I think it'd be a lot of work actually to make a BoBS build legitimately Varlyian. There's no Venice theme in BoBS and the gunpowder time period difference would also make it tough. There are similarities between Varlyrio and some of what's been done in Kali but it's never really been pushed to its full potential in Kaliphlin so I don't think that's a problem. And if Varlyrio is opened it will become more and more distinct as its builders give it their own touch.

Great end to your storyline, a very nice little restaurant and now we can feel happy for Captain Blofeld too.

A couple more great atmospheric shots! Looking forward to more of these!

[COR-FB] Fort Totie in Jameston
Kai NRG replied to Spud The Viking's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
For some reason the short height of this makes me want to laugh! A cute build for sure though, the little cannons fit really well! -
[COR RSND] To discover, you need... ships?
Kai NRG replied to Darnok's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
This is a really nice interior vig, the perfect amount of color without being overpowering. Simple but elegant furniture too! -
Those tooth pieces give this ship a real flair! Always love your printed sails too!

Very nice schooner, clean lines, great rigging. You're getting good at these!

MRCA Deadline July 2 - and a note about port taxes
Kai NRG replied to Capt Wolf's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Oh, I'm not even sure exactly - I valued it at $400 which I think was about right considering that only about $25 of it was MISB - if it had all been MISB, the value would have been a lot more. A lot of it was odd BL parts and PaB cups and stuff too though, and quite a few were used pieces. No, it's super expensive! And Chile has high import duties - in this case (and probably in most cases) it was 30%! -
MRCA Deadline July 2 - and a note about port taxes
Kai NRG replied to Capt Wolf's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Well I had to actually pay about $120 for bringing so much LEGO into the beautiful country of Chile, so I'll stick with the almost. Edit: don't ask how much I was bringing back... -
A crocodile hanging from the roof? I totally need that in my living room now! Great addition to your city, I really like the variety and colors of the houses. The double layer is really neat too!

Thanks ME! This is actually I think one of the easier ways to do SNOT rockwork as we could tilt whole segments of rock at a time. And I totally hope to revisit the architectural style we've created here someday!

This is a really fantastic dragon, beautiful job on the face especially but the whole shape is really good. The base looks elegant too with the black!

MRCA Deadline July 2 - and a note about port taxes
Kai NRG replied to Capt Wolf's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
The world of BoBS is becoming almost as complicated as the real world... -
Great, thanks!

Cool! Do I have to do anything about this when sending my ship on a MRCA or is it automatically registered?

This has been lots of fun to follow Captain, great job wrapping it up and I'm looking forward to where your next story takes us! (and an epilogue... ) Keep it up! -

Your humor never disappoints! Hilarious story, as Capt Wolf said, the line "Nobody expects the Corrington army" is the best! I really like the dark tan/green leaves/red flowers too, that makes for a great combination. And I love the growing palm tree - and there's even a monkey! -
[COR June FB1] Sugar Mill, Port Raleigh
Kai NRG replied to Ayrlego's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Fantastic windmill! Love the plants surrounding it too, and the angled siding. Great take on Capt Wolf's designs! -
This is a really nice scene, great variety of little boats and good job with the waves, seaweed, etc - gives it a very realistic feel. I can almost smell the sea breeze!

[COR May FB2] Blackwood's Lodgings, Port Woodhouse
Kai NRG replied to Ayrlego's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Really like the slant on the lower leaves of the palm tree, and you've got the perfect amount of weathered detailing in the walls! Great job on the roof too, those corners can be tricky but you pulled it off fairly well! -
Very nice armory, I really like the open structure with the arches and the awnings on top look like they do a good job providing some much needed shade!

Would be fun if we had a basic template (where's @Kolonialbeamter when ya need him? ) and then people could add pictures to their own cards!
