  1. You just won the internet. Unfortunately I lost it, so I can't give it to you until it has been located. I guess when I use the term "rehash" I mean that it is a redo of the same general idea, despite aesthetic of color, design, and features.
  2. So what would be a better term for something that is the same idea, but with a different style? I see the Ninja's vehicles from this perspective: -Dragon: Zane (Ice Dragon), Kai (Fire Temple), Cole (Earth Dragon), Jay (Lightning Dragon), Lloyd (Golden Dragon), Titanium Ninja (Titanium Dragon) -Hoverboard: Zane (Chain Cycle), Kai (Morro Dragon), Jay (Morro Dragon), Skylor (Condrai Copter) -Jetpack: Kai (Rattlecopter), Jay (Warrior Bike), Zane (Battle for Ninjago City) -Motorbike: Kai (Blade Cycle), Zane (Fangpyre Truck), Lloyd (OverBorg), Cole (Blaster Bike) -Air Vehicle: Jay (Storm Fighter), Zane (Ninjacopter), Kai (Kai Fighter), Cole (Boulder Blaster) -Small Vehicle: Zane (Garmatron), Nya (Final Flight of Destiny's Bounty), Kai (Ninja DB X) -Medium Vehicle: Cole (Earth Driller), Nya (MechDragon), Kai (X-1 Charger), Jay (Jay Walker One), Lloyd (Jungle Raider) -Heavy Vehicle: Cole (Tread Assault), Jay (Thunder Raider), Nya (Ninja DB X) -Mech: Nya (Samurai Mech), Kai (Fire Mech), Lloyd (Golden Mech), Cole (Thunder Raider), Zane (Titan Mech), Jay (Electromech) -Team Vehicles: Ultrasonic Raider, Destiny's Bounty (Mk. I & II)
  3. Most Lego stores throughout the country are already selling it. It apparently is the only item that's new for May that wasn't street dated for the first.
  4. Ah, I stand corrected. The Titan Mech is comparable to the Samurai Mech. Being larger puts it in a different size scale from the other mechs, so I consider them as rehashes of their own. This goes for the Golden Mech as well. Will we get larger mechs for the other three main characters? Probably not, but due to scale, I keep them separate. IMO, I've always considered Cole's Tread Assault to be in a "heavy vehicle" class alongside the Thunder Raider and the Ninja DB X. Since practically each character needs a type of vehicle to their own, I've always thought that Cole's Earth Driller was more of Cole's comparison of the JayWalkerOne and the X-1 Ninja Charger.
  5. Taking a good look at the top of the box, you can see a tan colored character with red hair and a blue torso wielding a gold sword (Laval). He is standing next to a dark green character with a red cape and a golden sword (Cragger). They are on the far side of the larger section of the bottom row. Next to Unikitty, you can see a white headed character with a golden upper torso that has white wings projecting from the side as well (Eris). Take a look at minifigures 32, 33, and 36 respectively in the image below. (Note: the image is not mine)
  6. I'm curious as to what fits in the middle of the Ultrasonic Showdown. It's hallow in the center. It would be cool if the App Brick Drone could fit in there, but it seems to large to fit.
  7. Ahem... X-1 Ninja Charger and Jay Walker One Jay's Storm Fighter and Kai Fighter Kai's Fire Mech, the Earth Mech in Thunder Raider, and the Electromech Dragons upon Dragons upon Dragons Two Destiny's Bounties Every group of villains has had a motor bike of sorts, and Ninjago strives off of rehashes. Sure every rehash has cosmetic differences, but they still are rehashes. Don't get me wrong. I love them. That's the one thing about Adventure themes, they rehash ideas, but they are never the same as the first time, that's why I collect them specifically.
  8. We honestly have no idea. For all we know it could be another stocking stuffer this Christmas. Although, of course, then both Fangar and Kai will be even more irrelevant due to their respective themes having departed altogether* (Fangar) or departed in context (Stone Armor Kai was in Rebooted, nearly a year after release). But, let's be honest, "normal people" only buy these little box sets for the DC minifigure. *Somewhat. Laval, Cragger, and Eris in their 2013 variants will be in Lego Dimensions this Fall.
