  1. Or perhaps they're green because fields are green...
  2. It all makes sense now!
  3. The Blog Post is almost ready. You can preview it here but you may need a Classic-Pirates.com account to view the draft version.
  4. Thank you for the additional information! Do you happen to post these images to Instagram or Flickr?
  5. Oh wow! This is like fun for the entire family. I spotted Indiana Jones but not the set.
  6. Where do we buy the sticker? And do you have Instagram? I'm writing a Blog Post for your MOC so these two details would be excellent to incorporate into the post.
  7. The Beatles seem to have left their visit to Rum Tree Island out of the Anthology....
  8. So who are these lads? Which faction do these green coats represent? I hear the Queens Rangers had such a uniform.
  9. But what of the sails? What techniques did you use to make those?
  10. It was well worth the wait! This ship is a very unique colour scheme. It's the perfect experiment for a short-form Blog Post.
  11. @jan kusters, be there anymore photos of this fine ship? The Classic Pirates are looking for a smaller pirate ship to feature on Instagram.
  12. The Imperial Armada have captured the Merchant's cutter!
  13. It has a lovely assortment of parrots... and crabs too!
  14. You have talent! Keep up the good work!
  15. An original design! Not a set remake! How did you achieve the design for this?
  16. So happy I think ye deserve the MOC Expert tag!
  17. Oh NOD, you've done it again. You're a digital LEGO Pirate design guru
  18. Yeah, they sure did! Aside from the "cutter" from 6277 Imperial Trading Post, Captain Kragg's Pirate Boat is the only mid sized ship officially release. Unfortunately the latter is utterly dismal as set but at least it's got MOCing potential. Be interesting to see how it looks with a custom sail.
  19. Out of plastic Ok, never mind me playing with semantics, it's a very ratty indeed. Take me back to 1993 when these rats were running rampant...
  20. How do you define "proper"? If they release a wave of sets intended for retail release, they'll be aimed at the 7-12 year old market. If you want sets which break new frontiers, they'll need to be released as exclusives or through LEGO Ideas.
  21. Let's not get too far ahead of ourselves... even if it does pass review, the LEGO Design Team will completely re-engineer the design and therefore the piece list could change dramatically from the design submitted to LEGO Ideas.
  22. Now, that's what I meant to comment on before I got caught up being a smart arse... then ended up a dumb arse. The way hull is constructed gives the vessel some character.
  23. * Former British colonies outside North America. Not sure about the Caribbean Island nations... or Asia... or even South Africa. Hmmm... on retrospect, I didn't think that comment through.
