LEGO Islander MOCs - Got one? found one? Post it here
Mister Phes replied to KAHUKA's topic in Pirate MOCs
I know what you mean, but eventually I succeeded. Now all I need is to get one in MISB condition... -
Does that smiley need refining to make the wink look more distinguish? Sometimes I even wonder where the winking smiley is :-D
-
To quote the Wikipedia article I posted earlier:
-
Are you going to add pirate mini-figures? Ooops! Wrong forum! Mr Norro this is a very superbly designed and highly detailed MOC which must have taken you hours to complete. This is definitely your finest MOCing venture to date and you should be very pleased how its turned out. How long did it take to create?

We could create Pirate LEGO merchandise however, would there any legal issues concerning that given that LEGO is a trademarked brand? If you like that banner you'll absolutely love the new and improved banner X-D -
That's what I was thinking too, but Mr Tiber said frigates can be Ships of the Line. So maybe he's just balmy :-D

What is happening to Eurobricks

Which platform are you using these browsers? As far as I'm aware Safari is only available on Macs so if you're using Firefox on Mac that might have a different outcome to Firefox on Windows. -
But back to the point... Can a Frigate also be a Ship of the Line?
-
KAHUKA is going to be really pleased to see another Islander MOC Actually we've already been discussion Lagune but it doesn't have a thread to itself yet. Your Pirate MOCS will be well discussed here Mr Willems!

I was about to inquire if there was more pictures but Lord jipay seems to have answered. Not exactly a big gallery though. It looks quite good however, although perhaps a little crowded. I think the brick sail actually works for me which is something I'm not used to.

The Ship of the Line Wikipedia seems to indicate that Ships of the Lines were the first, second and third rate ships were while the frigates were the fourth, fifth and sixth rate ships. However, Fourth Rate Wikipedia article directly states that a 4th rate is a Ship of the Line. But we must bare in mind the Wikipedia article could have been written by anyone and their information may not be accurate. Is there a more reliable source where can confirm what a fourth rate ship is?

You'll have to ask Mr Landlubber that. I've noticed there is an abundance of wavy red lags on the Sienna, and I'm wondering if they're too low because in the heat of battle they may get in the way. Is that just me or am I a bit :S from these fictional herbs?

This is the ppirate LEGO forum after all! Yes, that's why I created a poll because I suspected this would be the case. I didn't want to make it look you were some kind of fiend for opening MISB sets so I thought it would be a good idea for other users to share their opinion. Why would you not expect any separation? Every time a pirate thread goes way off topic I split the thread. Nothing shall go to waste!

If you're only wishing to acquire the domain then you'll be needing to find a domain registrar, Google will undoubtedly provide links to many. Shop round because they tend to vary in price. Exactly what do you need "walking through" though?

Mister Phes replied to captaintau's topic in Forum Information and Help
In case you weren't aware FireFox 2.0 was only released a few weeks ago and FireFox notifies new updates each time it loads, so I'm pretty sure I have the latest version. However, my message was directed towards Hobbes and Jipay since they're the Eurobricks root administrators. -
What licensed themes would you like to see?
Mister Phes replied to BearHeart's topic in LEGO Licensed
You better get Megabloks out of the way then... -
You are indeed skillful Lord Vader! That's a very good Ackbar creation, but while the Grievous is splendidly detailed however it looks too ornate to be compatible with LEGO. Very well done, but just too different from other LEGO elements. Unless its not intended for use with LEGO, in which case I'll write no more...
-
We'll be expecting to see some serious Pirate MOCs out of you in the future Phred! :-D
-
What were the Skulls Eye Schooner prices in past years? And which prices are you comparing them against?
-
I've added a poll to this thread so EVERYONE VOTE AT THE TOP!!!!
-
Finally I have separated the discussion about Opening MISB Pirate Sets and moved it to its own thread so continue that conversation there.

But its something consider. I won't be registering any domains for at least another month and that depends on how long my festive season lasts. I suppose more accurately I'll reevaluate the situation in about a months time. I still need to buy a new digital camera and finish off the Pirate Forum skin - that banner up the top is screaming to be redesigned. -
Wouldn't all those curves make a very "wiggly" track? I'm very train illiterate but I'm making an effort to understand. I really am.
-
And what of the crew? Are you going to add one?

Yes, your website is definitely Dutch to me :-D? So what's this forum supposed to be? Some kind of social hub where users in your area can congregate online and plan events? But I understand Mr Tiber's attitude since many here don't have full time jobs and are still students who need every spare penny to buy more LEGO. So because of this I would never ask for money from the users because I wouldn't want to make them feel obliged to contribute.
