Evil Stevie's Pirate Game is arguably the most popular Pirate LEGO roleplaying game! If you're interested in playing check out the rules at http://sj.sjgames.com/PirateGame.html Or if you'd like to discuss the game or find some people to play it with, post in this thread!

You're not voting to be right or for the correct answer, you're voting to share your opinion. There is no right or wrong answer to a question like that because like you said its a matter of personal taste and consideration. However, if you'd rather not share your personal taste and consideration that's another matter. Why do they prefer anonymity? And do you know any personally?

It also depends on country and how well the auction is presented as to how much an item receive and the seller's ability to list the item sometimes has a large influence over its final price. Here is a link to eBay auctions for 6258 Smuggler's Shanty and a 6264 Forbidden Cove. If these auctions had pictures then I'd enter them in the Imperial Trading Post records. Nonetheless, even without pictures the Smuggler's Shanty still reached US$21.85 and the Forbidden Cove $US36.10.

But surely if there's that many MISB sets in existence there must be more Pirate fans like me and Jamft. And if there's that many MISB Pirate set collectors there also must be at least one that's interested in forums like this and MOCing. I cannot believe they ALL just collect the MISB sets and don't have interests in other areas of Pirate LEGO.
-
Ok... I'm the only one to vote No, they're now rare collectors items which need to be preserved but supposedly there are 100's of collectors who have MISB Pirate sets yet not one of them so much as lurks at the Pirate forum to see and vote in this thread? Is this what's happening here?

Which is your favourite base in the Pirate LEGO theme?
Mister Phes replied to Tully's topic in LEGO Pirates
Yes, that is correct. I don't even know the names of Pirate sets anymore! :'-( Skull Island has been added to the poll. -
Anybody combined Pirates and Indians before?

You're correct to a point Mr Sting. People did cross from Siberia via a landbridge and began spreading south, however an ice age came along making Northern America uninhabitable for several thousand years. So this forced the people to migrate south to escape the cold. Eventually the ice age ended and the landbridge was no more, so the people from Southern America began migrating north again, but no longer could people migrate from Asia. If you compare an Eskimo to a Native American you'll notice they look quite difference which is attributed to the separation of the two peoples. I.e. they evolved to look different. Their big noses is exactly why I had them in mind! -

Designs for T Shirts I suppose. Really it doesn't matter as long as its Pirate LEGO related. -
Ah yes, now I get watch you mean. Which makes sense because all the smiley buttons do is put the code into the post so you don't have to remember it. I'll do some revising to ;-)
-
The bit I don't get is why are these moving MISB sets in Evil Stevie's Pirate Game?
-
They do for me. What happens when you click on "Show All"?
-
You mean the original smiley? You are aware all the original smileys are available if you click the Show All underneath the pirate smileys when you go to post?
-
I don't get it. What happens in Evil Stevie's Pirate Game that involves MISB sets?
-
I think with a trade like that we'd all win. Sting would get the set pieces and I'd get the MISB set.
-
I think this image impresses me the most due to its level of detail and the colours work so well together. Mr Norro, are you going to post this at Classic-Castle.com?

That thread Mr Oo7 was created on the 20th of September 2004, a good 22 months prior to the creation of the Pirate forum in July 2006. This thread along with all Imperial Johns post was moved to the Pirate forum when it was created. As the bulk of Imperial John's post was made prior to the 22nd September 2004 they were not made in the Pirate forum. However I am mistaken as he has made 2 posts in the pirate forum since it was created. The first being in the Men of the Imperial Order the on January 28th 2006 and the second in the Caribbean Rush Hour thread on October 15th 2006. I dunno, maybe he's just been really busy...
-
Mr Sting, I don't mind trading my used sets for your MISB sets. That way you can have the pieces without having to open the MISB sets :-D
-
No, Mr Phes cannot. I don't have an official word but I believe Imperial John isn't too keen on the pirate forum. I could be mistaken, however he's been at Eurobricks long before the Pirate forum was created and has only ever posted in it once despite his interest in Imperial Guards. Someone else may contact Imperial John but ask him very nicely if he's finished his MOC and interested in sharing with us.

Progress has been made! Does anyone know what's happened to Bo? He hasn't posted here in a while so he must have become absorbed building this MOC. If anyone knows Bo give him a hoy and see what he's upto these days.

But as for the LEGO itself, so long as we don't reveal the "LEGO" written on the brick studs, would we have any problems using that in our creations? -
Could you post this URL as I'm curious to see what you're referring to.

Mister Phes replied to simonwillems's topic in LEGO Pirates
Alas I don't have any Indian mini-figures but the thought of using parts of them (I.e. the head) to depict a person of Mesoamerican (I.e Aztecs, Incas, etc) origin. The problem I find is the Achu mini-figure head is not suitable for any other character but Achu as I don't think it would work for the average Aztec peasant. This got me to pondering if the Indian mini-figure heads would be suitable, after all the northern Native Americans did descend from the southern so they tend to share characteristics.
