  1. As long as it is not spreading of this
  2. It seems you were clairvoyant https://www.autoevolution.com/news/2020-land-rover-defender-pickup-truck-technically-possible-but-wont-happen-142529.html @Jim sorry but I had to quote images for comparison with article
  3. Perhaps this could help you a bit (I've build it in the meantime...but photos are not something special...) https://bricksafe.com/pages/igor.ipsa/cars/steering_idea
  4. Thanks for clearifying, since I remember that this solution is used on 8865 set. Perhaps you can post an image to help @howitzer; of course it is @howitzer's topic and topics "owner" has last word.
  5. Perhaps you can use old one and transfer drive to 12 or 16 tooth gear? For (a bit) closer steering point to outer sides is to use CV joints and to place wheel like on 42093 set...
  6. Good use of small panels on rear part of Challenger
  7. Since it has 3 cylinder transverse engine you can make proper engine and use old 24tooth (4L) differential, but without proper suspension at the front Boxy design could be pretty good replicated with LEGO
  8. I know, but thanks for reminding My idea is based on newer interpretation with classic look. I was planning to make front live axle, but steering shaft caused me a problem, so I decided to make independent suspension at the front. Still not sure if I'll make 5 door coupe or pickup. I wanted to make something like that (but I failed ) https://www.pinterest.com/pin/666955026048916855/?nic_v1=1bBQ9%2B6Yk%2BM39irO%2FhL2fLKvfVEx1SnJgehWX2FvJrdFl13kTJvAj89ANy7PFrSxjC
  9. It is a great car, great base for muscle car and a great challenge Good luck
  10. Mine are in the way...but I'll use them in motorized MOC. I hope that you'll start building in real bricks very soon; I'm a bit curious to see how it looks in real bricks (or beams, panels...)
  11. As you can see in my topic I'm still not a biggest fan of that axle based engines...but you could make something original W8 instead of 2 parallel V8s?
  12. Ladies and gentleman, After several days trying to make front independent suspension to fit 15 studs overall width, I have decided to join the contest mainly for fun. As my good friend @nicjasnoknows it has been a while since I have made cars, so you can see here my attempt of making classic 1930s Hotrod (usually they are based on Ford model A). Let Images speak for themselves...
  13. And yes I have few unusual idea with tires...
  14. I'm trying to make live front axle and if I succeed then I'll see how to squeeze engine and then I could enter the content...problem us that front independent suspension takes to much space; it is ideal for 17 studs wide car... In your image that could be used as pendular front axle
  15. I like simple version with 5 x 7 frame; actually that is something I planned for my hotrod...only all is light bluish gray and white (there will probably be white bodywork if I manage to make proper front axle) Looking forward to see your version mate.
  16. Mercedes Benz didn't make it; it was model called City (with 160Hp) made by small tuning company Schulz-Tuning...
  17. Honestly @sirslayer I do not think that where you live you have particular need for windshield wipers This time I agree with @Jurss
  18. Honestly I remember w201 or DB190 as u breakable 4 door saloon but it is a nice start
  19. I know, that is why I'm in phase of testing what kind of suspension I can make not to exceed 15 studs limit...and if I manage that, then only small engine could be Implemented... My initial plan was pickup hotrod but to make it correct it had to be 17 studs wide...
  20. Like 8880 mini version that is inspired by Bug... Very original
  21. You can use this tire on Mustang rim (43.2 x 22) And IMHO it would look great
