  1. That was my first thought and it would be very nice if our presumption is correct. I was counting chain links on both 42065 and 42095 and got the same conclusion
  2. You can use tracks and sprocket wheels to make newer version of Challenger tractor It could be fun set, why not. To be certain in a two month (maximum) we will know correct size; from that blurry image it could be that rear sprocket wheels are the same size as on 42065 set, or they are actually bit bigger and front one are the same size like on 42065 set...
  3. You can always send PM and this way you will not post such question in public. It is that simple.
  4. or CAT...yellow is best visible in foggy conditions so logical choice is yellow
  5. yes let us dream, for mentioned LEGO would have to make new tractor tires and every new mold costs (very much). for Deere it would require lots of green parts and license which (if I'm not mistaken) LEGO does not have...part of me was wanting tractor tires on stunt racer; to be something like this
  6. and if LEGO makes smaller incarnation of Xerion I'll be happy...
  7. Tam-tam...we are waiting for Jim to appear... @Yonnix Just small suggestion - after 10 posts you ca use PM, so you can make simple 10th post and service would be available and you can send PM and not go to public with such demands...
  8. For CLAAS Harvester in Technic would need some new parts at least smaller tractor tire for rear (95mm) or Bigger spocket wheel if model should have front tracks... But it would be great. due to size it should be remote controlled...
  9. I thought that you have already tested it with your famous plastic box full of LEGO connectors and beams to simulate total truck weight My solution would probably be more conventional...one day
  10. They are to big for steered axle at this scale. Very often it takes tens of hours to make optimum front axle if it is suspended, driven and steered (and shocks go into the cab area). My question is how robust is such solution?
  11. That you use just springs and not complete Lego stock absorber assembly on front axle
  12. From latest chassis images it looks (to me) that you use shocks on front axle like on first versions of 8860 set (box image) ?
  13. And there are yellow "macaroni" pieces...hm like future pasta - plastic all over the place, but back to topic
  14. At least this is more interesting than what we know about 2019 sets so far. I know what you are up to...I'm waiting several months for some modified plates to make fuel tank... Chassis looks very sturdy
  15. Do not worry, perfect moc takes a lot of time...it is something that you can not force and do not pay attention to time otherwise you will end up in frustration. Just take time that is necessary.
  16. Is there something on Ninjago theme that could me useful for us Technic movers? Thanks
  17. I'm afraid nothing from this, just manually operated functions.
  18. Or just flimsy constriction...we will see
  19. It has unusual Caterpillars...or I'm out of date
  20. So it looks like this (only much cleaner)
  21. So I can join the party and wait for images to appear in my mailbox
  22. @allanp sometimes as you nicely pointed out 'kids toys' have very interesting and useful parts, and I agree with you on your statement
  23. Today I had a chance to talk to an old friend who works as car and truck parts salesman and he gave me following info: Car steering wheels are 340-380 mm Tractors (modern like JCB Fastrac or Syn-trac...) have 380-420 mm steering wheel Trucks (Daf, Mercedes, M.A.N. Scania, Volvo...mostly European trucks) have 570-600mm steering wheel. Info is from his official parts catalog. I hope that this post could be useful for someone in future. Sorry Michael if I have misused your topic for something what you already know
  24. This is not looking like real steering wheel but has 4 studs diameter ?
  25. It looks very very nice. My inspiration is like this one https://www.mascus.com.au/transportation/used-hook-lift-trucks/man-tgx26-480/1lg05r6u.html But it would probably have white cab because I have to buy 4 additional model team 68.8 X 24 wheels (some 50€) and that mean not enough money for purple cab
