  1. Quite true. I rephrased it. If I recall correctly someone said that Jay Walker One was exclusive to K Mart in Australia, but I might just be confused.
  2. I will (again) reiterate the exclusives for this year: Dojo Showdown-Toys R Us Chain Cycle Ambush-Walmart Jay Walker One-Target City of Stiix This applies to a few countries, but specific ones besides the US? I'm not quite sure. Also keep in mind that even though these sets are "store exclusives" they are also available from Lego Stores, and Shop@Home.
  3. Now a maroon colored box with Cloud Kingdom in the background as box art... THAT'S what I've been needing!
  4. Making and deleting a temporary gMail account is second nature...
  5. You can send that cover my way too, Nekchir. I have nearly three years under my belt on Eurobricks, not to mention about 15 years with the hobby. Email me at blablablabla
  6. They will not be participating in any Force Friday festivities. They will be getting the sets in, but they will be opening for normal store hours only. Or at least that's the info I got from my store.
  7. Mask Maker vs. Mask Hoarder, anyone? I mean if he has to be packaged with a Toa sized character, wouldn't this work (that's if Ekimu really does get upgraded from his current state)?
  8. Oh, the theme will make money during the movie's release, and when the DVD releases. It's just that, in between those windows, it's likely that it'll just warm the shelves... It's more of a "face the music" situation. The theme is dead. I can't be persuaded, because I never liked the theme, and anything that makes Lego not make money is something that I naturally detest. I feel the same about Galidor. Now I don't know about others, but I wouldn't get your hopes up...
  9. Yummm... Ninjago sets that have a black base color
  10. This certainly is exciting news! Also, Nekchir, there is no need for photoshop. Unless of course, you have lots of time, and good Photoshop skills. A shoddy job could affect the images and ultimate cause unneeded speculation on stuff that was accidentally edited in (it wouldn't be the first time) Note: Nekchir never said anything about PM'ing anyone. Please stop asking as allowing these to leak could effect his business. Just be patient. September is just around the corner.
  11. You really should bring this to the attention of someone who has contact with Lego directly. They will most likely take swift (and successful) action.
  12. I'm very happy that you're optimistic about Ben 10, gamejutzu, but the original constraction theme was a HUGE flop. The sets were shelf warmers at a price that only the Architecture Seattle Space Needle has managed to use with success. Ben 10, although it's probably still running, is not exactly the most popular TV show from social media's concerns. Add that to the fact that the initial group of kids that fell in love with the show are now teens and probably don't care anymore doesn't help much either. Lego got the license several years after the original Ben-10 was relevant, hence the limited success (if it could be called that). Them using the license again would be like if they got the license to Angry Birds six years after being even remotely relevant... ... oh wait.
  13. I have not been watching as much anime as I would like to in these past few months, but I might as well redeem myself in some way. I found this flowchart to help out those who are just getting into Anime, and need a few suggestions. For the record, this isn't mine, and I don't necessarily condone the choice of some of these, but, hey, to each their own and don't let me stop you . Enjoy!
  14. Has anyone noticed that the Jay Fun Pack isn't available anywhere in the US for pre-order?
  15. Keep in mind that there are some parallels to be made with Lego's media heavy IPs and other famous franchises. Ninjago/Power Rangers and Chima/Thundercats are two that come to mind. Although not carbon copies of each other, each grouping shares similar ideas, tropes, settings and styles of which their characters are portrayed.
  16. For credence, it's in the set's description as well as the first page of the set's instruction booklet.
  17. That seems likely enough! The May release of the 5th wave makes it so that TT can offer a big E3 reveal of what's up next. Also, keep in mind that, when it comes to Disney's properties, if Lego Dimensions is a phenomenal success, you know that Disney, heck even Activision and (maybe) Nintendo, would gladly sell over some IPs to get just a bit of those profits!
