Wow ! That was fast! Nice to see them with real life parts. Your minifig collection sure is gigantic, Sandy. I don't even have half the pieces to build these guys . Next to practicing my drawing skills, lack of parts is also one of the reasons I draw figures and characters instead of building them. Awesome job, though. They're practically like I imagined them .

OoC: Whoops! I didn't remember I said that. Still, I'll give it back to Sarge for now. Sorry for the hassle. Eric took out the coin they had received for selling the poison. His eyes darted from the gold pieces to the fountain. He gently shook his head. "Here," Eric said stretching out his hand towards Sarge, "you keep it until this business is resolved. You were right, we'll get more out of it once we leave Salmanda. I'll take my cut in Eubric." He kneeled down and inspected the poison closer. Turning his head towards Sarge, he said: "You think this has anything to do with the poison we sold this afternoon?" The Nord got back up and firmly stated: "If so, we better silence those who did this and keep our involvement under covers." Eric then walked towards the Enki and looked it in the eyes. "I almost feel bad for this guy. He probably knows more of what happened here, but I'm not one of those crazies capable of talking with creatures."

Because Nord gods are the best . Boy, Njordon sure is ripped . I had a day off today, so I decided to draw. Obviously it's not finished. I want to ink it properly and finish the details, but you get the general idea: Njordon and (his as of yet unintroduced) Brood. EDIT: Wow, those are amazing results! When I use my iPhone (5S) for photos to be used here, they don't look that neat at all. They're okay, by far from perfect and crisp. Usually they seem kind of gritty and slightly washed out. I'll have to look into that camera. I'm planning on maybe buying a decent one and that one's results look quite alright .

OoC: Sorry Sandy for this extra work Sandy, I should've stated my answer to Sarge's question. Eric held his hand in front of him and refused the coin, for now at least. "You're right to keep it until our business here is finished. It'll be worth more then." With a smirk, Eric replied to the vendor, saying: "We're not the almagesta, yet..."

What kind of camera or setup are you using, Zepher? The pictures in your Quests (like the latest one from Daneeka) look really crisp and the colors look "alive"/not washed out .

No, I wasn't talking about Twilight anymore. I was talking about these guys: & One of them is also called Jacob, right? And the other is Christian, or am I wrong? I found their pictures in the Henrys thread, but I didn't spot their names there.
-
Seconded. Stick with the game and get rewarded. Getting loot with a character, killing it off because you're bored and passing his loot on to a new character, well, that's just stupid, I think . I'm on Zepher with the "beginning anew". If that's what you like, just go ahead and do so! I was merely trying to help solve some of the issues you seemed to have with your current character, this being the Theatre topic and all. I'd try and stick with Mhinak, but that's just my opinion . We've all been there, I think, wanting to start over again. I've been there many times with Eric, yet I somehow always found a way to stick with him, even though I have been really close to ending him in favor of something else.
-
Okay, I know nothing of Twilight. I just thought he was referring to one of the Elves that pop up in several Quests . What are their names again? Jacob and the other guy? Christian? At least I think one of them is called Jacob ...

Have you read my post? It's some posts above this one. I gave you some examples from the top of my head how you could roleplay some change. I know they're not perfect, but still... As for the "not wanting to be a squishy Ranger", level 15 is easily reached. Just choose a new class then that gives you more hitpoints and front row capabilities. Here's my post again for reference:

OoC: Eric drank from that fountain. Didn't that cancel the need for rest? "Let's check out the Hotel", Eric said and gestured for Sarge to follow him. Continuing on the same topic as before, Eric asked: "What about you? Where do you know Reno from? Didn't you mention serving under him? How'd that happen?" EDIT: Okay, since we posted at practically the same time... After getting the coin for the poison, Eric stepped towards the Boutique. The Naga had some interesting things for sale and Eric's eyes went from the Redhawk Helmet to the Beads over and over again. The Redhawk Helmet was slightly out of his budget, but he could always loan the money if he really wanted it. In the end, he ended up buying Prayer Beads, too. Because some divine protection is always handy to keep you on the winning side. Before handing over the money, though, Eric joked: "Any chance for a bulk discount?"

If you want to be less "squishy", just wait 'till you get to Level 15 and choose a new class that merges ranger with a heavy hitter . Your level what now...4, 5? Still lots of time to develop your character. Honestly, I don't see the point in starting a new one, since basically the only real difference is the class. You're already playing a Dwarf and like others have said, you can still sort of manipulate his personality by letting circumstances affect him. E.g.: Maybe his failure at saving the forest and not being able to help the Guardians turns Mhinak into some sort of lunatic eco-terrorist à la Poison Ivy. That's Chaotic Neutral. Couple this feeling with the impression that it's always the weak being oppressed by the strong and mighty, as is the case with the Star Elves and the Forest (in a simplified version). The feral forest and poor commoners just living life versus civilization and the snobbish, conservative elites that try to exploit all forms of life. There, BAM, Wolfgang sympathy! You don't need to be some evil maniac to side with the Wolfgang. You could be someone like the Green Arrow (the comic's version), a somewhat more violent version of Robin Hood. There's already plenty of opportunity, you just need to capitalize on it .

You need great reputation for a faction to train as its special class...

"It's not that I have known Reno for a long time or that I could even be a considered a friend of his," Eric shrugged. "The first time I met him, my orders were actually to take care of him. He had assumed the alias of 'Jolly Roger' and operated from an old slave hold. Obviously, he was a thorn in the Bonaparte's side, who rather keep a tight grip on things." "Although it was somewhat obvious Reno was Jolly Roger, Nemo and his wife thought Jolly Roger was a separate individual who had taken Reno hostage. When our party confronted Reno, he lay out his plans and ideas. I decided to spare him and convinced my other party members to follow my lead." Eric stared blankly in front of him. "I thought then, as I still do know, that the Crystalline Seas would be better of with Reno. I'll feel...guilty for his death, even though it is a necessary part of life." The Nord too looked at the sheathed Conspirator hanging by his side. "I'll make the Crystalline Sea free again and topple the Bonapartes", his stoic features loosened into a wide grin again, "because Hel, who wouldn't want to be free? Better poor and free than oppressed by some stuck-up know-it-alls. When you're free without masters, then you can at least build and shape your own future even if you don't belong to the 'right' House or haven't got the 'right' surname." "Fortune favors the bold and enterprising."

Eric's cold blue eyes followed the meat lumps being tossed in Kabob's basket. When the bloated fly queried the Nord if he wanted to try some of his kebab, Eric simply looked down on the salesman. Arrogantly, yet subtly raising an eyebrow, he replied in a cold tone: "No thanks. I'd rather starve." With that he turned around and made his way towards the Palace District, too. There, he rejoined Sarge, who was easy to spot in his black armour and with his pegleg-induced hobbling stroll.

Wow, really great build! I especially like those docks you made. The shape is special, not your average boardwalks. The houses built into the rocks make me think of Markath from Skyrim a bit .
-
"Right, see you there." Eric then walked over to Kabob and took out the pieces of meat he had. "Here's some fresh meat I'd like to sell. Just how fresh it is depends on your leniency towards the concept of fresh. There are no maggots. Yet." With a disgusted look he surveyed the meat stall. "The sun must've gotten to these desert folks mind if they even consider paying for this crap." The Nord's mind wandered home and the thought of the food there wet his mouth. "Nothing beats boiled sheep's head, some dried fish or fermented shark. Coupled with good Mead and dark bread. These people knew nothing of good cuisine."

I agree with Kinto here, the Wolfgang isn't necessarily Evil. Barbaricca is, however. She's the part that makes people see the Wolfgang as Evil, but the organisation and its ideals in itself are rather "okay", I guess. Ironically, through a twist of fate, I still got Reno's blade after I passed up on receiving any loot from that battle . Like you said though, Heroica needs to be a fun experience for the entire group. It differs from say, The Witcher or Skyrim in that you're not alone in this world. You're not playing solo, you're in a team and everybody needs to have some fun. I want to tell my character's story and his personality will influence the choices he makes, but I don't want this to break the "fun" factor for my team mates. I don't really understand what you're getting at with the whole "Evil character thing"... You want advice for Mhinak or are you thinking of starting over with a new character again? Turning Mhinak into some Evil kind of guy would be rather weird I think. I don't really get that vibe from him . As for Eric, I wouldn't really know how to catalog him. Probably Chaotic Neutral, maybe even Neutral Evil. I don't know... He does usually only look out for himself and believes the world to revolve around him. On the other hand, he is guided somewhat by the codes, laws and traditions of his homeland. Eric's alignment is a somewhat less greedy and a bit more ordered version of Sarge's Chaotic Neutral . I also believe Eric to be somewhat more cultured and intellectual than Sarge, because of his noble background. Sarge does have streetsmarts though . EDIT: Eric's approach here would be to leave Calamity to do whatever she wants. Eric's doesn't care if Calamity hurts anyone, as long as its not himself or someone close to him. A similar response to Sarge's, I guess, perhaps a bit more apathetic. I'd definitely phrase his response differently, though . Eric shrugged and rolled his eyes. "Whatever. Do what you want. Just don't let your antics get in my way." He says he doesn't care, but by labelling Calamity's demon-worshipping as "antics", he implies he thinks what she does is stupid. That's Eric being his arrogant self again. That's where he also differs from Sarge, he's somewhat more subtle.
-
Eric returned Sarge's smile with a wicked grin of his own. "Eubric will be ours eventually. It's only a matter of time." "Let's head to the Palace via the Souk. I've got some of this stinking meat on my hands I want to get rid off."

OoC: I should be full Health because of my job trait . In his usual confident and arrogant stride, Eric followed Sarge to Djimini's Dream Forge. His coinpurse was lighter than he had hoped, but it would prove to be enough to improve his weapons at least a tad bit. Eric imbued Conspirator with his surplus Amethyst and Scroll of Confusion, while adding the Scroll of Blindness to his Boots of Evasion. This all cost the Nord 150 gold, which left him with 160 gold.

Though technically Dain wasn't with the Guild yet then (if I'm not mistaken). So, actually it's the work of a lone wolf .

You miss-spelled 'Eric', it should be written with a 'C' . Too bad I didn't win a letter, though . EDIT: You could always give it to your friendly neighborhood Nord, Eric. Donations for the Good Cause * are always welcome . *The good cause is Eric himself, obviously. Hey, what did you expect?

Here, I'll say it for you. The word you're looking for is 'bombs'. B-O-M-B-S. Bombs . I don't think you'll get into trouble for posting that here . It's a forum about LEGO, the NSA surely has more important websites, IP adreses and internet users to follow. By the way, Lind, if you check out the geographical breakdown of your survey, a hotbed of voters can be found in Nigeria. I sense a scam . It's probably where the Bonapartes got their vote(s).

"The two Revered Mothers? How come they're so 'revered' then?", Eric asked. When the Sister mentioned her order could be vicious a look of disbelief came to the Nord's face. He laughed and waved away her statement. "Sure they can," he mockingly stated. When the Sister had answered his question, Eric would follow Sarge.
