    Indeed this pack doesn't offer many new elements but the minifig heads are different to what has been released previously. A pirate captain without an eye patch!

    Parchment/old paper textures were tested but it was deemed the blue water provided a nicer constrast. Inside the forum there are options that enable you to switch background textures so you can preview what it would look like with a map background.

    Thank you for your interest! Those who contribute minifig photography and/or image editing already have access to the hidden testing forum where they can see the skin in action.

    When I first saw this minifig I immediately thought Zombie Pirate! (Though in the photo I saw he wasn't holding a gun) Upon closer inspection It's actually a character called "Kithaba" from LEGO Star Wars set 9496 Desert Skiff.

    It looks like it would work nicely with the Paradisa theme. There is no stern piece however.

    The new Pirate Forum Skin hasn't become public. It's still undergoing testing and the final stages of completion.

    Thanks Darkdragon! The Forum Skin should work fine in all recent version browsers - and by recent I mean within the last 6 months.

    Far too many browser versions for an effective poll. Given when this thread was created Firefox was at version 16 and now is at version 20, a poll wouldn't be able to keep up.

    UPGRADE YOUR BROWSER!!! The new Pirate forum Skin will only display properly in recent browsers. The minimum versions are: Internet Explorer 9+ Firefox 16+ Google Chrome 16+ Otherwise there will be many display errors.