  18. Actually, there are 5 waves of Series 1. Wave 1 (September 27th) consists of 5 variants of Starter Packs, 3 Level Packs, 2 Team Packs, and 15 Fun Packs Wave 2 (November) and 3 (January) each consists of 1 Level Pack, 1 Team Pack, and 3 Fun Packs Wave 4 (March) consists of 4 Fun Packs Wave 5 (May) consists of 3 Fun Packs
  19. Keep in mind that Lego has had some crazy demand issues as of recent (Jurassic World, Scooby Doo, Research Institute). Excluding DC (as their regular Lego sets are widely available), it would be wise to go purchase any, if not all, of the licensed Dimensions Packs on Day 1! For those checking at home, that's: Wave 1 (September 27th, 2015): Back to the Future Level Pack The Simpsons Level Pack Portal 2 Level Pack Jurassic World Team Pack Scooby-Doo Team Pack Wicked Witch of the West Fun Pack Wave 2 (November 3rd, 2015): Doctor Who Level Pack Bart Simpson Fun Pack Krusty the Clown Fun Pack Unikitty Fun Pack* Wave 3: (January 19th, 2016) Ghostbusters Level Pack DC Villain Team Pack** Doc Brown Fun Pack Cyberman Fun Pack Wave 4: (March 31st, 2016): Stay Puft Fun Pack Wave 5: (May 31st, 2016): Slimer Fun Pack *This version of Unikitty is unique to this set (new face), at the lowest price point a normal (not sitting) Unikitty has been available. Expect an easier time finding this one compared to the others, but still. **This is the cheapest set Harley Quinn and the Joker have ever been available in. This set is a steal. Not to mention the fact that you get two of some of the coolest, and well known Comic Book villains that have come to exist. Note: Be wary of the appeal of Wonder Woman, Benny the Spaceman, Superman, and Bane. Due to my past experience with "Toys-2-Life," it's always the popular characters that sell first. Being well stocked is not an issue, as this is one of the most hyped up games of the year. They will sell out ASAP.
  20. Also, do keep in mind that when it comes to vehicles and gadgets that the actual model we get to build, and the model in game may be vastly different depending on the designers/programmers choice. The TARDIS is an obvious one, but others like Cyborg's robot, or what we've seen of Benny's Spaceship, Spaceship, SPACESHIP!!! are just a few that come to mind.
  21. Correct. Bionicle (much like Sonic the Hedgehog) is backed by a group of adolescents that grew up with the story. Ninjago's original fans, if they haven't entered the dark ages, are still at a stage in their lives where they don't know how to collect all of their fans together, or, more or less, engage in logical conversation with them (there are exceptions, like myself). If they were already to reach that stage, said site would be overrun with childish content which would drive away the older fans who can actually engage in a conversation. Allow me to demonstrate: Would you like a forum overrun like that? Also keep in mind that, no one who has reached a civilized age has stood up and started a site that runs in a civilized manner (a la BZP). One day, that may come, but also keep in mind that some of said "under-aged" users have evidently sneaked into here. The 18-year-old minimum age is definitely a hindrance, keeping a community from being set up here, but that hasn't stopped some. So, I agree, that can't be stopped sometimes, but it can be helped... Eurobricks is not the only site that does this, however, and it's because of my "example" that that restriction is there (thankfully so). I mean once that cap is lifted suddenly we will drown in that mess. Another example: I discovered and tweeted out something interesting that Ninjago's writers used in the show. Suddenly I was part of the "Ninjago Fanbase" and I was being followed by a whole slew of kids who at one mention of something "Ninjago" would have a freak-out session with the keyboard and make some of the most outlandish notions that I, honestly, have ever heard! My feed was chaos! *sigh* It's mostly due to age. If there was a forum much like BZP that had an age cap off... let's say 14. I think we'd be okay, especially if English literacy was pushed by mods as civilized and lovely as our own (BZP's as well!). Edited for clarity
  22. Not sure about the image myself, but... When entering a high score on a classic arcade game, they would ask for your initials. The defaults were the letters "AAA" representing your first, middle, and last name respectively. Also, "All Your Bricks Are Belong to Us" is a portmanteau of the old internet meme "All Your Base Are Belong To Us." The line originates from the game "Zero Wing," an arcade game from 1989. The game was one of the first to feature fully voice acted cutscenes. However, the voice actors, as well as those who ported (translated) the game had little comprehension of the English language, hence the very odd sounding line. .On a different note, a source of mine has informed of some interesting news. Many of us know that Lego Stores rarely carry Lego Video Games, if at all. I'd like to be the first to inform you all that all Lego Dimensions Fun, Team, Level, and Starter Packs (not sure if all console's will be carried) will all be available at Lego Stores on their respective release days!
  23. This entire year, as well as the first half of next year (should they decide not to do a hiatus between January and July) will most be sets that will coincide with the TV show. Once August 2017 hits, though, we should get a movie's worth of product as they movie releases that fall (unless they go for the odd September release with the movie sets).
  24. That makes sense since Stiix is a Toys R Us Exclusive and the Chain Cycle Ambush is a Walmart exclusive.
  25. Loving the how these sets sound. I wonder where the Airjitzu flyers are, though? I can't see Lego ditching these early in favor of "Big Bang's" eventual game/toy sets. Yay for more ninja dragons, but getting two in one wave is a surprise. I hope that by "Zeppel" they mean Zeppelin. We've been needing a Lego zeppelin for years!
