Parts list will be available once I'm finished. Instructions I'm not sure of as it would take quite some time. A lot of progress have happened. The model is now much more complete. Colors have also been corrected to whats actually available. So this is close to what it will eventually look like in real bricks.

The Classic Pirates theme always lacked a larger vessel for the blue/redcoats. At least in terms of sets. In the comics on the other hand Governor Broadside had his flagship named "Ironram". A three-masted 32 gun flagship. It was however never depicted in great detail so the source-material is quite scarce meaning that a few design liberties will be taken on my part. My plan with this project is to build two models; one colored and built accordingly to the comics and one built with colors and technics that matches the sets from that era (exempli gratia Black Seas Barracuda & Caribbean Clipper). In the end the plan is to also build the latter in real bricks. Your thoughts, comments and ideas are very welcome. Following pictures are from the current state of the project.

Thank you! I intend to make some adjustments to the IO model before letting it out there. As there are currently a slight misplacement in the tender leaving 2 brackets under stress. Its solved in the physical model you see here but I still haven't updated the digital one. I also discovered that the tolerances were to tight for it to go around standard Lego curves so I'm also working a solution for that.

Thank you very much! Not as of right now. There are a few tweaks I need to do on the digital model before I feel it’s ready.

[MOC] Rock Raiders sets updated
-DoNe- replied to -DoNe-'s topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
The Loaderer Dozer have entered the world of real bricks. -
Thank you for the kind words! Haha yes indeed. I realize I never posted the picture from the side on the interior. There you can see they have all of 1 + 1/4 studs worth wiggle room.

[MOC] Rock Raiders sets updated
-DoNe- replied to -DoNe-'s topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Thanks. Keeping the industrial feel is one of the essential design aspects. Next up is the Rapid Rider. Most definitely a very fun build given how small the set is and what my end goal was. It have gone from its initial 35 parts to a mighty (😉) 190 parts. -
To me Rock Raiders is the greatest theme Lego has ever produced. The whole story they built up around it, the wide variety of bigger and smaller sets with the best color-palette to date makes for perfection. Given my love for this theme I got curious of what a "UCS" or V2.0 version would look like of these sets. So in this thread I will post my takes on what this could look like. First out is my UCS Loader Dozer. I have restricted myself to only use Dark gray and Light gray to stay within the themes palette. While the designation "UCS" might be a bit of a stretch in this instance I want to point out that the set originally came with 85 parts, while this version comes in at 400 parts. So quite a lot more pieces than the original set at least. I would love to hear what you think!

[MOC] DB Class 01 Steam locomotive w/ passenger car
-DoNe- replied to -DoNe-'s topic in LEGO Train Tech
The model I modeled it after have 8 windows originally, however it would be ridiculously long if I would have fitted that many so I made a slight compromise. I haven’t had a look at the emerald night coach in some time but that might use ladders on the bogies as well. :) -
[MOC] DB Class 01 Steam locomotive w/ passenger car
-DoNe- replied to -DoNe-'s topic in LEGO Train Tech
Just finished a passenger car to go with the loco. The idea is to build a display like the one the passenger car and loco stands on in the renders. Once built there will be only one car as thats all the space I will have. Modelled after this: https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/roco-44554-ho-1st-class-deutsche-bahn-507662894 -

Hmm how peculiar. I've tried both Safari and Chrome neither seem to do the trick. At least I now know it's still there so I can keep trying. Thank you.- 578 replies

Have anyone else not been able to access Big Ben Bricks for the past week or so? I was thinking about ordering a set of XL-drivers for a upcoming model.- 578 replies

Thank you. It really adds another layer of complication. It does give a proper sense of accomplishment when done tho! -
[MOC] DB Class 01 Steam locomotive w/ passenger car
-DoNe- replied to -DoNe-'s topic in LEGO Train Tech
Finished it today. Batterybox is situated in the tender with the large powered up! motor in the boiler. There is also space for the powered up! lights up front. Im definitely quite satisfied with it despite the slightly to small wheels. Thoughts are as always welcome! -

[MOC] DB Class 01 Steam locomotive w/ passenger car
-DoNe- replied to -DoNe-'s topic in LEGO Train Tech
Thanks! I like the idea of an Emerald Night successor. I might just roll with that. The spacing between the flanged wheels is tested on standard Lego curves and works well. The front boogie is connected with a two-point connection so it have quite a lot of articulation. -
Currently working on this German Class 01 Steam Locomotive. I’m going for an all-Lego approach so I’m limited to Legos large Train wheels, which definitely are to small to be completely accurate. However I believe it scales well enough. It has a powered up! L motor built in to the boiler and the batterybox will be situated in the tender. Criticism and thoughts are welcome!

Thanks! Definitely one of my favorite things with moving to 8-wide is the amount of interior space there is! Thanks! Thank you.
