As an Amiibo collector that absolutely loves the concept, this is like a gift from God.

Ever since the horrific debacle that was Smash Amiibo Wave 3, I've resorted purely to preorders for the future on Amiibo that I sorely desire. With the Super Mario Bros. series that wasn't the case, so here I am, 3 minutes from heading to the local Toys R Us... for Toad. EDIT: Ermahgersh! He's so CUTE!! I love him. I got Bowser too. Funny story... So I thought that I'd share a pic of my Amiibo collection. At the time, my Metalbeard's Sea Cow was in the way, so I moved it to a safe place while I got the camera. I couldn't find the camera, so I came back up defeated only to find that the Sea Cow had gone Titanic... Now I have plenty of building to do today. Whoopee EDIT2: The Amiibo Availability chart has been updated. There is now a restock type of Super Smash Bros. Amiibo. The Super Mario Amiibo have been released and therefore have a specific availability. They are now scattered throughout the chart

That's not just Oklahoma... "Amii-bros" are abundant in highly populated areas. Most Walmarts got around 8 Golden Amiibo everywhere. Being that it's limited edition, Walmart is very unlikely to restock it. However, that does not mean that it will go up online again. Keep in mind that both "limited edition" and "exclusive" worsen the situation, which means that our dear friend, mAUrio, will not only get the Rosalina treatement, but will also never be reproduced in any shape or form (unlike Rosalina is slated to get a Super Mario Bros. Amiibo version as there is a model for it in Mario Party 10). TL;DR: Gold Mario is a rare exclusive. There will never be a Golden Mario ever again, regardless if it's in a new style. My mAUrio is being shipped to my home, so I have very little to worry about. precioussssss... On another note: Mario Party 10 is the worst Mario Party ever.

Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread

I'd like to non-violently direct you to the multiple times Ronin has been stated to have erased the Ninja's memory of everything regarding Spinjitzu. Not to mention the times that he's been mentioned to intentionally unleash a darker power. Not very nice, if I'd say so myself. EDIT: May I also be the first to dub the absolutely fantastic dark Samurai gear Ronin dons as "Oni Ronin?"- 4,591 replies

Lego Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin (Video game discussion)

I'm really curious as to why they chose Frakjaw, as Wyplash technically would be the one leading the Skullkin now that Kruncha and Nuckal are gone, and Samukai being POOFED and all. -
He's actually a pallet swap of the generic Stone Warrior, but with Samurai X's helmet and a new demon snout... ... I need this minifig.

Photos are usually up a month earlier. I don't know if they'll be enough to tide me over, but who knows? I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

SQUEE! Oh please be that ornate. Please have awesome looking minifigs. July can't come soon enough!

Lego Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin (Video game discussion)
PenPlays replied to AyliffeMakit's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
Ten days later from previous post... Ninjago: Shadow's of Ronin has been listed on the Nintendo 3DS eShop for $29.99. The page includes screenshots, and the March 24th release date. There seems to be pretty neat bosses and cutscenes though (thanks to coolcab1 for the link). It appears that this guy doesn't speak English as his first language, if at all. If he can't translate English very well, there is no way we are getting any information out of him. Patience -

I'd rather not be spoiled. I'm more than willing to wait a week and a half. It's listed on the 3DS eShop, by the way. screenshots and all. No trailers though.- 4,591 replies

Either that scene (should #daddyronin2015 be legit) is going to be super well written and dramatic, or they're going to take full advantage of that quote. If done right, I don't care either way.- 4,591 replies

You will notice that Anti-Matter's Hideout's back and right legs just gently breach the confines of a 32x32 baseplate. I'm not digging the sparse amount of pieces for it's price point. It's like Swamp Raid all over again. Maybe if I see it in the flesh brick.

Speaking of Amiibo There have been rumors that Toys R Us is setting the new Amiibo meta with the Super Mario Amiibo wave. "How's that?" you say? No pre-orders at any stores across the country. First come, first serve. Limit of one character per person. This rumor is apparently the reason why we in the US have had no pre-order dates for the Wave 4 Smash Amiibo, however a date for their official release has been set for the end of April in every other country. If this is how things are going to go from now on, hell is about to rain on Nintendo, all because they can't afford a production company that can actually meet demand (said the company that can survive with low sales for the next 50 years...). Seriously. You'd think that Iwata would decide to go ahead with that plan since there is clearly a HUGE market for these things. More than Infinity or Skylanders could ever have. These people are SO STUPID! EDIT: The Amiibo Availability Guide has been updated! Notes: Sonic and Mega Man are Common characters, but are in high commodity. They are currently settled in Semi-common until stock starts to flood stores. Sheik has been moved to common. She's Wave 3's Diddy Kong. All pre-orders have been closed for the Super Mario Amiibo, excluding Mario (he comes bundled with Mario Party 10, which will be available for pre-order until next Wednesday/when the bundles ship to stores).

