Battle of Port Royal (Moc+all imperial sets+Battle)
Mister Phes replied to Matthias's topic in Pirate MOCs
I've never heard any of them, I also don't speak German so hearing them probably wouldn't do much for me anyway. Although it would be great to have English transcripts... I think someone mentioned doing that last year but I was far too busy at the time to look into it.- 18 replies

Well that certainly is a mini, it would almost fit into a bottle! Be interesting to see if anyone actually does...

Don't the Turkish LEGO boxes have the warning where it says LEGO is not suitable for children under 3 years of age because it might be a potential choking hazard?

Well the first instrument of destruction to catch my attention was that cannon. When I saw that cannon I knew they were serious about protecting their ladies from piratical scoundrels.

Battle of Port Royal (Moc+all imperial sets+Battle)
Mister Phes replied to Matthias's topic in Pirate MOCs
FACT: 6277 Imperial Trading Post was in fact named "Port Royal" in some regions, chiefly the UK and Australia. Where you aware of this when you built your MOC, or is it just a coincidence?- 18 replies

Design a NEW LEGO Pirates Sub-Theme - Q&A
Mister Phes replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
Ya know, the LEGO Ambassador logo plastered everywhere might have been the first hint... -
What a lovely outpost - this outpost has the nicest flower arrangement of all the soldier's outposts, I've seen! A hard working soldier could definitely take a wench back there at the end of a long day... Ah, I see he already has!

ReBrick "Name the Ship" Contest - and the WINNER IS...
Mister Phes replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
You're making the assumption the ship in the teaser image will be the one released... At this point we don't know if that will be the case. -
And now they are merged!

Sheeeeeesh! How could you forget to post something like this? It's one of the most bustling sea port MOCs I've seen in a long time! Not to mention quite large...

Did you do well in the PhLUG MMM:CMS challenge?

After excessive drinking isn't it more common to end up legless?

Nothing like a good bombardment to completely wreck the enemies fortification! Custom torso designs I see - are they your own design?

This MOC certainly does have some rigorous rigging! I'm going to jump on board the "I love the sails" boat - you've used a very effective technique. But how water proof is it?

We discussed this in depth a few years back and here's a precise list of the part differences. In fact, I shall merge these two threads in the near future since there's little point having two on the same topic.

Where do you see The LEGO Group in the future?
Mister Phes replied to Creatorman's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Although it could be beneficial for AFOL customizers... I don't know much about 3D printing but does the quality of the output measure up to LEGO standards? -
MOC: Soldiers react to my brickarms order!
Mister Phes replied to Dubbadgrim's topic in Special LEGO Themes
There's quite a wide variety of reactions there, ranging extremely happy to terrified! -
Well this is a bustling outpost isn't it? Quite a generously tall lookout tower (or crows nest) too. Who's the minifgure dressed in black which the perwig supposed to be?
-
It is a very fine entry to be sure! It has a very subdued colour palette giving it a bit of atmosphere. Do we know how Stijn Oom fared in the 2014 MocAthlon: Pirates' Haven category? And are there any other noteworthy entries in the Pirates' Haven category?

Well that is certainly an innovative way to signal to help, although one would need to be on the right angle to make out what it says. It seems there needs to be more spacing between the letters. Did the lad ever manage to get rescued?

So this isn't your film, cash.lego has just passed it onto you?

Where do you see The LEGO Group in the future?
Mister Phes replied to Creatorman's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I reckon they'll still be based in Denmark.