  9. Jay has one, but it isn't featured on the front of the box. Toy Fair Images show that it's a blue variant of Kai's Having now seen final images of the Titan Mech Battle, it certainly looks like the strongest set of this wave. The set not only includes a nice selection for just five minifigures, but the Mechs look so wonderfully superb. I was really worried initially about the Morro Mech being too similar to the Samurai Mech, but now that we have clearer images, it looks fantastic! I also love how the Ronin R.E.X. is equipped with so many little features. It certainly appears to be Ronin's mobile home of sorts. It's also wonderful of just how many weapons we get in in the Airjitzu spinners. It reminds me of the Exclusive Weapon Training Set from 2011 in how well supplied they are. But I have to be honest, no set steals the show more than the Master Wu Dragon. The price per piece ratio is insane. 575 pieces for just $40! The design is unholy in detail, and that's a good thing! The amount of minifigures you get is absolutely preposterous! I love this set!
  10. Similar to how everyone of the Ninja has gotten a bike, flying vehicle, and a mech in the past, I can see these hover boards being the next thing. Zane, Kai, Jay, and Skylor all appear to be covered.
  11. For the record, the name "Airjitzu Temple" was debunked as the official name. It would make sense, of course, but take a grain of salt on either side of the equation. For all we know, it could be a new training dojo, a generic one. Several small shrines throughout the sets that are predominantly white and red, so I'm assuming that, even if it is and "Airjitzu Temple" it would follow that color scheme, unless it's some sort of ghost fortress, that is.
  12. WOW! The Chain Cycle Ambush really surprised me. It's a little odd that it includes Airjitzu Zane, especially seeing as he's in his own Airjitzu spinner. The Jay Walker One is very cool looking. It certainly appears to be one of Jay's personal creations. The capturing unit is nice touch, but what's the deal with the big gun on the side?
  13. According to this site, the Airjitzu Spinners are releasing in June.
  14. Typically Lego sets do take about a years worth of development, but take a look at Rebooted. That's less than a years worth of development work, and yet it somehow comes out as one of my favorite lines of Ninjago to date. I'm glad that the choice to move the movie was made now, as there is still plenty of time to create a Summer wave's worth of sets. At least 2 sets and they should be good. It would pale in scale to what's coming this Summer, but it would still be good. Finally got the Battle for Ninjago City yesterday. I've now completed the Rebooted wave! My second complete year of Ninjago.
  15. The Ninjago Movie is no longer a factor next year. The date has been pushed an entire year forward. September 22nd, 2017
  16. Another year of waiting for the movie... *sigh* September 22nd, 2017
  17. That trailer... That poster... I guess the real important question here is, do we have a premiere date?
  18. YCF, Brickqueen, or Brick Show would pay that price in a heartbeat for views (the suckers). Regarding your question about sets being leaked out months before. In recent memory, someone in Mexico got MetalBeard's Sea Cow about two months before the sets official release. They posted pictures and everything. They knew someone who worked at Lego in the area, and by the sounds of it, that worker has since been terminated.
  19. Morro is not wearing Lloyd's symbol at all...
  20. It's Minas Tirith. Notice the white tree on the left of Balrog.
  21. We wouldn't be referring to you as a kid, as only adults (those 18 years or older) are allowed to join Eurobricks... *ahem* We were referring to the YouTube user who got the stills of that image. It seems that only kids get them first. It's probably because, outside of school, most kids have a lot more time on their hands than adults.
  22. I think you've already answered you question. According to the Toy Fair they are supposed to be out around this August.
  23. I see these posts and I'm like, "I own all but one of the Ninjago 2012 sets"... that's 7 Jay ZX's, what I consider the worst Ninja print. I have no shame. Why? Because the sets he's included are worth far more than duplicates of a minifigure, and we all need to get out of this Star Wars complex. Despite having gorgeous prints these days, unlike Star Wars, these sets are produced for the set's sake, not the minifigures. I can't believe how so many people are willing to skip sets, all because it has minifigures they already have. There have been so many gems, especially in Ninjago (Lasha's Bit Cycle is the epitome Ninjago motorcycle, just FYI) these past few years
  24. I love how the bear mech includes a honey pot! Really loving the King Crominus Rescue set even more, now that we have official pics.
  25. The all red minifgure next to Scratchy is Kai, as Cole is the black minifigure to the right of that set of three, just2good. Regarding Slimer... Perhaps Slimer is a solid green mold of a Skreamer? Another thing to keep in mind is Martian Manhunter, although that's iffy as there is not really any signs of red or dark blue. Also, next to the supposed Slimer looks to be the Lion and Scarcrow from Wizard of Oz. It would also be nice if one of those turned out to be either Vitruvius or President Business, as they are the last two Lego Movie characters besides MetalBeard (who would seem a bit unlikely due to his size) to get revealed.
