  1. You forgot to add the responses from SS Lair's Yoda posted to (check page 4 of this thread). There is one person who filled out the survey there and at EB. So there are another 10 or so also. I have some important things to get finished this week and then I will get some more focus back on this.
  2. To build or not to build, is this even a question? I display my own mocs but not official ones. Everything built eventually gets scrapped for parts.
  3. *off topic* Grimlock rulz!!! Dinobots unite!! Welcome to the boards Sauron! Hey Apo, can we get a robot smilie or two? *on topic* Colorful, weapon loaded, and scifi themed make this theme perfect for 6-10 year olds. The dino sets will be the best selling LEGO sets this year I predict. SW might beat them out but I am not sure. These are priced right and look very flashy. :oo
  4. No, no, no you must have beer bratwurst some time. Those are the best intestine wrapped meat you can eat. Oh an beer battered french fries are great also. MMM! :P
  5. No, please don't do that to me. :'( I don't want a survey to be my LEGO legacy. Xwingyoda or admins please don't give me such a title. Please wait until there is something better or at least funnier. |-D I still want to know what one becomes if no title is given.
  6. rutmar said within the last five years. That means nothing before 2000. But still there have been so many awesome parts and minifigs within the last five years to make this deadly for bank accounts.
  7. No, Phes don't you see, that means even Legends. BSB anyone? Black Falcon Fortress? That means everything made in 2000 and beyond (minus licensed stuff)! I need to start making a list of what I want to get. This is exciting. I hope every part from the last five years is made. Think of the people who will buy up anything in the old grays and brown. LEGO has found a cash cow. I knew it would only be a matter of time before something like this happened. Exciting!
  8. What exactly will we be able to buy? Any size brick in any color available or just selected few? Also, will minfigs come as they appear in the LEGO sets or are they just extra parts of minifigs? Details man we want details! :oD Spill everything you have heard! :oD Spill it! :oD SPILL IT!!! :oD :oD :oD :oD :oD :oD :oD :oD
  9. What are the standard titles you get from posting. I know it starts with Newbie but what are the rest and at what number of posts does it take to get there. I am a Respected Member now. I was an Advanced Member before this. If I don't get a title what is the highest title I can achieve?
  10. If you are bold go to LEGOLAND yourself. If you don't like everyone looking at you funny bring a relatives child or go in a group. Oh, yeah, welcome to Eurobricks!
  11. Hello, Lost Viking! You will find that Ed is not the only castle fan around here. Norro and myself are also castleheads and I have my armies standing by to crush you if need arises. Few there are that can stand to my forces. I shall unleash the turtle upon you if you don't behave! ;)
  12. Mostly, for everyone who knows about it to answer. I sent everyone registered through page 13 (I think) that has posted at least 15 times a PM to please take the survey. There are 40 some pages so I will try to send more PMs this week and then finish them next week. I still haven't heard anyone say they put a link or the survey itself on BZP. An EB member who posts there could do that. Really, I think EB is by far the most receptive and helpful which is a proof of the unity and respect people get here at EB. Even my simple idea has proved to be helpful and useful. It may help LEGO, it helps us know more about what we would like to see, and it has increased the number of members here at EB. The goal of 100 seems very acheivable. So I now move it to 200. With 26 more days it will take 5 people a day. Between five sites that is only one per day for each site. Difficult at the current rate but very possible.
  13. Well, as of right now there are 65 survey participants. None of the admins on any of the forums was willing to "push" this but most "allowed" it and in the case of Eurobricks helped by making it a sticky (thanks EB!). I myself have been in and out of town and will continue to be through this week. I will have to make July 17-23 my big push week. Can everyone who placed a link somewhere else please nicely bump them during that week. I will do my best to push here, Lugnet, and CC. I will also see if my brickshelf trick will work. Thank you everyone who is helping out.
  14. VCVC was an annoying spammer, okay. He stole others work for himself, unacceptable. He refused to listen to the rules, what probably got him banned. He lied continuously about nearly everything, a sad thing. I have no doubt that VCVC has a poor family life and that his strong desire for attention came from the lack of positive attention from his family and friends (if he is able to keep any with his lying and disrespect). If he lived near me I would invite him to come share dinner with my wife and myself and I would try to explain and help him. Though, I doubt he would listen. Please understand that I don't think there is any place for such behavior in this or any forum but I still think VCVC just needs a good friend to help him be better. If you read this VCVC please consider finding a good friend in real life, someone with morals and a positive future, and spend time with them. I am sorry if I was harsh in the city thread. You were given multiple chances to change and chose to be a reprobate so no you don't deserve to be here at Eurobricks. Please, try to think about others and treat them as you want to be treated. To everyone else, remember that we all make mistakes especially when we are/were teens. Treat others with respect and try to be a friend. All of us have faults and some more obvious than others.
