  1. It depends on what you prefer I guess. I admit this set is an expensive one in terms of parts/price ratio, but me personally, I'd rather have the Big Bang set than the Ferrari F40 . That being said: I just ordered this bad boy, can't wait for it to arrive .
  2. Boomingham's remark made Eric laugh. A rare feat for the usually aloof Nord. "I came here because the notice said something about 'Sisterhood of Danab', implying there'd be tons of fine women." Eric then grinned ever-so wolfishly: "Needless to say, I am rather disappointed, heh". "Ja,That sounds about right", Eric chipped in. "The Veterans will probably find some others to do their dirty work for them and take out the Sorceress. I care very little for her, but helping out the Wolfgang in Babeleth was an offer that was just too tempting." Eric shrugged and smiled amicably towards Boomingham, trying to reassure his old pal. "Like I said, Lawrence, it's nothing personal. Just business. I truly aspire to be more than a hero of Heroica, a mere pawn in the hands of the Houses. I want to rise above that and the Wolfgang is my way towards that goal." There were little people in Eubric Eric would speak so open with about the happenings in Babeleth or his intended goals. He knew Sarge was a like-minded individual with similar goals and also felt his friendship with Lawrence was strong enough to overcome petty political ideological differences. The old knight would most likely understand Eric's choices, even though he might not completely agree with them. Eric clutched Conspirator'shandle tightly. "One day, Reno, Eubric and the Crystalline Sea will be free. I was there when they took your life and I fully intend to rectify that mistake.", the Raider silently reflected.
  3. Althior's talk of hallucinating in death made me think of Spike Spiegel from Cowboy Bebop (god I love that show). Even though their stories aren't quite the same, Spike also believes that he's actually dead and that he's only hallucinating everything that's happening to him. It's not completely similar, but it just made me think of that .
  4. Eric grunted affirmatively. Clearly, he wasn't too keen of speaking about this topic of his past, even though he considered Jon and Lawrence to be friends. For the sake of that friendship, the Nord provided an answer, be it a very short one. "Ja, I was. Next-in-line to be Jarl one day...", he mused. Eric then cheered up somewhat, trying to steer the conversation elsewhere. With another customary wide and cheeky grin, he confirmed Sarge's boast. "Indeed, Jon. If the Wolfgang wins that brawl of theirs, I ought to start a clan of my own in Eubric. No better place for sea-faring people such as my own kin, if you ask me."
  5. Eric grinned. "The magic shop it is, then" Before parting, he eyed the Lilliputs curiously. "Can't see the point or any advantage in being so small. Sad little beings.", he thought to himself.
  6. But, but,...Aquaman sucks! He sucks underwater! Thanks for the review. Loved seeing the set and the figures through your photos and I'll definitely be picking this up as soon as I can order it via S@H .
  7. Eric rolled his shoulders and rubbed his hands. "Well then, that's that. 500 coin in the party's pockets. Easy earn." He then turned to Sarge. "I wouldn't mind seeing that magic shop myself, honestly. Do you reckon it'll still be open when we get there?" The Nord then shrugged. "After that, I have no real priorities, really. The library, the port, the palace,...whatever"
  8. Eric nearly vomited when the poison started coursing through his veins. "That's not good..." Despite feeling bleak, Eric repeats.
  9. Holy ****! How could I've missed this!? I really need to venture into the Licensed subforum more often. So psyched for this! At first, I was kind of disappointed when I read that it would be a SDCC exclusive, when I saw someone else see you can buy it off S@H, I was soo hyped . Available August 1st in Belgium. Can't wait . Too bad you can't pre-order...
  10. Eric grumbled and muttered through his clenched teeth: "Die already, scoripion!" Eric repeats.
  11. I'm sorry, my mistake! I should've called him the Boy Mage instead.
  12. "Well, what have we got here?", Eric smirked as he saw Heckz on the floor and Sarge hiding. "Looks like we came along just in time. Boy Wonder is eating sand already." The Nord unsheathed his mighty sword and swung it around. Scanning his enemies, he decided to go after one of red scorpions. Eric attacks Crimson Scorpion B from the front row, using Godricsleif.
  13. Eric growled somewhat bestially and flashed his canines in a wolfish grin. "No need to be so protective. I'm not going to bite", the snapped. "Let's go." Eric leads Boomingham to the others.
  14. "Strange...", the Nord remarked, but decided to give the occurrence no further thought. "Some would say the death of these gentle giants would measure exactly 1000 gold pieces. So, it's probably up for debate" The longer Eric stared at the beast, the more his lust to slay it dwindled and the thought of the reward slowly dissipated. "You say these are gentle creatures. Does that make them easy to kill? Is that why so few are left?"