But children (Ninjago Theories) aren't scientists, so... And my incessant "Ronin is Kai's father" is just speculation on my part, but it's always fun to push buttons. It's just that... it would be so perfect and an exciting plot point. I guess I just get too carried away is all. But seriously, #daddyronin2015- 4,591 replies

Here's a bit of a news roundup from the past week. At PAX East, some Nintendo heads said to be on the lookout for a Nintendo Direct. An African Electronics website listed Amiibo for Jigglypuff, Greninja, and three Splatoon Characters. Also, Codename S.T.E.A.M.'s cast has been revealed. It's has quite a few stars in it. Unrevealed characters are listed. Using spoiler tag just in case. It also appears that Codename STEAM has DLC. I'm not referring to Amiibo...

Keep in mind that this cycle, although very present, usually comes with some form of variation. Every ninja will have a flying vehicle, a mech, a large car, and a small ground vehicle by the end of this year. All five ninja have one of each (and hopefully Nya will have one of each soon too. We're close!), which despite having the same general name, all come in various... erm... "flavors" so to speak. For instance, Kai's Fire Mech, The Golden Mech, Cole's Earth Mech, the Electromech, the Titan Mech, and the Samurai Mech are (obviously) all Mechs but each and every one of them is various in style and design. So yes, recycled ideas are very present in this theme, but that's what makes me excited for waves to come, as there are bound to be some really cool takes on familiar types of stuff on the way.

No, no. You want a New 3DS. That's what you want. And it's run by a child who finds his fanfiction defies all storyline in Ninjago from happening. Ninjago Theories is not a source for factual information, or fact based/backed theories. They're just too far out there.- 4,591 replies

Hmm... Where did Ninjago's Dark Matter come from... Where did Knight's Kingdom (2)'s Lord Vladek's power come from... Heck! How is it that misused imagination becomes the Malestrom?... Suppose it was some superior power... Headcanon is best canon

It is truly a shame that Volcano Base has spoiled those of us who were around when the first Lego Agents came out. Then we wouldn't be so stingy about Anti-Matter's hideout. To be honest, the Anti-Matter Hideout was a surprise to me at first. Oil rigs have never been all too appealing to Lego's target audience (if I'm remembering the Lego City Coast Guard one correctly) yet here we are. Don't get me wrong though, for what it is, it's goal is accomplished. It also has some excellent space on it's deck for some sweet battle scenes, should the imagination allow. Also, a giant portal of dark matter stuff has been a long time coming, especially for those of us who played Lego Universe.

All of the parts for this "new Kai" can be sourced from Rebooted Kai, any Kai with a headwrap (besides the original and DX figures), and... Any recent Lloyd minifigure. The weapons use some pretty common Ninjago parts as well. The headwrap has no print on it, but if you use brasso, or something similar, the Zukin symbol from this year's Ninjago sets can be easily removed. Unless of course there was a basic headwrap that I completely forgot about.

It's a rumor derived from slightly similar face designs, as well as a very common, and easily executable plot point/trope (Think Darth Vader's "...I am your father."). Not to mention that red is typically most common in fire themed characters in Ninjago, as well as other forms of media. Not to mention Nya's true potential will be a major plot point, and Ronin being her father would be a great way to introduce it. Horizon was onto something when he first brought it up.- 4,591 replies

I'd love either of those. Eyezor would have a snake head with a Mohawk molded into it, or have a snake head that can wear hair/hats. I'd LOVE that! Skylor would include brand new prints, but most importantly would include her hair piece which would be unique to her exclusively. Of course I'd rather have an Elemental Master, Rebooted Nya, Misako, Stone Armored Rebooted Cole or Jay, Cyrus Borg, Mother Doomsday, or Kai & Nya's Father, but that's just me.
