  7. Try an external keyboard and you will know reasonably certain if it's hardware or software related. Ontopic: I agree that those Ulandian invaders need to be expelled! Kaliphlin needs a strong ruler but I'm not sure if that usurping lich is the right man for the job?
  8. Continuing the off topic: IBM just replaced my thinkpad's keyboard in the office, only took 5 minutes. But I'm afraid that replacement keyboards might cost more than a 2x2 tile per key...
  9. Yea, the one week cadence with guerilla builds is especially troublesome if you ask me, at least with the current power of those builds as it only takes one misplaced business trip or vacation to miss out on any chance to counter an attack.
  10. I agree that the current guerilla build system is overpowered and takes focus away from building for the warzones. I think the idea that "high profile" zones can only be won through by first declaring them as a warzone and then winning that war is a great idea. That would make each side equal in terms of building time and would also first require that a foothold is gained next to the "high profile zone" before it can be attacked. Btw, can a warzone be only between two sides or can all three sides always build in a warzone? Feels a bit weird if there are requirements for where a warzone can be declared (adjacent territory) but that the third side could participate in the battle anyway, or am I missing something here.

  15. Nice tower and landscaping! And thanks for reminding us in the middle of the conflict in the South that the far north has it's own pressing dangers.

Just wanted to compliment Ska for the great work put into this challenge, it has kicked off a level of activity in GoH which I don't think I've seen since I started here with the exceptions of the day before some multi-category challenge deadline. I almost hope that the challenge doesn't end after only 3 months, it would be fun if the wargame continued for a bit longer (but maybe with slightly more time per build)

  18. Unexpected build for sure Nice with the video as well. Not sure however what to think of this in terms of the wargame...if a builder spreads out elements of the build on more than 32x32 like here, I think the counter must be allowed to include as much base as the periphery of this build?

  23. Shouldn't each build have their own thread in general? But I would recommend that a link to the build being countered is included in the first post of the counter's thread, and probably also post the counter in the guerrilla build's thread.
