  1. You've done it very right! Let's write a blog post for this marvelous creation!
  2. You're most welcome! How did everyone miss this MOC? It's got an effective colour palette, lots of nice details and even more some lighting.
  3. What a nice skull island! Let's add one of those buttons to this topic to draw more attention... SUPPORT NOW
  4. Thank ye! Next I might explore some of @Legostein's creations starting with Captain Iron Hook's Classic Pirate Junk.
  5. The demand has been well and truly proven on LEGO Ideas with at least half dozen pirate-themed submissions reaching 10K, including; a few large blue Soldier Fortresses, a modern Caribbean Clipper, Armada Port, etc. This article is a bit dated now but it details some of the 10K pirate-themed submissions which have been rejected by the LEGO Ideas Review Team. This would be great! But looks too hefty for a Gift With Purchase - gotta economize that part count for these "free" gifts.
  6. However, there is only 2 pirate related posts at this time... He's been added along with Brethren of the Brickseas.
  7. Could have easily moved it back...
  8. It's worse than that! There's an entire blog post about it: https://www.classic-pirates.com/news/newupcoming/official-new-lego-sail-2023 Times are tough!
  9. Some geek wrote a blog post about this: https://www.classic-pirates.com/news/newupcoming/rumour-official-pirate-release2023
  10. Oh come, this is The LEGO Group we're talking about. They don't want to release proper pirate set! Let's examine their thought process: Here, have a parts pack... what about a rocking horse that looks like pirate ship... maybe a Little Golden Book... an oversized Captain Redbeard figure tickle yer fancy? But under NO circumstances can we release a pirate set which AFOLs will get excited over.... No siree! That's not company policy anymore!
  11. It's on my reading list!
  12. This sail might be heading for its own topic!
  13. And what a beautiful ship this is - very much worthy of a blog post!
  14. In celebration of the Walt Disney Company's 100th anniversary, The LEGO Group will be releasing a set named 43212 Disney Celebration Train. The train offers an assortment of carriages, each sporting a Disney themed design with one featuring Peter Pan. This particular carriage resembles a ship with a red and white stripped sailor with a Jolly Roger emblem.
  15. Who maintains that, I wonder...
  16. Where were yer expecting, Jack? The cover of this issue stands out for some reason...
  17. Exciting! Will you take photos and/or video while you're there?
  18. Thank you for that explanation! Or they're an eBay freak like me! That's what I assumed about Ray the Castaway and Pirate Adventure Ride. After waiting several weeks their prices dropped significantly, On eBay in my region at least.
  19. And why is it an evil thing to do, Jack? I'm not familiar with LEGO House - what the hell is it?
  20. All the official information has been compiled here. Here be the official images: According to online rumours, The LEGO Group may be releasing a pirate-themed LEGO House exclusive. A kind person on Instagram alerted us to this news via a story... (think his name might have been @PxChris) According to exabrickslegogo via Instagram, a buildable Classic Captain Pirate, in the same style as 76393 Harry Potter Hermione Granger, could be a future LEGO House Exclusive. Here's the image floating around social media - it's not watermarked "confidential" so is it real or fake? In this style:
  21. In my experience, while not perfect Midjourney was perhaps the most capable of realistically generating LEGO Pirates.
  22. Aye, the ship looks promising, maybe even a future frontpage candidate if we can get some better images. Ah well, I guess we wait - @Amedeo has not logged in for almost a week...
  23. This new monkey piece has a hand like a wrench:
