  1. Do you mean this one? http://www.hellobricks.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/LEGO-Collectible-Minifigures-Series-14-71010-Zombie-Businessman.jpg I have not seen that until you mentioned it. It's tough to tell from this angle, but I'm definitely trying it! Better than trying to mod a Dastan hair, that's for sure!
  2. Hi guys, Here's our newest and upcoming custom minifigure, Crimson Arachnid. It's a custom designed figure, pad printed (just like LEGO) onto LEGO parts - with printing on the front head, front torso, arms, and back torso. Render is by HJ Media Studios. What do you guys think of our newest creation? Love to hear your feedback and thoughts! Crimson Arachnid
  3. Great job here! The match to his real life torso and the proportions used are pretty darn good. I would only offer this advice, I would use a more vector based design program so that these come out a bit cleaner. I have used (and still do use) the free program, Inkscape. There are some good tutorials on here too to get you started, just like I did. Other than that, looks great!
  4. Yeah, I, along with most people on here, are really disappointed with the crappy price point for this set (looks like I'll be waiting for markdown days at the stores)
  5. The only thing I can tell you about what you are editing here, is that pad printing it like that would be very difficult. Here's why from my experience... When you print the legs (to go all the way up the leg and under the torso like they do here), the pad itself can't do it in the position you see here. The hips actually have to be rotated back to expose that part of the leg. Then they print the "crotch-part" lets call it, separately straight on. They won't be able to get that little part that one color as thoroughly or accurately as you did. You especially won't see that line towards the top of the middle "crotch" section - it's too high up and under the hip above to get in there. If LEGO did try to color that part, it will be somewhat like you have it, but not that clearly. I don't think they would do a whole separate print run for that part of the leg just for that, IMHO, not with all the other details they have done here (including side leg printing). BUt, it does look cleaner. Anyway, just thought I'd share my perspective on that. Also, while I was disappointed to hear the rumors were true, that there was no new clips or teaser trailers at SDCC Panel, it was cool that they posted that video of behind the scenes stuff. It still got me jazzed to see it, even more...and with the sets being revealed in the next month or so, it's just enough to keep my appetite whet for the trailer in Sept/Oct. If you haven't seen the behind the scenes video yet, check it out here: http://www.starwars....-panel-liveblog
  6. I'm liking the design for Rey overall, especially the new head print - looks just like Daisy. However, I'm not liking that the headpiece, which isn't horrible in my opinion, isn't the same color as the "wraps" on the torso. They should not be different colors. Just look here: http://static1.squarespace.com/static/5008676d84aeae82b8acdd8c/553290aae4b06c86f2548bb5/5532913fe4b0c759b3870c49/1429377370612/Force+Awakens+Exhibit++-+93.jpg
  7. That's great! My son will love this. Maybe I can design a "Stephen" fig for you to use. They would love that!
  8. I'm wondering about her head now...is it just like Christies? Or is it Alien? Good point...will be interesting to see.
  9. I didn't see anybody post this yet on here (hopefully I'm not wrong), but in the USA Today article below, it says there will be a build able First Order storm trooper (kind of like the Bilbo fig a few years back) to promote SWFA at SDCC. Can't wait for pics of that to surface! Here's the article: http://www.usatoday.com/story/life/movies/2015/06/19/lego-captain-america-comic-con-figure-exclusive/28970089/
  10. If it's an Arsenal fig, I will be more sad if it is from CW Arrow than if it was a comic variant (as I love the CW shows!). But, on the bright side, if it was a CW variant, it would get me hopeful for CW figs later in some kind of set, perhaps.
  11. Is it just me, or is this link showing "private" for everyone else too? Or maybe I'm just a noob to these kinds of videos...
  12. That looks pretty legit...and solid! Just like people have stated above...just needs a red lined black cape and some BrickArms armament and it's perfect. Love the new helmet mold too!
