  1. It will be interesting to see photos from other pirate displays at the event - assuming there were any! Yer think Piraten deserves the frontpage for this, Jack?
  2. Is there any LEGO Pirate related Instagram accounts you could recommend?
  3. Yours is probably the best of them all!
  4. Is this also on LEGO Ideas?
  5. One day there will be some form of directory on Classic-Pirates.com listing all these accounts, so this topic servers as valuable research. Anyway, let's see if we can find a few more accounts. brick_islander brick_pirate brickyseadog capt.pirate.bricks lego.pirates.life lego_pirate_fan lego_pirate_france lego_pirates_moc lego_pirate_tales lego_pirate_usa lego_pirates legoislanders marooned_marin legokraken666 pirates.bricks pirates.lego pirate_captain_redbeard pirate_lego pirate_pierre piraten_moc pirates016 piratevillage the.lego.pirate the_brick_stop therealpiratemikesmocs Vanestream
  6. Hmmm... What about Classic Pirates? https://instagram.com/classicpirates
  7. Ah, so he's flesh-toned because he has not yet received a golden tan?
  8. Maybe one day you two could collaborate and make wonders happen!
  9. Thank you! I realise I'm a nuisance, but having nice quality video does help draw more attention - people are more likely to stop and watch larger videos.
  10. That's not really much higher resolution! The frame size is only 426 x 240 - is there a reason it's so small?
  11. Do it! Our very own @Marooned Marin is based in Dubrovnik - he even uses the forts as backgrounds in his MOC photos:
  12. That's a good idea! Also @Matthias83, YouTube has a history feature allowing you to review the videos you've watched.
  13. Obviously, because it's using the original 1989 Captain Redbeard design rather than the newer one(s). Speaking of minifigs... why is their a fleshtone minifig among all the traditional yellow minifigs?
  14. If it was in a video that's going to make it harder to track down. If it was a recent Instagram post, there might be hope of finding it.
  15. Where did you this wonderful sunken pirate ship MOC? Was it in real life? Or on social media?
  16. You might need to downsize your City and Castle layouts then! You've done well to create a vibrant, bustling fort. Were you inspired by any of the forts or coastal in Croatia?
  17. It has attracted quite a few visitors to Classic-Pirates.com but not so many to the LEGO Pirates Forum. Isn't that Captain Redbeard in the brig?
  18. This is a good response, Jack! However, it might be beneficial to quote the person you're responding to because that automatically tags them and notifies them of your response. Let me know if you need help quoting and I'll give you a quick rundown!
  19. It's a mighty-fine vessel indeed! But where's the whale to go with it?
  20. That's what I was afraid of! I've fixed it up. Might as well incorporate that into the blog post too. Do we have those referral links yet?
  21. It is a rather curious set concept to market towards young children given cannibalism is literally murdering people and eating their remains. Ironically the set is aimed towards 6-12 year olds but wasn't the film rated PG13?
  22. Well, in your personal opinion, does the Island Warrior make a suitable update to the Indigo Islanders? Or did you have something else in mind?
  23. Technically he's not a pirate, though. He's more of the protagonist to the pirate antagonists. I.e. a non Imperial "good guy" Although, he does fit in very well with the LEGO Pirates theme.
  24. Is this the one? What was distasteful about the original islander faction? Wasn't the Island Warrior from Series 11 an updated take on the Islanders?