  15. Plo Koon is my favorite and you made him look great. I really like that you left him in yellow. It looks appropriate I think.
  16. They are dark red like all of the shadow knights. The only difference the head (Johnny Thunder) and helmet (traditional flair). It was a toy included with a meal at LEGOLAND in either Germany or Billund. The catapult was packaged with a LEGO Easter basket in the US but as I said earlier it is now available at Walmart for 0.97. There are obviously more polybag sets because of the space in the numbers of them 5994-5998. Which means that 5995-5997 are not accounted for. I wish I would have checked the racer sets to see if these set numbers are used or if I should hope for three more castle polybags. Time will soon tell. If anyone goes to Walmart soon please let me know what the set numbers for the little racers.
  17. As much as people might like that I would say no. That has at least 700-1000 pieces. My thought is that LEGO will be making these as minifig scale sets with the standard .10 per piece price point. I like bigger sets but I prefer the $1-50 sets more. I would like to see the slave 1 with bounty hunters as a $25 set. That one would be like $60 *wacko* .

You are too late he got banned again. There should be no room for repeatedly disobeying the rules. It was better that Jipay stopped him before he spammed another 200+ messages.

Do you wonder why you got banned? Leave now and never come back! Leave now and never come back! Eurobricks wants to be free!
  20. This set found here is currently at Walmart for $0.97. It is on a plastic strip and has the 4 of this set and 8 race cars it two different styles. I picked up 16 and I must say with 27 pieces per set the 432 total parts for only $16 is a great deal. Not only is this great but it gives me hope that this also may also be available for purchase in the future. I would gladly get many many of these for $0.97 a bag. A side note Target has many sets at 30% of right now. Kmart has some sets at up to 60% with an additional 10% off and it is rumored that walmart has SW sets on clearance though not all of them as it is the managers decision as to what is marked down. Happy bargain hunting! Remember if you pay full price you pay too much, unless it is a ridiculously cheap $0.97 set with 27 parts! ;)
  21. I think most people mean the dinos not the sets. But if they mean the sets *wacko* your right, funny! :-D
  22. I assume that it's not possible to say positive things about this website without talking down other websites...? :/ I think he said all that in reaction to something or someone on the FBTB site. I don't think anyone here would say that FBTB is full of immature mean people. It is said though that a few bad apples spoil the bunch. I know many people who post to FBTB and they are good people. It is known though that some are not-so-good. Take it to mean that as far as Languages is concerned Eurobricks is better than the other forums out their. This includes any that he did not mention. I must say that EB is quite a site. Not perfect but it is fun and friendly with many good people and the most current and up-to-date news about LEGO. Well done admins, mods, and fellow members!
  23. If peoples answers are consistant to a good degree then if lets say 35% of people surveyed asked for minifigure sets and 40% want more legends sets then I could include that in a pie chart. It will entirely depend on data amounts and time. Reality is that if I can't make time to include charts or graphs then I won't. The answers are more important than a chart, though, it is nice to see something visually also. I am giving myself 14 days to compile the data and make it look the best I can. If life gets hectic I will make sure all answers are included and nice looking but some of the polish and glitter will remain undone. All of this is subjective and can be based on what answers are given. Right now there are millions of possibilities. The closer to August 1st the better answer I can give about what may or may not be able to fit in graphs/charts.
  24. Happy birthday! *sing* Happy birthday! *sing*
  25. Excel has something Word doesn't. That is it can have multiple pages of info in just one file. I haven't solidified the format yet but I am thinking of doing something like this where answers have a page and then have a Overview page with possible graphs. It will depend on the number of responses as well as how lengthy each response is. I really want this to not only look sharp but to have it easy to read and be useful. I am fairly handy with excel and i think it superior to Word in every way but lengthy word processing. Two options are before me. Each person would then have their own page with their own answers. The other option I am looking at is using one page for each of the questions and then listing everyones answers to that question on that page keeping lets say all of Phes' answers on line 6 for each page. The second option is looking like it will be the most helpful as if LEGO wants to look at the data on peoples ages for the survey it will all be on one page. If they want to see how people are let down that would be all together so it make more sense. Formating isn't my biggest worry. I will try to retain any formating (minus color) but it is the answer that means something and must be recorded with integrity. I will format the entire file with a standard set of colors and styles to look nice. I think if we take this seriously and present it professionally then LEGO will have to consider it as valuable research and as far as they are concerned "free" research. I really am doing this not so much because I am a LEGO fanatic it is just that I believe in this product and what it stands for. I really want to see great things from LEGO in the future and I will not continue to sit idly by and make negative remarks about the latest juniorization or weak set design. I think some people really enjoy not only being negative but helping others have a bad attitude as well. I want to thank everyone again for helping with this survey. I truely hope LEGO will make us happy and provide the most excellent toy in terms of quality, innovation, and value. The LEGO revival!
