  1. I voted 1. I know JarJar was annoying *sick* and the whole little Ani/Mom/Watto bit was silly *wacko* but Maul is one of the coolest bad guys around. *twisted* He was killed as a cheap way to make Obi look good. :| Even with that the fight scenes are awesome. That and QuiGonJinn is my favorite Jedi. *wub* Plus I like the whole "chosen one" prophecy stuff. :oo Episode 1 has a great story with awesome battles and some dorky stuff added as filler. :-D Episode 2 has to be my least favorite. It has JarJar *sick* , whiney Ani *sing* and Dooku is a lightning throwing sissy like Sidious. :/ Cool bad guys force throw stuff and then chop your hand off (I know Dooku does both but if Ani is really so "all powerful" Dooku would not have been able to take his arm off.) :'( Dan |-D

  3. >-| Calm?, I have always been calm. :$ I just really like the little faces. They help me to express my emotion even though if I was speaking with you in person you might not be able to tell. Firstly, thanks |-D , I will be in Germany for the last 11 days in May. I come back to the US on the 30th. So, in a sense I will be all over the country. I have tenative plans for Munich, Berlin, Hamburg, Oldenburg, and Nurnberg. Though I may make other stops as well. I really only want to visit the "best" spot for PaB. I am really looking for parts I am not able to get here in the US. I was at LLC back in 2003 so I don't have much interest in seeing the park in Germany all that much. I have never been to Germany and I think I will have a great time. LEGO is just a hobby for me though so if I don't get an opportunity to stop and get some LEGO I will be fine. *sick* Maybe. You say that LEGOLAND had the best PaB though so I will look at making a stop there. I emailed them to see if they had the store up front so I wouldn't have to get a ticket but the reply I got is that you have to buy a ticket but if you leave in under 45 minutes you are refunded. How does PaB work in Germany? We have a set price for different sized plastic cups. What is the tax like? Is there anything else I should know about it. Thanks again Apo. You admins run a fun site and your friendliness makes Eurobricks a great place to be. -Dan
  4. :( Anybody? Anybody? *sing* SuvieD :(
  5. I am looking to buy some different parts than what I currently have. I will be on vacation in Germany the later half of this May. Does anyone here know where I can find stores that have PaB in them. I am not looking for basic bricks or plates as I have a different PaB I can go to for that. I am looking for more unique parts. :') I know that there is a PaB in LEGOLAND but is that worth a visit or is it just like all the others in the retail brand LEGO stores? I would really appreciate some pictures of what parts are available. Thank you any one for information, SuvieD
  6. I was drooling over the large ship since it was released. Last month I finally got one when I found them BOGO 50% off. It only cost me $60 so for an extra $10-20 you could buy a bulk tub and fill it out nicely. I combined the two into a very large beauty of a ship. I will, when I have some time, make it into a proper vessel though. Pros The ship itself is very large. :) If built according to the instructions it is supposed to float! :oo It has new mast parts and some other newly molded parts (at least 10). It can be made into a very large and grand looking ship with some decent modifing. Cons The hull is not extremely sturdy (required to float). :( It only comes with four pirates, one of which is an enemy walking the plank. *twisted* The hull top doesn't have very many studs for connecting (only half covered). It should have come with some extra pirate gear and loot. I also got some of the small marketplace sets and the little black ship to bolster my pirate crew. I like all the little rarities and special parts. Bottom line. If you like pirates pick up at least the large ship. It will work well in a MOC and some of the pieces are great. If you can find them for a cheap price, pick up some of the nicer sets. If you have a 3-8 year old buy them all the sets. A friends child was recently over to my house so i let him play test the ship for me. Even under his rough play the ship held together very well, he behaved excellently and I was able to repair the ship in just minutes. 4+ pirates is a winner if you are a fan or have small children (now or on the way).
  7. Check buy/sell/trade on Classic-Castle. The entire lot was for sale on Bricklink for something like $500-$750. :oo If you really want that many figs though wait for Bricks 4 U (Danmark) to have a decent sale. I am sure that is how this fellow got so many of the same figures. ;) I myself have gotten some in a similar way and for a lot less. *satis* -SuvieD
