  1. Finally ordered a copy of Orthanc as well, but I'm still waiting and keeping my eyes out for some great Amazon sale on the other new LotR sets...
  2. That color palette is just stunning! I love how the dark red/light bley mixes, it gives me some ideas...
  3. Well built destruction! That resistance doesn't look very successful...
  4. You are quickly establishing yourself as the top dwarven builder of GoH I think! The mix of light/dark bley and nice square details really works so well
  5. If I had my say, the next big medieval set would be something like a CC house, perhaps with its back against a detailed city wall. Considering the age target group of the present castle line, that is sadly not very likely
  6. Agree, that minifig pose is really good! I hope you are not referring to the missing section of the leg assembly?
  7. Nice micro build overall, and especially the cliffs and water with those nice small boats
  8. Wonderful beast, I too would buy that instantaneously if it was a Lego set!
  9. I'll probably have to resort to BL for some Series 11 figs, I havn't heard anything about them coming all the way to Sweden. I think the sales of the previous series haven't been great here so there are rumors that they won't release S11 here at all... Anyway, at least the barbarian and a few others are must-have for me Are they available in stores in the UK by now btw? I'm going to Chester for work a few days in mid-September, might there be somewhere to find them there?
  10. Definitely a true Wonder of Historica! That waterfall is easily one of the best I've seen and those dwarven towers and halls are equally fantastic Great use of a limited footprint as usual. And thanks for sharing some of the secrets of building the water!
  11. Nice lighting on the fig at the lower level there! That floor technique is cool, shot at a steeper angle the gaps are somewhat too wide but when the camera is low it looks fantastic!
  12. Nice storytelling and minifig action! Looking forward to the continuation Everlast as part 4 sounds good DM, take your time to let it become what it should be!
  13. Lovely color palette and many nice details! Well done! One thing to mention though is that the white balance seems to be bit off (too orange), I suppose that the background is white in reality?
  14. So the Master Architect Challenge counted here?
  15. Why not both? It is a beautiful route through the archipelago if you take the ferry between Stockholm and Finland
  16. Good job! My dark age really started when I moved away to study... So you have some space for the bricks there then?
  17. If it hadn't been for other simultaneous projects it would have been better I think...especially when one of them was posted first and managed to snatch most people's attention I've got a build for Masa's quest almost done and will hopefully get some time to build for the Eastgate storyline as well but I don't have time to commit to this one, especially when someone else would be waiting for my build to continue the story...
  18. That looks awesome! Looking forward to sharp and high-res pictures of that! :)
  19. I don't know about how American LUGs operate, but ours is mostly online-based since we are spread out all over the country. But of course we get together for some events (like our annual exhibition local mini-meets and of course sorting the LUGBULK) but those are also arranged through the forum.
  20. I think you have to be 18.
  21. Are there no LUGs in your area active in that program?
  22. Wonderful build! This is really how those old forestmen sets should have looked
  23. No, I would never have afforded to buy all these parts off BL We got much of it through the LUG-bulk, but I'm not allowed to share specifics on the pricing (that's why I havn't made the high-res photo public either)... Sorry for bragging, I usually don't share these kind of photos but this was too crazy not to Too many "Avalonian pieces" unfortunately, I didn't know I was going to join Kaliphlin when this was ordered :(
  24. Most of them go into my LUG castle community build now (well, except for the window glasses and the headlight bricks) but thanks for the idea! I've also got an idea to build a riverside part of Barqa sometime and that will need some water as well
  25. Got some bricks which arrived recently for me and my wife out of its plastic bags now, excited to see what we (mostly I ) can do with this fallout I think for Kaliphlin building that I look most forward to more dark tan bricks and olive green plant leaves.