  13. That is beyond my skills, my friend. Maybe someone could post a good idea for us here
  14. It's hard to see, but when I zoom in, the face on Darth Maul looks MUCH better than the old ones, much more like the movie! Can't wait to see it closer!
  15. I see that BrickShow has the Batboat set now up: EDIT: I tried to embed the darn video, but can't find how...link will have to do for now...
  16. Hi everyone, it's been a while since I last shared a custom decal with you all here on Eurobricks, I apologize about that. But, recently, seeing that LEGO will be releasing this figure at some point in the coming months when they announce their SW: Force Awakens sets, I just couldn't wait and had to make a decal for my son and I for one of the characters from the sequels. So here it is, my version of the new Sith (I assume) baddie, Kylo Ren. I shared this on my Flickr account not too long ago. Please feel free to use on your own figs, but these are to be used for own personal decal use - no commercial use without permission. Also, I'd love to see anyone's MOCs using this, so please post those below as well. Let me know what you think, I'd love to hear your thoughts and constructive criticism. Thanks and enjoy! Kylo Ren - Full Color Given my experience in decals, it isn't the best to use clear decals on a dark torso or piece (unless it's a professionally printed decal). So, I've shared the full color decal below to use with sticker paper (clear or white). This also has a preview of what it could look like next to it. Kylo Ren - Clear Decal For those of you who can get professional based decals made for this, here's the clear decal. Based on this character
  17. Just an FYI, for those who liked this guy and were hoping he'd come back in stock...well...ahem.
  18. I'm not sure if this is the right place, but I've been wondering if anyone knows the definitive color that a fig of Kylo Ren should be? I originally thought black from the tteasers, but I'm starting to wonder if it's actually dark brown. I know the costume was shown off this past weekend at Star Wars celebration, but there was a weird lighting on it so it's still hard to tell in my opinion from the pictures. Does anyone have a pic that shows it and it's true colors? Thanks for any help.
  19. I know people have whined about the Final Duel here and there, but personally, I think it's finally the version of the figs that I've always wanted - this is the version of Luke from Return of the Jedi I always wanted, I always wanted Darth Vader to have a helmet that could come off like it does here with a head more like the one seen on the Shuttle bay. Plus the set build looks so much like the Emperor's chamber. I can't wait to get my hands on it, myself.
  20. Yeah, my daughter and I both noticed they looked different. I do think, though, it is hard to duplicate that same look of Chewy from back in the day. Not sure what is up there, though.
  21. Oh...my....good...Lord! That is friggin sick! WoW!!! Congrats on an amazing accomplishment and creation. That would be so cool to see in person!
  22. I think I liked the Hellicarrier set a bit better after seeing that review...but still a no go for me. I will get the figs off Bricklink, but that's it...too much money for that. I know it was going to be impossible to have a minifig scale bridge in there...but that would have sold it for me. Microfigs...meh. I applaud the attempt...but meh.
  23. I'd love to see more Dark Knight Series figs - Harvey Two-Face would be first on that list - as the hair is not available. Scarecrow would be a great one after that, with some kind of headpiece hood, kind of like we saw in the DLC pack for Batman 3 - but less happy looking. And last, but certainly not least...Catwoman. I like the way that the Batman 3 figure had even a visor that went up and down...that would be boss. Then, I'd also like to see the 50s version Batman figs come out...that would be fantastic! But, I'm wishing...I think the Joker and Batman Begins Batman in the Tumbler set is as good as it gets, I fear.
  24. Aha, makes sense. Thank you LegoGunInstructions! And thanks for the translation, KCMatze, I'll catch up someday with these... Thanks, man! I'm glad that you guys like my designs! These guys are selling fast, so I'll be posting my pre-sales for the next two soon...
  25. Yeah, so far, I've found no issues with my customers, so you should be good. Let me know if they aren't. ? What's GJ mean? I'm out of the texting loop these days. Thanks, I think? :P
