  1. Are those your MOCs? They're pretty good. And I for one think the new chestplates are generic enough that I could use them for lots of stuff. For most of the Skull villains, I think their chest plates are best suited for use as siege weapon/mecha decorations.
  2. I think that we'll probably get a look at the temple and at most a view of one key minifigure or maybe an Airjitzu set for next year.
  3. I'm honestly most interested in the idea of lightsaber crossguards in LEGO form. If those are two small pieces that attach to the sides of a main piece, I could see a lot of use for them as decorative spikes.
  4. I personally love a good line of clone sets. Bohrok were honestly some of the best. I like having the same parts in lots of colors. I do hope that they break away from the current elemental color schemes (and powers, perhaps reflecting the originals). Perhaps the Jungle Bohrok could have lime green and tr. apple green. And larger varieties and specialized Bohrok could also be introduced.
  5. Ghosts in Bionicle too? While I doubt this is legit, I hope that, if these are real, they use actual glow in the dark. Perhaps blended with elemental/translucent colors. If they use more horror villain tropes in Bionicle in both 2016 and 2017, I don't want to see zombies in 2017. Skeletons are too similar to zombies. Perhaps half-animal villains could be used, although I do hope they introduce more actual wildlife first. And now, of course, I'm imagining a were-Tarakava.
  6. I've found that a local store offers free polybags ($4) with LEGO purchases of over $15. Should I get the Anacondrai Crusher ($20) with a polybag or should I save it for summer Ninjago sets? On one hand, I kind of want to use the parts from the Anacondrai Crusher to build an ancient temple-style thing. On the other hand, if I save it for summer sets and buy them in the LEGO store during double VIP points month, I'll effectively be spending $18 instead of $20 and be helping to complete my collection of summer sets. Plus, I can get the rarer parts from the set using Bricks and Pieces. And the summer sets seem to have a higher ratio of bricks/euro. If I should get the Anacondrai Crusher, these are the polybags I can get with it: 30205, 30285, 30293 or 30212.
  7. I'm very confused by the fact that Elvis apparently existed in Ninjago.
  8. A lot of 1x1 small mixel eyes and slopes in lime green and dark bley. Also some dark tan plates and bricks and some plants.
  9. It might not be on that scale, but it's still apparently increasing, what with the fact that we do have a few books coming out. I agree with you though, it's going to cause more problems than it'll solve if a media topic is created.
  10. It's not all too off-topic, since I'm mostly interested in G2 Bionicle just for the sheer amount of revamp potential that comes with the launch of a new line and its associated flood of new and recolored pieces. The new tr. neon green bone pieces? Fodder for my Toxic Reapa revamp. Gali's azure shells? Ditto, but for the Queen Beast. Anyway, I'm really wondering if we should start up a separate topic for G2 story discussion. It didn't really turn out that well with Ninjago's topic, since we're still dealing with people posting story stuff in the set topic, but if Bionicle starts producing books and a larger amount of media again, it might be useful to split the topic to avoid bloat.
  11. I'm completely serious. I'm going to be using tr. apple green Invasion from Below tanks instead of his old ones and I'm replacing his one-piece tentacle with one made from 4-length lime bones. I think Skull Slicer's bones will be perfect for indicating feed lines to his weapons and stuff like that.
  12. Meanwhile, I'll be using those lovely tr. apple green bones to make Meltdown 2.0.
  13. Nice! I love the designs, especially Cleft, but I would move away from the black and white color scheme, which LEGO seems to use as a Nixels-only sort of thing.
  14. I'd say that there's glass there. You can even see it in the combiner, where it makes the translucent "stomach".
  15. That's not really how recessive genes work.
  16. That description for Vaka-Waka is just messed up. I wonder if the same person who wrote Turg's description is responsible for that.
  17. Yeah, I've seen that. I was planning to use that and a custom decal in case no one had made such a decoration yet. Thanks for the reply though!
  18. I had been trying to build Hypnodisc of Robot wars fame when I realized that I could build it on a scale reasonably close to minifigure size by just using the Time Cruisers decoration for part 3960. However, I've noticed that LDD does not possess this in its list of decorations. I've heard that decorations can be downloaded and added to a part. If this is true, could someone please direct me to such a download (and a guide on how to apply it)? If this is not true, has anyone made such a decoration so that it can be applied according to this method?
  19. I was just given the Chain Cycle Ambush as a present, and I've got to say that it's easily my favorite exclusive or typical exclusive-sized set since Atlantis' Shadow Snapper, which had an unfair advantage by way of being really really cute. It's got a great function, a great look, great parts and lots and lots of leftovers. And those saw blades haven't been available in tr. neon green since Alpha Team Mission Deep Sea. A definite one to pick up.
  20. Personally, the only things that interest me are the tr. green limbs, the skull torso shells and the new armor add-on, which has a nice claw-like aesthetic now that I see it better. I may pick up Skull Slicer, though, just in case those skeletal limb pieces turn out to be useful for MOCcing, which seems unlikely.
  21. So souls taste like bacon? At any rate, I think it's just that they're somewhat poltergeist-like and are just trying to make a mess.
  22. Why would non-humanoids be incapable of intelligence or individuality?
  23. There's a level in the Ninjago online game that is also called "Temple on the Haunted Hill". The game uses more brick-built enviroments, so I think it's safe to say that the D2C will be closer to the game version, which is in ghost colors. It'd look better than the weird combination of olive green and red that the show version uses (at least for the daylight look), at any rate.
  24. I just want a line full of CCBS non-humanoids. IfB was great for that. If they're dinosaurs, so much for the better.
  25. I don't like the gun much, but it's a nice addition to LEGO's current blaster lineup. There also appears to be a piece that connects the gun to normal LEGO pieces somewhere in there. It could just be a parts of the gun itself, though. But then why would there be two minifigure equipment sized holes in the gun?