  15. "Hmpf". Reluctantly Eric drank a smidget of the Fountain's water. He didn't really seem to full much at first. The Nord's eyes widened when he saw the tree-clad creature nearing the water. "Venasaur Enki...", he muttered. "No wonder there's not a lot of them left. They're worth a ton of gold. So this is the last one, eh? How will it reproduce, then?", Eric asked, purposefully misinterpreting the wereparrot's words.
  16. Is there a page about the Crimson Crown on the wiki? I tried searching for it, but I came up empty-handed...
  17. Eric looked unpleasantly surprised when the woman turned around. He crossed his arms and stared at her in disbelief when she spoke of the Fountain's magical properties. "What sets this pond apart from any other pond?", Eric asked. He then unveiled one of his Meads and said: "This is the only drink that'll soothe my soul. Your Danab holds no reign over my soul, nor my body."
  18. UsernameMDM's second character must be the most well-equipped fresh Hero to join .
  19. Thanks for clarifying! We'll be with you shortly, Pyro. Hang on in there! "Let's check out that Fountain, then. Better be some damn spectacular fountain", Eric smirked.
  20. Funny reading how Mhinak is so eager to save the forest. Typically, it's the Elves that are so desperate to protect nature, not Dwarfs. Kind of neat, but weird, seeing it the other way around.
  21. OoC: I think visiting the Fountain will cost us extra time since it's technically a "new" area even if it is within the Bog. If it doesn't cost us extra time, I'm willing to go there. If it does cost us extra time, Eric will go to the Coast. The Nord's eyes widened and he blinked somewhat more than usual, trying to comprehend what Lawrence was telling him. Eric then proceeded to chuckle slightly. "Now, now, Lawrence. Are you discriminating against our lupine counterparts. I'm sure she's equally qualified for the job as a Human". He winked and then gradually turned more stoic and serious again. "So, you believe there's a connection between Ulrica and Ulric?" "I'm not quite sure," Eric shrugged. "Ulric is quite a common name for those who follow the Path of the Wolf where I come from. The name means 'might of the wolf', so it could just be coincidence that Ulric and Ulrica share that name, them being Werewolves and all. One of the more powerful clans in the North, clan Isengrim, is well-known for the numbers of lycanthropes in its ranks. They see it as being blessed by Sarfangr himself. Hel, they even call the affliction 'the Blessing of Sarfangr'. Point is, many of the clan's folk are named Ulric or similar. To them its good omen. Catch my drift? Might be nothing to it. We need to find out more about this 'Ulrica' before jumping to conclusions." He then tilted his head and raised an eyebrow. "I'm not really familiar with the Ziegfrieds. Can't recall having met them or having worked for them. I know of them, though. Heard they were a bunch of zany clowns and lunatics, but still quite powerful at their craft. I don't know what to make of it, really. Don't mages usually stay in their Circle and care little for the world outside of it?"
  22. Eric shrugged. "Don't really care about a fountain. I'd rather head to the Shipwreck Coast and meet with the others. I've got pieces of gold itching to be spend." "Besides, like you said: it's the Sisters we're protecting so we're bound to wind up at their Danab Fountain sooner or later." OOC: If we head to Shipwreck Coast now, the entire party will be there and it will be midnight for all, am I correct? I'd rather regroup the party, but if you want to check out the Fountain, that's fine with me too, Zepher
  23. Eric laughed, albeit somewhat repressed. "Hehe, you got me. It was more a figure of speech than anything." Eric met the witch, but he withheld that piece of information from Boomingham as well. "She's a wildcard. An unpredictable piece in the playingfield. I don't care much for her, but right now she's not my main concern." The Nord grinned. "First the Houses come down. First he will rise up himself. Then he'd consolidate and further his power. If need be, the witch would go down. If need be...", he thought. His eyes flickered at the very prospect, the noble title he was promised in Ulric new Eubric. "Eric of Clan, no... Southerners don't use clans... Eric of House Njorrling-Eubric. Seamaster and Warden of the Crystalline Sea!" Eric was pulled away from his thoughts by Boomingham's question. "Umm. Not quite sure. Marmaduc's is probably our best bet. Or we can go to Shipwreck Coast and regroup? I think both parties will be there at midnight then. Then we go to Marmaduc together?"
  24. SELL ALL THE ARTIFACTS!!!1!1 I hadn't even read the description for Tyrant Statue. It does seem quite useful, but like others have said, I'd also rather spend my gold during the Quest than hoard it. On a side note, I've started watching Gotham and the way Alfred talks, that's totally how I imagine Sarge to speak. As in: I'd need friggin' subtitles if I ever met the guy in real life. Bloody Brits
