This whole "carnivores are more interesting than herbivores because they are more violent" seems extremely stupid to me. Really, I'd be extremely annoyed if Jurassic World doesn't at least acknowledge that herbivores tend to be exponentially more aggressive than carnivores. If you're in a jeep, a lion won't attack you, but a rhinoceros may attempt to ram it. And hippos are the most deadly animal in africa. They have been known to kill crocodiles. And most herbivores will turn omnivorous if they get the chance; it's free, easy-to-digest* food. *Compare the digestive system of a cow to that of almost any carnivore. Cellulose takes a lot of energy to process.

It could also mean that the parent(s) build the protectors. It'd be a little less disturbing for a children's toy line than the alternative.

Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread

Okay, kind of off-topic, but does anyone have any idea happened to the Ultra Dragon? Was it/were they destroyed when the last remains of the Golden Weapons were? Sure, the properties of the elemental dragons and the weapons might have a tendency to resonate, as seen when the dragons fused shortly before the weapons were turned into the Megaweapon, but unless the dragons were also sent into space and into the past, it wouldn't really be consistent.- 4,591 replies

Same thing here. You can make complex models with the CCBS if you want to or you can make a simple MOC, but either way it's easy as can be. And no matter what, the result tends to look a lot more visually pleasing and less disjointed than those built with the older system. In my book, Queen Beast, which uses six parts for the frame, is a million times as good as Kardas, which uses over a hundred. A scorpion build took me twenty minutes with the CCBS; with the old technic-esque system, I wouldn't have known where to start. This sort of thing is of why I dislike the increased use of Technic systems in the new Bionicle sets.

I'm also planning on collecting most of this wave. I just want to build an upgraded Morro Dragon, perhaps using the Chimas spider legs in Spring green/GitD that are featured in some of the mini dragons as horns instead of the blades the official version uses. I may even have to buy the set twice, just for parts. And I've already come up with a customization I want to apply to the Morro Mech. EDIT: The Wu Dragon uses a new Mixel joint piece on it's tail! It's like that minifig-clip piece that Chima used so much for guns, but with a Mixel ball instead of a clip. EDIT2: YES! Finally, a black version of that blade piece from 2012. And the shurikens seem to use one central part that seems like a fusion between the Atlantis keys and a three-sided version of the omnidirectional modified brick. EDIT3: Cole's blaster bike uses a brown version of the SW gatling gun. Incidentally, does anyone know whether all of the Spring green pieces used by the dragons are GitD or just some of them? EDIT4: Damn, the other pictures show them to be black. I recall that we got a price list a long time ago. Does anyone still have it?

Has anyone noticed that the summer torso print looks like some sort of insect's mouth?

LoSS face-plate is a bit larger relative to his body in the set than in the show, so there's some room for improvement. However, the idea of a truly massive LoSS using Onua's chestplate...wow. That'd be a $100 set for sure.

I like the black-and-dark green design Morro's fig sports a lot. It will still clash horribly with the dragon, but at least it looks great on it's own now. The darker uniforms the ninja have also look great, what with the stark contrast between their elemental colors and the black background. I'm not too fond of the "slimers", but the new ghost tail could be nice. The husky is still puzzling. The ghost wearing a purple Sensei Wu hat and normal legs has really creepy eyes, though. Here's hoping that, for the sake of my sanity, they don't glow in the dark. Also, white Alien Conquest guns on the Sensei Wu dragon! I'm loving this wave so far.

If you think that's ridiculous, please take into account that the Queen Beast costs like 54 euros here. -
This looks way more intimidating than the summer sets.

It kind of annoys me that you didn't see that typo even after writing it again. Anyway, I doubt Morro is Garmadon. Not only would that make the drama of that scene even more pointless, but I'm pretty sure that's not even Spinjitzu, just smoke.- 4,591 replies

I'm just saying that children can understand complication perfectly well, and you said that they can't. What you said implied that you think they are not intelligent enough to do so. Having to pay attention to every little detail isn't necessary even with a complicated plot, and, considering how engrossed a child can get when watching a tv program, I wouldn't be surprised if they were more likely to do so than adults.- 4,591 replies

This discussion seems rather silly. Saying that, because it's a children's show, it cannot be complicated or consistent? Both of those things are very possible. Really, assuming that kids are too stupid to understand a complicated plot, even if you show them what's going on, is laughable.- 4,591 replies

After seeing the episodes, I've got to say that Chen is even more of an idiot than I thought. Also, the fact that Morro pronounced his name as To-morro really makes me think of an "Ask Morro" letter column. Dear Morro, How come your dragon has a great color scheme, yet your mech is all over the place?- 4,591 replies

I'm pretty sure that there's a note with the offer that says that it can't be bought. On the other hand, the black brain promotion went so badly that I think I got three extra of them when I came to the store. And that was at least a month after the promotion had ended.

I think the size 3 armor pieces in black would have had the best effect, especially if placed assymetrically. Small, decayed scraps of armor, almost like wrist guards, which seem very fitting for the type of warrior I imagine Slicer as.

I'm already thinking up revamps for the sets, and I think I might turn, as Aanchir puts it, Skull Slicer's "lean and agile" into a creepily thin eldritch abomination sort of look. I already know that I'm going to give Skull Scorpio Skull Spider masks as claws, LoSS's face plate and that I may end up using the official version's torso, but I can't figure out what it's fourth color should be, besides black, tr. neon green and dark blue. Any suggestions?

I hope that Grievous doesn't use the new bone pieces. Sure, they'd fit the look, but, compared to the normal type, they seem relatively useless for MOCcing purposes. -
Warrior clearly is lacking a portion of mask near it's cheeks, unlike Grinder. I for one like this more than the mask Grinder uses. It's absolutely perfect for fitting into the skeletal archer theme of the set.
