  1. Excellent! Your first mission is complete! I've granted you access to The Shipyard, please post in your Welcome Topic to confirm access has been successful.
  2. Then we'd be happy to give you a trial run! We can grant you access to our hidden forum, The Shipyard, where we prepare and discuss content... but first you'll need to be find yourself a sigfig (I.e. avatar, profile picture) better suited to the LEGO Pirate lifestyle.
  3. Yes. But we'd prefer to get to know someone before delegating too much responsibility to them. And right now, we need another blogger than anything else.
  4. We have been discussing this in another topic.
  5. You're welcome!
  6. No. You don't know the response... Nobody knows the response until there is one.
  7. There is no "probably". The LEGO Group said they are only selecting one theme for the 90th Anniversary set. That aside, the this topic is focused on the lack of Pirate submissions for the BrickLink Designer Program 2021 Invitational. If there aren't any Pirate submissions selected for this program, no Pirate submissions can go into production.
  8. May I suggest prioritizing blogging new MOCs posted in the Pirate MOC Sub Forum - so this way Classic-Pirates.com features them before anyone else does.
  9. This is the most fanciful Sabre Island remake I've seen! @JintaiZ check this out!
  10. Until there is an official announcement from the LEGO Group, we do not have the luxury of assuming anything. But we can complete the BrickLink survey and let them know the absence of Pirates has not gone unnoticed.
  11. A blog post has been published which offers various possibilities for as to Pirates may be absent... UPDATE - 7 July 2020 Round 1 has wrapped up and you CAN read the announcement for full details. But getting back to the important issue: NO Pirate Designs were made available! BrickLink has setup a forum and they're asking for your feedback. So give it to them! Go to the feedback forum and mention you notice LEGO Pirates are missing - tell them you want this rectified for the future… And if you’re feeling productive, you can also reply to the announcement too. ----------------------------------------------------- ORIGINAL POST Somehow Pirates have been completely overlooked in the BrickLink Designer Program 2021 Invitational. Meanwhile, Castle, Town and Space all seem to be there in some form. BrickLink are also conducting a survey so there is an opportunity to provide feedback:

  13. We shall find out!
  14. This ship is wonderfully detailed so not wonder it has a 5k+ piece count. But... as I often ask... where are the minifigs?
  15. And what a beauty she is!
  16. I'm not familiar with the game myself... I've never played! Is there much pirate artwork like that in the game? I noticed in your video there was also a shot of the Imperial Armada over a map background.
  17. How can we do something about that?
  18. LEGO Racers has been an overlooked introduction to the LEGO Pirate themes! We usually get people saying they became a fan because of sets, whether that be the original sets or one of the more recent waves.
  19. Thank you for sharing! I have upgraded your first post - did you produce the video yourself?
  20. @JintaiZ, another for the blog!
