This is amazing. The track-protecting shields are an interesting concept and the entire design is a good one too.

[MOC] Blacktron Insurrector, M-Tron MSA, and android fig concept
DraikNova replied to Canticleer blues's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
The android is particularly well done and although the M-Tron craft isn't particularly interesting, the Blacktron vehicle is. -
Okay, so, let me see if these are what I think they are; a cute automaton with a few greebles and an excellent colorscheme, an awesome plane with even more greebles, and finally an airship with even more greebles, one of the best-executed colorschemes I've seen all year and a few NPU's as well. Correct?

Excellent design. Only the hands and feet seem lacking.

Well, the only real problem this MOC seems to have is how the gunmetal armor-add ons on the arms clash with the black. I like how you incorporated his Arachnix into the torso design.
-
The sawblade definitely steals the show, but the white-and-black patterns work well too.

The assembly seems a little weak. I'd recommend adding a piece or two to keep the lower arm at a 90 degree angle or at the very least make the joint stiffer.

Not the most exciting or interesting of MOCs, but a nice one nonetheless.
-
The core belts seem a little cluttered and are making the torso seem too bright, so you might want to spread those out a little more over the width of the figure. The core removing tool might need to be adjusted slightly, as it seems too far back. Great MOC though.

Ninjago Samurai Mech Revamp
DraikNova replied to Takanuinuva's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
While I absolutely love the changes you made to make it more show-accurate, the goggles on the fig and the way the cockpit opens, the two cannons seem like they're a little too far down. I'd recommend changing that. If you want to make it even more show-accurate, you could add Sensei Wu's chair. -
[MOC] Arikev Runner and Wastelands Scrap Buggy
DraikNova replied to Canticleer blues's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
The Arikev seems like it would be great if it weren't for the flat front of the undercarriage. A few pieces should be added there. The Scrap Buggy, on the other hand, is sheer perfection. Rugged aesthetic, a suitably cobbled-together look and an interesting design. -
Quite nice.

I'd use a little less white and a bit more red. The entire thing seems a bit bleak.

Awesome Fire Mech recolor .

You do know that Galaxy Squad is a space theme, right?
-
It just uses some very strange designs (like the shoulder-mounted launcher) and the entire aesthetic of the MOC seems less organic than the others you've made.
-
Interesting. As you say, the grille rounds work well, although the lightsaber blades are definitely a NPU as well.

It's what he's been saying about Solomon blaze. It's practically become a mini-meme.

Is LEGO playing it OVER CAUTIOUS with Hero Factory?
DraikNova replied to pocketmego's topic in LEGO Action Figures
It's pretty obvious why: HF's target audience doesn't seem to want a complex story, so why spend money on making one? -
Well, this is...different. The design is interesting and creative though .

Review: 70008 - Gorzan’s Gorilla Striker
DraikNova replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
While my budget is by no means going to allow me to get this set, this is without any doubt the best set of the Chima lineup for this year, with the possible exception of the Croc Boat.- 42 replies

Warhammer 40000: The Xenoarchaeologist Part One chapter 1
DraikNova replied to Illarion's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
A little childish, but with a bit of work this could improve.
