  1. It's going to vary from region to region. Are you in a major city?
  2. Maybe that's on LEGO.com but it's still on retail shelves...
  3. As always TalonCard you've done a great job to report the latest findings! I don't think we've had any information on the relationship between Brickbeard and Redbeard so this is an exciting expansion of the canon. Here's the YouTube video of the show:
  4. Welcome Alberto da Pontelli and George's home at Christmas! Catch up with Captain Braunsfeld's latest story, "Tulips of Pontelli" in the LEGO Pirates Forum.
  5. It's not broken. It seems you need to be logged into Classic Pirates to view unpublished blog posts. I wasn't sure but you've just confirmed it. Seasons greetings, laddie!
  6. Excellent! The Blog Post is complete and scheduled for December 26. I think you can preview the post here - but let me know if that's not the case.
  7. I have done that for you.
  8. Excellent! The Classic Pirates sighted these on Instagram. Although, this topic will need to be moved to the Pirate MOC Subforum.
  9. Much obliged! A blog post is currently underway... Do you post your images to social media? Particularly Instagram and Flickr?
  10. Technology has reached a point to prevent you pissing people off with image dimensions. Providing you don't attempt to upload images with 5+MB file sizes.
  11. Yes, Eurobricks will generate a smaller version of your large images to display in topics. You can then click on the images and zoom in to view them a full size. For example: the below image is 1600x1200 but automatically gets resized to 1024×768 when displayed in the topic. Now click on it to view in the lightbox and click on it again to view at full size in a new tab.
  12. Quite simple. The average display resolution was significantly smaller. Back in the mid 2000's a typical desktop resolution would have been 1024x768. So a 800x600 image would have filled most of the screen. Here in 2021 the standard desktop resolution is 1920x1080 (although 2K and 4K are coming into prominence) So that same 800x600 image barely fills a quarter of the screen and on mobile devices it may look stretched or lowered in quality (I.e. blurry and/or grainy) which is not good for maintaining a professional standard. Hence why I'm so anal retentive about image dimensions.
  13. Excellent! With these images I can create a fine blog post!
  14. Are there higher resolution images available? 800x700 dimensions are well below modern standards.
  15. I was just about to ask if these ships had individual topics. Ok, so they do! Now, which of these haven't been blogged - time to investigate. UPDATE Photos are too small for the blog and social media. So Never mind.
  16. I was counting colours - not degrees of evilness
  17. 19 Redcoats? Pretty sure a couple of those are maroon coats... a couple are white coasts... and another is a grey coat. Or maybe I'm colour blind
  18. This is a very well produced comic! Better add this to my reading/viewing list too.
  19. Ah yes, it's been a while since I've watched a beautifully animated brickfilm - is that because nobody has made a pirate brickfilm or have a been too busy to notice? Well, today is no exception because I don't have time to watch the whole video. But I was wondering how long it would be before Tattooga got his shirt off.
  20. Yes, combining two Bowser's Airships could make a great pirate ship!
  21. So how many parts from this can be salvaged to built a pirate ship? UPDATE: I suppose if I read the hidden content I get my answer: And Mars Bars too!
  22. Ha ha! They made the naughty wench sit on the stern and get sea spray in her hair
  23. You need to be fast around here!
  24. Your many fans are eagerly awaiting the release of those instructions!
