  1. I thought I would put up some pictures of my 8264 Hauler. It has the RC function from NXTLiftBoy, aswell as a few little changes like the step, mirrors, exhaust, flashing light placement, aswell as the extension on the bin and solid rear axle. Please tell me what you think.
  2. Cool thanks, thats probably why I coundn't find any because they are in all of my sets. I have found another problem that I don't know if NXTLiftBoy had which was the front axles eventually winding themselves out of the hole so they don't drive.
  3. If you build version #5 can you use a variable remote on it instead of the 2 little remotes joined together?. Does it do all the same functions as the 2 little ones?.
  4. This piece threw me aswell, I have never seen it before. Can anyone tell me what sets it has been in. It is the thin 6 hole liftarm with the pins in it. I only have 5 hole and 7 hole liftarms.
  5. I have converted my hauler into RC now using NXTLiftBoy's design following his photos and I am very happy with it. I didn't use the washers (because I didn't have any that small) but it runs fine without them. The only thing I noticed is that it doesn't move quite as fast as NXTLiftBoy's, could this be low batteries?, or another problem?.
  6. Cool thanks, I will have to start soon. Because it steers with the wheels does anyone have any ideas on how to make the centre twist like the real ones and like hans 6x6 hauler still keeping the steering?.
  7. Cool thanks. I have never used paypal before so this will be an experience. I have just got an account, trying something small first before I go big.
  8. Hmm. It looks like only two have sold on TM in the past three years. I recommend Bricklink. Has anyone had anyhting sent from overseas off bricklink to NZ, just abit worried about sending money to germany and places like that, and reports, experiences?.
  9. I am not very knowledgeable about power functions but I have got the 8264 Hauler, and I was wondering if anyone on here had RC'd it so it could steer and turn with the power functions and controllers. I have seen Han 6x6 hauler but don't have most of the bits to make that. I have seen a few on youtube like this one: so was wondering if anyone had instructions to do this?.
  10. Hmm. It looks like only two have sold on TM in the past three years. I recommend Bricklink. Thanks so much VMLN8R you have made my day. I have been searching for ages and now I have found 1 for a good price. I had seen a few on ebay but they were $400+USD.
  11. Hi I am new on this forum but was directed to this thread since I am from NZ, hopefully someone can help. I am trying to find a 8288 Lego Technic crawler crane set . I would perfer new but used is ok as long as it has all the bits and is in reasonable condition, so if someone could help me that would be cool. i have been looking for about 1 year.

  15. Man I can't wait for this model. I have already got plans to put a big trailer on it. Does anyone know if this will be any bigger that the 8285 tow truck?. Looks like a similar style of truck.
  16. Hello. My name is Chris and I live in New Zealand. I work in a quarry and love machines which is why I am a big fan of Lego Technic and Lego City. I am looking forward to posting some photos of my lego for you all to see. I am also a big fan of logging so I can't wait for the new 9397 Logging truck so I can make some trailers for it. I don't have the experience that I have seen on these forums with motors and pneumatics but just love building them.
