that contain harder to find characters as well as exclusive DLC run nearly another $40. Currently Nintendo is the only one who goes above and beyond the value of an Amiibo ($13) to provide content, as nearly every Amiibo that has been manufactured is compatible with nearly every first party game that has been released on Wii U since Hyrule Warriors. You also only need one version of each character. You only need to spend the $13 once for all access to that Amiibo character's bonuses/DLC. For example, there are now 4 different Mario Amiibo. They all contain the same NFC chip, so content-wise, if you have one, you have them all. Most companies can't do anything similar, but say if Lego were to make a second "Dimensions" down the road, they'd be pretty stupid not to make the first Dimensions figures backwards-compatible.
