  1. So basically it could be covered with dish 6 x 6 to give classis hub caps?
  2. Only if solution for suspension similar to 8860 set will be implemented
  3. To shrink fake engine you can use thin liftarms...but I welcome choosing proper Lego fake engine
  4. Yes it looks like Unimog ball joint for torque tube suspension.
  5. If my memory serves me there is a separate topic for every 2h set, so perhaps you could close this topic for further replies?
  6. I was thinking that this part could be useful (Not actual metal springs) But as you said there is a solution, but we did not find it jet
  7. It looks so in this image (11 x 15 frame) That is true
  8. But it does not look like steering wheel...more like a wheel for WW1 biplane...
  9. White looks better, but if you use boxer or flat 6 mini engine (with axles instead of technic pistons) you'll need springs to make engine "work" (if you do not want to loose piston or two or...) @Seasider is a car expert, so I want to ask one thing (if my memory is not lost); 959 had air cooled engine block and (valve) heads cooled with oil?
  10. Like this The only thing that looks a bit disproportional is steering wheel (to big IMHO)
  11. And you have "boxy" models like 288GTO or 308/328GTB...but you will decide which is doable.
  12. I have similar idea about buying new sets, so my dilemma about Control+ elements is beaten by Covid-19 On mobile phone I was not sure about rear That sounds plausible
  13. If Jim didn't pull this content I would have made one classic during summer with those wheels, but several things emerged (and not positive ones) And it could be something new, but now it is possible that someone surprise me with the same idea
  14. It is tempting me, but after Covid-19 pandemic I expect financial crises worse than in 2008 (I see only China recovering fast) So your term at some point is meaningful
  15. It reminds me on BMW Z4 (e85) engine...
  16. I think they fit, since Mustang rims are (based on bricklink) 30 x 20mm
  17. So I suppose it would belong to Concrete, Baldy & Co
  18. I like this Mustang rims more and more...
  19. I think it is a bit bigger but IMHO nicest set this year (and I'm not mad about LEGO cars) It could be 56mm at the front and 68.7 (from batmobile) at the rear? As @Seasider said (once upon a time) Dom's Charger is the only choice for black classic F&F car
  20. It looks like you are making bigger version of this. At this size, it could be cool MOC
  21. @Seasider, i had lots of braked project with samo problem - crucial parts of design (and function) could not be replicated with LEGO. No worries, first priority is to be patient and disciplined untill this Covid-19 hysteria is over. Since I have obligations to my family members that are not on one place I have much less free time than I expected (there is a work from home and on my laptop I have primary disk failure and my wife's can not be used...so mobile phone is all I got ). Since you are in car industry (I would only be capable of mechanic job on cars 50 or more years old ) you will know when cicrumstances are right for Austin. Kind regards
  22. That is very original idea for concept Kind regards
  23. This looks great IMHO; specially for crane trucks or something like that
