  1. First of all great review as always @Jim. Set looks very compact, but what I do not like about control+ is (as you mentioned) how to control model without smart device, what will be in 5 years with this app, no compatibility with PF elements and for my MOCs Control+ motors are to long; instead of 6 or 7 studs as PF motors they are 8 studs long
  2. Well I'm old-fashioned You're welcome Micha
  3. Similar principle to this Used in this perfect car It has similar principle of work...
  4. Very interesting concept It looks like you were impressed by Dubonnet suspension system...
  5. A bit different thing which prove that our hobby is nr.1 https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2020/03/03/lego-is-the-worlds-most-reputable-company-disney-follows.html
  6. It is difficult to be realistic about level of difficulty, but IMHO 8. I was planning long ago to build Countach but every time something else went as priority. White is also cool. Currently I'm in machinery mocing but who knows what happens since I have less and less time for LEGO. From whole 2020 lineup it is hard for me to say my favorite and Control+ is not on my wish list... So probably I'm most excited about F&F car
  7. Every time I see red gear I was hoping for news about set and not about someone's age and it is March already
  8. this one looks better that LEGO version in Mack, but I'm still not convinced about such fake engines, perhaps I'll decide one day to make small MOC and i implement it, who knows.
  9. I said that I'm more fan of classic design and charger (if made 1970s model will be made in LEGO) is my favorite and not Lambo. New design with sharp edges are not my favorite, but it is up to everyone do have hi / her own taste; after-all beauty is in the eye of beholder
  10. Just small thing that I hope wil conclude age discussion - noone is to old for LEGO as you can see here (so let's continue on 2020 sets)
  11. this futuristic "space age" shape is not my cup of tea, but I was hoping for big yellow rims (not gold)...
  12. I have 10 candler more...so age does not matter (I hope )
  13. Few years ago I saw that air suspension solution on rear driven tandem truck axle, so it is nice that you implement it.
  14. Yes as I quoted @Maaboo35 with sarcasm of course.
  15. I prefer also XL motor, but you should gear it down at least with gear combination 12-20 and place motors for drive longitudinally in chassis to prevent gear clicking or even braking. The only disadvantage of XL motor is that it is "fat"
  16. Very nice, but as a tractor builder, Xylon has different size tires but it looks nice...I like Herder; it could be perfect fit to my Fastrac.
  17. Agree with that; but I saw various MOCs with various motor configuration...so basically model with up to 1800 parts and big tires has to be powered with XL motor; one L motor would (probably) be to week. Perhaps it would be a good idea to make a kind of overview for @robin_1456 so (I suppose) he could decide what motor to use in his creations; if course it is not the same if MOC is using indoors, has towing functionality etc...
  18. Requirements list or some directions how heavy model should be "example" for propulsion for which motor would be fine; there is also a question of tire size etc...but generally this is most plausible answer but there is one more thing - budget. Regards
  19. It will be new model, but I'm a bit traditionalistic oriented; of course shaped that I prefer are not possible with Lego parts, but that is another story so let's stick to what we know for 2020 year sets.
  20. Here is my favorite https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/29779142-lego-technic-build-instructions ...but 2020 will definitely be new model and (unfortunately) not legendary Miura or Countach
