  1. Marek, that is great C model somehow it impresses me more than original set Perhaps you should open a new topic for it ?
  2. I wanted to make it smaller, but to use technic brick 1 X 1 with hole in orange, but I do not have it. Thanks for compliment
  3. Thank you very much. I appreciate any kind of help for my mocs, so if anything could be better with my future mocs, do not hesitate; share your thoughts, opinions...
  4. Thanks, honestly I really miss those wheels and certainly current price is no help at all...and current 62.4 can be used on trailers to fit this scale... After short brake I'll go to next project - JCB Fastrac 4220. Kind regards
  5. Ladies and gentlemen, Here is final version of (my) Unimog U423. It is made in 1:15 scale. But before I upload images (of questionable quality), there are some members who deserve to be mentioned because they help me in the directly or indirectly (when they made public some solutions that I was working on like @Thirdwigg who made similar 3 way tipper), @jorgeopesi, @Pat-Ard, @jrx, @efferman...who all often discuss with me about possible solutions, and there is always good friend @Leonardo da Bricki. Except 3 way tipper there is rack and pinion steering (moved one stud to the right not to be in the way of drivetrain) which uses just two bevel gears to transmit rotation from HOG to gear rack and thanks to optimized weight works light-handed enough. But enough of talk, here are images: Whole gallery is here: https://bricksafe.com/pages/igor.ipsa/trucks/mercedes-benz/1to15unimogu423 Kind regards
  6. Sorry for bit off-topic, but I would like (better) this one from back to the future Curved panels could always be interesting. But what is more interesting dealing 2019 sets is if is there more info about other sets than 42094 and 42095?
  7. Why do you think that LEGO Unimog U400 (set 8110) has such position of battery box and motor? If you do not believe me please google for Unimog U400...and about water tank I suggest you to look Gods must be crazy II - it is just one example; what you you think is in Dakar trucks at the back - picnic basket? You should not pretend, but little imagination should not harm and LEGO is hobby of compromises Well there are always our polite admins And about that that fact how nobody can have a different opinions; I hear in my country (Croatia) such things from so-called Democrats, Anti-fascists or how ever they call them self in Media every day; anyone who have different opinions is a fascist...so I do not bother about it, look at this way - perhaps tread could pull more interests and more votes as contra-reaction... And about your approach - do not bother; number of your review followers and viewers tels true sorry
  8. No problem. Good luck on convention. I know it will be successful and M.A.N. will be a Star of show
  9. I agree in that...just a question. Anyway no one shall look to interior since cab is really beautiful
  10. Sorry for late offtopic reply; that is why some of us have pets as avatars IMHO the only interesting thing on 42070 Is the way rear chassis part is made stiffer using frame, the rest is perfectly described Actually I really like black chassis and to have battery box at rear is good (my mocs are often to heavy at the front) and expedition Jeep can have huge water tank or even huge fuel tank at the rear The only unusual solution is with worm gears, but with differential it would be ridiculously wide...
  11. It looks much better in real life, but just one question: aren't seats a bit to narrow for that scale? (Perhaps I have wrong perception because of known steering wheel issue) Edit: with age comes wisdom
  12. I agree with my good friend @jorgeopesi, but I really look forward to see model build from bricks.
  13. Honestly white and yellow looks better in real life than in virtual life. Based on color choices, It reminds me on my first LEGO set Now you know how long LEGO is my hobby
  14. It looks nice and clean
  15. @brickless_kiwi Indeed hook loader trucks can be versatile (and interesting)
  16. Box is very interesting detail. This little moc suits Zetros perfect
  17. You're right it is ToiToi (white with blue top)... anyway it is useful when (sh)it happens.
  18. I see them every day at the road side, and even on graveyards...I think there is manufacturer called TUI or something (I'm not thinking on one older German traveling agency)
  19. Looks very good, but perhaps you can use this one
  20. It works smooth Looking forward to see it completed. Now I understand why you will use yellow mudguards
  21. or it would be better for sliding and faster in corners
