And here I am, with two swords and a throwing weapon . My armor's kind of basic as well. The Boots of Evasion are actually my most wickedly-crazy item. I just wonder where all my Gold went and how come I got so few items compared to other people . I just can't wrap my head around it . The build isn't the most optimal and definitely not the best. I am more of an RP'er than a real fighter/strategist though. That being said, I would kill for another drop that grants Nimble . I'd love Eric to be Nimble, I think it's a cool effect. If I could pick any other Artifact, a Nimble one would most likely be it. That or a perma-Hastened or perma-Lucky Artifact. When I play RPG's (console/PC games, I never played a tabletop/pen-and-paper RPG), I always go for the light-armored, sneaky rogue combat type of character. Somehow, that's just my play style. No matter what game I play, I usually always end up with a character like that. It's kind of seeping into Eric, too. I just love speedy, nimble characters who can hit hard and bestow all kinds of nasty crap upon their opponents while trying not to get hit themselves. Tanking is totally not my play-style .

Videography? There will be videos?

Blacktron Mafia: Confirmation and Discussion

It's not a method I ever heard of, using After Effects to edit photos, but it sure produces some really nice results . Thanks for shedding some light on your work methods .- 312 replies

I think it was Endgame who suggested it, but maybe the Wolfgang will have some sort of Kingbreaker event? Try and sabotage the other Kings. Something like that? Obviously Ulric is the Wolfgang's King, would be kind of weird if Heroes announced they'd become king of the Wolfgang... But Boomingham was a king himself, how could he not be qualified...? Oooooh right, the drinking problem .

The Raider shrugged and passively dismissed Peri's claim about the similarity in names. "Ulric, Ulrica. It's actually a rather common name. Nothing to worry about." "Let's get this over with", Eric said as he unsheathed Conspirator. He then glanced at the Scorpion Knight and rolled his eyes. "And in the gods' names, lose the pink sash already."

I really doubt the NPC's (from outside the factions) will get any votes. I'd be surprised if people even back the candidates Sandy/the Houses proposed .

Spot on! I love this one more than the Hideous Zippleback. I like the way you did the eyes, really innovative!

I'm not a player in the game, but I read some of the Days here and the editing looks amazing. The picture you posted is After Effects' interface, if I'm not mistaken. Any reason you use that instead of Photoshop, since After Effects is usually used for video editing? Or do you use a combination of several programs?- 312 replies

I'll see what the Wolfgang has to offer and how their side will work. If Sungold's offer is better, I might consider joining Sungold for said reasons: to muck up the Alliance and make Eric some sort of Pirate King of Eubric. After all Reno was a Bonaparte, too.... . Plus Tradition and Ambition are two important aspects for Eric. There's also Liberty, but the Crescent's already took that word . Go Team Eric/k .
-
I'm actually really wondering who'd join the Sungold Alliance... Eric could join the Sungold Alliance, he doesn't even have any rep to lose since he's never been associated with any of the other Crescent guilds . However, I'd only let him join to become head and then let the entire structure rot from the inside . Though I hardly believe that's what Sandy has in mind .

"Here we go", Eric said as he followed Boomingham's lead.

Come on people, finish up #135 already! Wolfgang wants its topic, too!

Chill, Lind, it's all going to be just fine. Heroica's only a game and like Legonater said, people have lives outside of it. Sandy's will put up the event, no harm in having a little more patience. What's Hinckley mode anyway...? You're not going to kill anyone, are you?

I don't venture into the Town forum very much, so it's nice to see this MOC posted on the frontpage. It's a stunning build and it really oozes modern architectural design. So many cool things to take in . I think it's a fictional place, but if it were real I'm guessing it would probably be somewhere in Southern France .

You should try and read that trilogy if you find some time. It's a good read. I especially loved Pie's part (but the others were very good quests too!). I loved how fleshed out the Orcs and their culture was . The trilogy's story and RP are terrific.

Too bad . I'm really itching to see this year's results!
-
That it runs on Windows ? Just kidding, of course. Have a great time Sandy! Forgive my curiosity, but are you meeting up with WhiteFang too while you're in Singapore?
-
Did you draw the left of the wall yourself, Pie? You got some mad Word skills (you use Word to edit all your photos, right?)

Tee-hee. Repats About the poster I posted some posts back, it's actually based (ie. a blatant, merely Legolized copy) of a famous WWII Soviet poster. The Vox Populi posters (and many, many others both fictive and non-fictive) are probably inspired by old-school Soviet posters as well, so Kintobor wasn't that far off .

"Wow, wow, Lawrence," Eric said while waving his hands in front of him in an semi-apologetic way. "It's not out fault Peri got taken. She's a grown woman and can look at for herself. We're not her babysitters." The Nord then shot a glance at Peri. "But you can still stick with us. As long as you don't talk too much." "Do you have any idea where the Black Scorpion is now? Otherwise we could just go to him and protect him from any assassins."

Njordon's fishy tail, #130 will be a difficult decision to make ! I really want the Vindicator Seal, but on the other hand, getting maybe more Wolfgang rep and aiding someone who undermines Danab while actually working for a deity Eric's actually has some sort of connection to? Sheesh, talk about a tough call.... Yay, Värtland saga! Wooh !

"I love and care for you as if you were Mother Danab herself, Peri", Eric cleverly countered the young acolyte. "The white poodle you're talking about, that's Ulrica, right?", the Nord asked, even though he was already quite certain of the answer. "As for her boss, I can't say I've heard of anyone called like that here. Searfang was it?", Eric lied, feigning ignorance. Despite his calm and icy behavior, inside his mind was frantic. "Sarfangr. A Norse diety. The head of Wartan's Wild Hunt, the Wolf who Devours the Moon. A worshipper of his, here in Salmanda?". Eric decided to keep his cards close to the chest and for now withheld what information he knew. He'd need to find this white wolf Sister and find out more. He smiled at the thought of a remnant of home being here in sun-blasted Salmanda. He exited the room, Peri in tow and walked towards Boomingham .In an uncharacteristically upbeat tone, he asked: "What's the plan? Need any help with foiling the Rainbow Knights' scheme?"

Eric's sly grin subsided, albeit it very, very slowly. With his usual smug demeanor he addressed Periwinkle. "Hey, at least I got you out. Be happy. That's like what, the second or third time I've saved you now?" "What did the white one do? Did she tell you what her plan was?", Eric then asked in a more serious tone. Gritting his teeth, the Nord then answered Peri's final questions. His voice was icy once more and seeping with disdain. "The Rito was afraid of me. She got away before I could get a go at her. Weak, pathetic. A true coward."

Eric faked a look of disbelief and disappointment and said: "Come on, Peri, you forgot the safeword?", cheekily he added: "Didn't our time together mean anything to you, at all?" The Nord then stepped closer and untied the Sister quickly, letting out a soft chuckle. "Now, care telling me what this is all about?"

No battle Eric continued to stare at the Rito defiantly as it flew away, grunting in dismay at the display of the Sister's cowardice. He clicked his tongue and then spat on the ground. "Weak god, weak servants. Pathetic" He raised his fist in the air, shouting after the fleeing Sister: "MEDIOCRE!" The Nord then continued inside, where his anger and annoyance soon fleeted somewhat and made room for delight. A wide grin crept to his smug face. "You just can't leave the kinky life behind, can you?", Eric stated mockingly instead of untying Peri first. "I'll untie you if you say the safeword first", he then continued, barely able to keep his smile and laughter in check.
