  1. As long as they keep the technoblade-shaped part at the top, it could even be just a single, "open" room (although if it was double-sided, that could work too), just a small scene, such as Cyrus' workplace and a screen featuring the Overlord, held between two frame-like walls. You don't necessarily need the lower levels of the tower to make it iconic.
  2. How exactly am I saying that I don't like the villains? I just named several reasons why I do like the villains.
  3. Yes! More light blue bones. Why is it that that reviewer says "wow" every few minutes? And marginally more on-topic, how does a moveable jaw make a character "cruel"?
  4. Dodo's have only been extinct for under four centuries, and by human intervention, at that. So, if dodo's ever existed in Chima, they probably haven't gone extinct.
  5. Really? I have only found one use for it so far, and I found a better way that didn't use it within a quarter of an hour.
  6. Why are we assuming that a bird of all creatures has to look feminine? Do I have to make a really silly and rather immature pun about animal clades? Remarkably, the creature that looks the worst as a CHI figure, the vulture, looks like one of the best minifigs. In my opinion, the "main" animals keeping their colors for their heads clashes extremely and as a result of that, only the ice figures look nice, and only some of them, at that. The best ones, besides the vultures, are the mammoth bigfig and the saber-tooth-s.
  7. I like Terabyte. He seems like a wonderfully incompetent villain. Stealing data is what sitting behind a computer for several hours, writing thousands of interpretations of the same virus concept and sending them off to different people is for, yet he goes and tries to just steal the computer itself. Also, the Hurricane Heist set is a goddamn mech. A mecha helicopter with propellors. 'Cause you need to fly in a hurricane, how completely and utterly obvious a mode of transportation. And when all the safes that contain the money start to fly in your direction, you need to run. Really, the easiest thing for the agents to do would be to just follow the stream of objects as he runs and to take over the end location while he's shopping or something. Overall, quite a nice pair of sets, and I love the villains' helmets; a nice and classy x-ray and magnifying monocle for Terabyte, and the more sensible choice of an oxygen mask for the Hurricane Heist villain (name?).
  8. Considering some past goofs of extremely popular (albeit non-LEGO) series (a specific Spider-Man comic sequence comes to mind), I think this theme could survive the show's apparent weirdness, IF LEGO handles this well.
  9. Actually, the first double I ever got was a priced-down XT4, before buying Dragon Bolt in tripl quadruplicate. Anyway, for a 1:6 up-scaling of the Queen, would a 20 cm base for the cocoon seem reasonable?
  10. Wouldn't a one module wide tongue make more sense, though, as most creatures lack holes in their tongues?
  11. That's...what. Just...what. Especially the bits with the carnivorous smiley sunflower and the "murp".
  12. Yeah, I'm a sucker for purple too. But mostly I need him to be capable of building a giant azure/tr. light blue cocoon for my revamped Kaiju Queen. What do you think the diameter of the bottom of cocoons is, anyway? My guess is 3 centimeters.
  13. Maybe Zane got some upgrades and his internals look different as a result of that?
  14. Well, that makes more sense than I thought it would. Why is there a red connector there, though?
  15. So apparently there's a small Bionicle reference in there. I guess I'll end up watching and rewatching it several times when it comes out, trying to find the reference, eventually giving up.
  16. Very, well, not exactly scary, but it screams "Man-eating abomination". Could we see some shots of the head's construction, please?
  17. That would be absolutely excellent. Great for both Chima collectors and Galaxy Squad fanatics.
  18. The new version of the song, while significantly more drawn-out, seems incredibly epic. Too bad we haven't heard anything about episodes 29 and 30, though. Apparently, it is called "Protecting the Tech".
  19. Luckily, the sets I'm getting consist almost exclusively out of pieces I want, making it cheaper than the parts service. However, thanks to the wonders of parts service, we'll all be capable of getting the glorious 5-length lower limb bone in tr. light blue, without having to buy several Chima sets just for that. Should we re-rail the topic any time soon?
  20. Thanks Leewan! Yeah, but it's strange how few uses I've found for the XT4 torso. It's shape makes it hard to use for adding back armor (although that may just have to do with my deficit of armor shells), and the "axles" that connect the shoulder balljoints to the main body make attaching more parts horizontally rather than vertically impossible. The Queen, however, uses this part to great effect.
  21. Such a classic design, similar-looking yet unique. I like the details on the blue one especially .
  22. I plan to get them spread out over the entire year. Why I'm getting them falls into two categories: 1: I need the parts for revamping the sets themselves or other making MOCs in general, or 2: I just want an army of daikaiju Beasts . EDIT: Also, here's a random little list of what particularly useful bone and torso parts you can get in which sets and in what amounts: Tunneler Beast: Waspix connector x1, presumably Stormer adder x1 and smallest torso x1 Kaiju Queen: Waspix connector 3x, the larger of the dual ball cup bones x2, friction adder x4 and smallest torso x3 (also the third-longest upper arm bone x4) Surge and Rocka: Stormer dual ball cup bone x1, the larger version of that piece x1 and friction adder x4 Crystal Beast: Tr. light blue 4-long bones x4 and unknown parts to make up the tail of the set. Rocka's Climber: Smallest torso x1 Bulk's Driller and Breeze Anchor Machine: unknown.
  23. Actually, fully grown mammoths would be far too large for even a full pack of tigers to take on. Young or weak ones, perhaps, but not healthy ones. Also, for most of the geological time span that either type of creature existed, they lived in different areas.
  24. This seems quite silly. I love it!
  25. It sounds like you got a pretty good deal, LewiMOC, as those are some of the most useful parts of those respective sets. Anyway, my current plans are: Jaw Beast: 4x (maybe 5x if I'm lucky) Flyer Beast: 2x Splitter Beast: 2x Each one of the hero sets: 1x Crystal Beast: 3x (maybe 4x) Tunneler Beast: 1 or 2x Queen Beast: 3x Also, since I came up with a way to make the Beasts' heads, I might make "normal" scale/Godzilla-sized minifig-scale versions of each Beast. Does anyone know how to make a representation of the new claws that is 33 cm long?
