[MOC] [Steampunk] Sir Archibald's Mechanical Elephant
Captain Braunsfeld replied to Captain Braunsfeld's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Well, the proportions are in principle the same as for the Chima thing - and to me they look ok. Thanks for the praise. And I would like to see more steampunk MOCs here. -

This has got the classic look to it - the look that I want to see in pirate MOCs! -
[SR - FB1] Cannon Factory
Captain Braunsfeld replied to dr_spock's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Fine, fine - although I always thought that pirates would just steal their cannons! -

Fine action scene with nice choice of minifig expressions. So, your next build will be an Oleon Coffee Shop, right? -
[MOC] [Steampunk] Dr. Teslisons Airship
Captain Braunsfeld replied to Captain Braunsfeld's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Thanks - I've been experimenting with different "ballons" - these are quite ok. Yes, there are some more builds in preparation. Thank you - well, you need gold, brown and dark grey. And I would love to have some more copper... -
I was a bout to praise the building when I saw the "overpriced coffee" - excellent!
-
Fine build - quite recognizable!

Good that you liked it. I have tried to incorporate this little being into some of my other MOCs, but it was seldom mentioned...

Today I proudly present: "Dr. Teslisons Amazing Airship" This is the Doctor himself: His lovely wife Ada Teslison can be found at the airship's cannon: A glance at the machinery: The ship is modular - here's a view of Dr. Teslison's cabin: I have experimented with a blue background but in the end I preferred the black one. More pictures can be found on flickr. C&C welcome! Captain Braunsfeld goes Steampunk: 1. New try at Steampunk Figbarf 2. [MOC] [steampunk] Sir Archibald's Mechanical Elephant 3. [MOC] [Steampunk] Sir Archibald's Mechanical Elephant
Captain Braunsfeld replied to Captain Braunsfeld's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Thanks - based on Jules Verne's story the elephant is an obvious steampunking animal. It will be more difficult with other types of beasts. Thanks a lot! Yes, go! And have fun! Thank you - I'll include more interior shots in my next build. -

[MOC] Modular Medieval Lighthouse
Captain Braunsfeld replied to Vorkosigan's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Great! These "round things" are difficult to handle - but you even mastered to create a modular tower - very good! -
Very fine indeed - great build!

[MOC] Tintin: "The secret of the Unicorn"
Captain Braunsfeld replied to stej123's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Fantastic build - and it deserves being moved into the pirate forum to find true appreciation! (Unfortunately I am not a regulator for this theme forum...) -

Fine build, fine assembly of minifigs! -
This is a masterpiece indeed. Detailed, well-designed, playable. However, I am a bit sceptical about the "blue" colour used for the tower. For some reason it feels like it should have been "sand green" or something else. But that may be my taste of colours.
