  1. I suggest you to try to implement frame 5 X 7 to make it simpler and sturdier
  2. Distance from front axle to first rear axle on real truck us 3200mm (here) and with scale you use (1:16.5) distance should be 24-25 studs, but it depends which version you decide to make. I hope that this brochure helps
  3. Looks relatively simple, but have to use springs and to took shocks apart...but could be useful
  4. Honestly I find that this model could be perfect official set to allow us to get tractor wheels for smallest (possible) set price because it is not including Volvo bucket. It has all main functions for such vehicles (if we ignore drivetrain)
  5. Thus small arches would be great for your models, or you should make this one
  6. Probably at the beginning of next year, there will be a bit lower price than now because tires are in 3 sets (London bus, Ferguson tractor and Vette)
  7. Interesting moc, could be official (transformers-like) set. I suggest you to buy 42093 and use wheels 43.2 X 14 tires
  8. I'm pleasantly surprised how rear wheels work. I have to admit you made extraordinary replica even without adequate parts. (Sorry for late response, but due to obligations I could not watch video earlier)
  9. This "I'll keep them in mind for later" is very familiar to me
  10. It is OK, a bit off-topic; tractors had modern diesel engines decades before commercial propaganda with cars, and one thing why Fastrac (and few other systems tractors) are on my to-do list is full suspension. Rack and pinion is more precisely (that is why after 2 years of experimenting I have implemented it again on my Unimog), but can not be used when you need more steering modes...which btw are also used in telehandler, backhoe loaders ... Xerion steering is great, but not usable on suspended axles...
  11. I'm afraid it does not have inner teeth, but has axle hole in the middle like existing sprocket wheel
  12. No, but about making realistic width About your Xerion - I believe will be a monster; my Fastrac with CLASS tires seems to big (and it is in process of reconstruction - steering issue)
  13. Exactly, it is freedom if choice. Off course it is my point of view and no one has to follow my philosophy, but IMHO to see wider tractors it is as it run away from show like "pimp my tractor" or something similar Your moc was on my mind during my previous post
  14. But wide tractors simply look to unrealistic
  15. The major problem with tractors is the fact that even CLAAS tires make proper tractor to wide...or you need to make tractors (and other agriculture and forestry machinery) with existing tire in size between 1:13.5 - 1:15 ?
  16. It looks so, I don't think there is a space for shock absorber
  17. Actually tires are from London bus (43.2 X 14)
  18. It looks that you were inspired with this. Now I have read other info about YOC (this should be Your Own Creation ) and first image you posted there is really impressive
  19. Somehow I like hotrod more than Better (in this case)
  20. I must admit set is really cool. (even B-model is great). Suspension on tracked vehicle is really nice touch.
  21. There are tracked tractors with bug drive wheels at the back and smaller idler wheels at the front...so some Challenger like Trac is also possible as medium set...
  22. That is why i posted...it is for speculations tread
  23. with red or black sprockets and existing CLAAS tires - it is doable...and due to limited functionality of harvesters it could be using PF...it is for speculations tread
  24. Yes, black would be great In that case we should open a new topic something g like Wish That Came True
  25. It looks a bit unusual from below
