Hi, Thanks, it is the same as the 42039 just all the green has been changed to orange. The only parts that weren't available in orange were the 64681 + 64393 Long smooth panels and the 42003 Axle and pin connector with 2 holes. I have to change those with something else. Everything else was available in orange. Plus it came with a fake V8.

Just thought I would share with you some of the builds I have done over the holidays. The 42039 24H Racecar which I recolored and since I am a Mazda rotary fan I added a 4 Rotor PP engine: The 42048 Go Kart recolored and added a spoiler: Just finished the 42065 Tracked Racer B model, was saving up to buy it then realized I already had all the parts to build it, saved me $150NZ. Powered by a single turbo Madza Rotary 20B and has a rear spoiler and recoloured it in orange and dark grey. Efferman's RC Claas Xerion. Just need to do a tip trailer for it now. Big thanks to Efferman for his mod. This is a FXT Class Racing Mower. I used Eraman's ride on as the base chassis and then did the rest. Big thanks to Eraman. MK's Anti Tank Gun. This thing is cool and fires up to 4-5 metres. Big thanks to MK. Kevin Moo's RC Custom Forklift. I have recolored this into a Hyster, since I use Hyster's daily. I made some changes mainly to the cab area. Big thanks to Kevin Moo. Lasse D's Man Cement Mixer. This one is awesome. I changed the drive system and added another receiver to the other side so now the bowl keeps spinning while it has stopped, put it on a speed controller aswell. Big thanks to Lasse for his design. 42053 Volvo EW160E. I changed it to a normal bucket and added a small ram. Also made a tip trailer for it and connected it to the old hand pump while the rest of it runs off the PF pump. More to come soon.

Does anyone know when the B model instructions for the 42065 RC Tracked racer will come onto the Lego website?.

Very nice, after watching the review of the b model, any chance you can try modding the steering on the b model truck?.

I am a noob to GBC's but this looks pretty cool, can they all be added together to make one long GBC?.

Thanks Jim for another amazing review, the only thing I don't like on this tractor is the silver x346 1x3 Tooth with axle hole on the bonnet, its way too big, I plan to change it with a silver 49668 1x1 tooth. Jim is there room to change the M motor for a L motor for abit more power for the PTO?. Can someone please clear up the situation with the exhaust, some 5000's have the exhaust on the front next to the bonnet and others are a little one next to the cab?. Someone has to do a black version:

I personally like this set even better now that I know it can have power functions with it, but can't understand why on a set like this Lego wouldn't bring back the black 3L friction pin?, luckily I have enough to replace them with. Definitely on my list for this year.

Here is a challenge for anyone to accept: , way out of my building experience but would be cool to see.

I thought that aswell, it was originally going to be a red crane, but it already had the yellow outriggers on it, so when I started building it in red it didn't look right so went back to the yellow to go with the outriggers, but it grew on me and I think it looks alright in yellow now, otherwise I would have done it in another color.

Finally finished, came out better than I expected. Recolored in white with black rear guards, r/c drive and steering and opening doors. Changed the front a little bit and added all of Han's mods. Han's mods worked better but I still had to get rid of the 2 clutch gears for the crane rams. Now to build Ingmar's Low Loader and dolly for it.

I was real keen for it aswell, till I watched Sariel's video, now not so much. I don't mind that it moves real slow, because the real BWE would aswell, but the fact about the lack of power the wheel has is what killed it for me, wont make it very playable. I was really impressed with the bottom conveyor staying in one place while the machine turns though. I am feeling that the b model will be better because it should be able to separate the 2 sizes of material, also with its design should be able to work with the Volvo L350F.

So far so good, it drives and steers , had to sacrifice the fake engine to put the drive motor, but had to do the same with the Arocs so I am ok with it. Takes a long time to build when you are recoloring and making little changes here and there to fit stuff in, getting there though.

They need to do a smaller version of this wheel for the front wheels of other tractors now. Cant wait for this set.

Thanks, I managed to download Hans mods thanks to a friend. I have spent a good part of today working on it and so far so good, have already put most of Hans mods in there, I have tested it all and seem to be working good, the outriggers are working better so that is a plus. The test will be when the crane goes on.

Hi, I am starting the rebuild of my 8258 Crane Truck, the first time I built it 2-3yrs ago, the outriggers and crane didn't work properly, the crane would struggle to open and the outriggers would struggle to come out, and the turntable would click, it was a disaster, so now I am going to rebuild it. anyway I was wondering if anyone had the pdf's from Han for his updates?., I am struggling to obtain them from his site, also if anyone had any other changes they made to it to make it better?. I am also changing the color and making it rc for steering and drive. Any help would be appreciated.

I have just finished building this, and I have to say it is awesome. I recolored it slightly and turned it into a Hidromek 220. Just wanted to know if any people that have built it, does the XL motor struggle to lift the arm?, mine struggles slightly and does the door catch when opening it?, seem to catch on the connector.

This screening plant will be cool if it isn't too big. Will be cool if the L350 Volvo will lift high enough to fit in into it, otherwise might have to build a ramp up to the hopper. A and B model gets a from me.

Hi, I don't know how to create a LDD or anything like that, I just make stuff out of my head, and alot of trial and error, assembly and disassembly. This is the video I used to make it r/c, its quite simple The major pieces you will need is a power functions servo motor, receiver and remote control and this gear http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=32498#T=S&O={} Hope this helps.JGW3000 The XL motor is just for the tipper. The truck is driven by the L motor that the truck comes with in place of the fake engine. It is slow but useable.

Finally finished modding my Arocs, made it full r/c thanks to Shine Yu's r/c mod, changed parts of the front to white, added an extra stud width to the guards, made a fuel tank with receiver in it and Adblue tank, battery box and air tanks on other side, made bin longer and changed rear lights and bumper. Pretty happy with the changes.
