  1. Congratulations JopieK and good luck!
  2. Great representation of such an iconic building. I love the pig in the last image and coincidently I was listening to Animals on the drive home tonight.
  3. "So you build something, then take pictures of it and post them on the web. Then you take it to pieces and build something else. Where's the fun in that?" If you have to ask then I can't explain it
  4. Welcome to Eurobricks! I'm sure you'll find plenty of things in the forums to entertain and inspire you!
  5. I managed the get a screen-capture before they deleted it. Apparently, Lego bricks can be made at home from tap water, corn starch and some food coloring. Although, on a completely unrelated topic does anyone know hoe to remove colored corn starch from the ceiling?
  6. "But aren't Megabloks the same thing? They're cheaper".
  7. That UCS Delorean is superb! Well executed with brilliant detailing...
  8. That's a great looking interior. The fireplace and mantle are well done, as are the bannisters. And that Red Leather chair looks comfy! I thing the color is right for a Victorian House and I wouldn't change it.
  9. Welcome to Eurobricks - those are some great looking vehicles.
  10. I love it! I really like the barrel spilling its contents into the water and (as usual) your MOC is stuffed full of interesting vegetation. The ruined bridge looks like it's decaying slowly - and I like how you've got the vines threading through the balustrades. Really nicely done and I can't wait to see what you come up with next.
  11. I'll take the T1 also! I really like how you've done that front windscreen - that's a nice technique.
  12. Excellent! There's so much to enjoy in these creations. I think the Train Station is fantastic and you're right about those cast Iron arches supporting the canopy - it looks perfect. Actually I think my favorite thing is the Amsterdam Tram.
  13. Welcome to Eurobricks! I think you'll find plenty to inspire you in the forums!
  14. If neither methods work (and fingers crossed I hope them do) I think you'll find that Lego Customer Service are very understanding and are (in my experience at least) very pleasant to deal with. Good luck.
  15. Welcome to Eurobricks! You'll find it's a very creative place.
  16. I'm not familiar with the movie, but that is one impressive train. The smoke effect is particularly well done. Thanks for sharing it with us!
  17. I think the silence is ominous. It's time to inform the authorities...
  18. Welcome to Eurobricks! I think you'll find plenty of MOCs to inspire you in the forums.
  19. Thanks LLL. That also got me thinking of security bars on the check in desk. And it's kinda morphing into the 'Hotel' that Elwood Blues lived in. I've got plenty of old discolored bricks to make beds/furniture of out.
  20. It took me a second or two to realize how you did the sides. They look really effective and I like the overall design. I think a string of these being pulled behind a suitably industrial engine would look impressive. Thanks for sharing it with us!
  21. My next MOC is going to be of a Modular 32-wide modern day Soup Kitchen. I've got the outside fairly well mapped out - a two story Commercial Warehouse-y type building in Dark Grey and Reddish Brown, and the for the interior I'm thinking Kitchen area, Dining room with bench seating, Bathrooms and up stairs some small seedy Hotel. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what else I might include? Thanks!
  22. Bricklink is a fantastic site - sure it looks like it was written for Windows/98 but it's unbeatable for individual bricks.
  23. Ok, I admit it. I did LOL at that one....
  24. Really good review. Very informative. As for the Cargo plane; I like the way it looks, but I think you're points are valid about playability.
  25. What a great looking building! You had a good base to start from with the HH, but what you've done beyond that is really nicely done. I particularly like the greebling at the roof/wall intersection and the verandah. I can't wait to see the interior images!
