This looks pretty fantastic!

This. Lego are doing a new thing, and it looks good. And you can make a CCBS MOC look just as detailed as some Bionicle MOC, if you have the right pieces. The more you have, the more you can build.

Ah ok, sorry about that. And I suspected as such, so thanks! My actual entry is currently under construction - there are some WIP shots in my Flickr gallery, actually. Thanks!

I was originally gonna enter this guy in the contest, but then I remembered that he has a modified chestplate on him... So that's not happening. And I was so confident that he'd please the judges too, darn it! So, this is actually a pretty oldish MOC, which I recently disassembled. It was originally intended to serve as a revamp of Fire Lord, but it kinda suits it's own character. Hope you all like him! xoxo A couple more photos of him are on my Flickr - click the Bull below!

Battle For The Golden Mask Competition: Discussion Thread

New feet for sure. New shapes of shells. Blockier ones maybe, or ones more inspired by muscle structure. Or maybe some that are more sleek than the current set. More integration of gears. New torso bones. The current four styles are great and all, but new shapes would be nice to see. Maybe something without shoulder joints, so as to be more accommodating to gearboxes?

Just in case nobody else has, I'm calling it that we're gonna get a Skull Spider as a polybag. It just seems so very polybag-worthy.

Don't mean to strike as too off-topic here, but I've been in communication with the lovely people at Bricklink, in regards to how the categorise CCBS parts - namely, the CCBS parts we'll see in Bionicle next year. This thread has more information.

On Ebay This Moment: "Makita" Terrida
Logan McOwen replied to InfurnallDragon's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
I would buy that. Good way to get the Makuta (as I already have his mask) and an Ignika. Still hilarious though! -
The Bohrok were robots. As were the Exo-Toa. And the Ussanui was purely mechanical. And the Vahki too. Oh, and let's not forget how nearly all living things were biomechanical - Y'know, mechanical with biological components. Basically bio-robots. The whole uniqueness of Bionicle is that we have these robot-looking characters and creatures in a tribal/fantasy setting. What's the big deal if this time around, they will actually be robotic in composure? They certainly won't act like it, will they? I thought it was the 5th?

Do we know if they've ever renamed something in the past?

So I've been using Bricklink quite often since I got my debit card a couple of months ago. I love it, it's a fantastic service! But I've noticed something about how they list parts in the CCBS. They title the parts' entries as "Hero Factory XYZ", much like Technic parts are titled as "Technic XYZ". Now while it makes sense that this is the case (Hero Factory was the first CCBS line), I feel that now, the CCBS is much more universal than just being "the Hero Factory system" - especially now Hero Factory is (as far as can be foreseen) dead and gone. So in that case... Shouldn't CCBS parts be listed as "CCBS XYZ" now? Well, I've contacted Bricklink through their helpdesk on this subject. Here's what I wrote: Do you guys agree with my sentiments? Or do you think I've gone overboard with my nerdiness?
