Fantastic little set.

Kopaka's design is probably my favourite of the toa. His body's silhouette is wonderful! The weapons are fantastic, as is his mask. I probably won't be buying him however, as I have quite enough gold and white parts in my CCBS collection :P
-
While his shaping is great, and the build is really impressive... What the hell is going on with his colours? Gold, alongside silver? What? If I do get Onua, I'm very tempted to swap the gold for silver. Even then, those big plates near his shoulders would look much better in black. Oh, and the hammer is... Odd. Who ever heard of a hammer with a rounded nose? It could've also used some corrugated tube pieces on the handle, as it looks very weedy.

Love Pohatu. That brown, the zany weapons, and the streamlined build... He looks very suited for speed! And while he doesn't have as many parts as his fellow Toa, he still stands tall with the rest of them.
-
Very striking colours, and fantastic weaponry! Not keen on those vines on his heels (kinda like toilet paper stuck to his shoes), but the rest is great! And that pose in the first photograph is awesome - why don't TLG do elbows like that more often?
-
Loving Lewa! Great shaping, lovely choices of armour, wonderful weapons, and a very unique mask. Oh, and apple green! Definitely on my shopping list.
-
I ain't impressed. The colours are nice, and the concept is interesting, but the delivery feels... Weird. He's basically a toy grabbing claw with a face. Won't be buying this one.
-
Gonna be the first to say this, but I really dig the weapons. They remind me of the whips the baddie in Iron Man 2 wields. The piddly arms are a let down, however.
-
Gorgeous. That's the word for Gali. Not a fan of the awkward "girly" head-tilting in your photos though :P
-
While the arm structure is disappointing, this guy makes up for that with sheer bulkiness. Check out those guns! He's a neat little set.
-
Tahu looks fantastic. Only minor complaint is how empty those lower legs feel at the back. Other than that, he looks ace.
-
This is possibly my least favourite of the Protectors. S/he feels very jumbled up - two trans blue colours? Yellow waterjets? Black and dark grey bones? I dunno man, it's not just the mask that feels out of place here.

Hey guys, so we all know that 2001 BIONICLE video game that got canned, right? Well, cutscenes from the game can be found on YouTube - most notably, with Onua washing up on the beach. Footage can also be found of the , and also the very last cutscene in the game. But I'm curious - just how was this footage obtained? Now I'm aware that the scene with Onua was released with the Nestle cereal promotional CD ROM, but where has the rest of the footage been found?Bonus:

To ask a stupid question: Who else has signed up for that notification E-Mail? :P

Ah, good point!

Why not patriarchy.gif? :y But yeah, the whole "Protectors can make babies!" thing might come off as a liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiittle too adult for a kid's toy. I think it's perspective.

That's great Leewan! Saw it this morning - those feet look nice, but I doubt they're very strong. Alright for a small model like this, however!
-
That's... Probably not the best idea... :P
-
UPDATE: I took some cleaner photographs of the model last night, which I've added to the OP. As a bonus, here are some closeups of the technical parts of the model!
-
The very same! Go ahead! It works wonders! Ok guys, I got some better photos shot. I'll replace those awful ones in the OP with the new ones now~ Edit: There they are! Oooooo, shiny!
-
Yeah, the original 'dunks did have a very empty lower jaw. I could fill in that jaw, but it'd require a lot of parts in that area, which would sadly make the jaw much heavier, and cause the mechanism to sag.
-
There's one of those funky parts with the two balls and two pins on his back - no idea what those are called I'm afraid :P The bone for the gun is the one with one Technic pin hole in it, and then that silver detail part is connected to the spare ball of the double-balled-thing via a black 3M shell.
-
Perhaps! :)

This is something I've had standing around for quite a while now - a CCBS-based re-imagining of Gadunka, complete with a gear driven jaw, and a mysterious pearl upon his tongue! I built this fella as a proof-of-concept rather than a full on MOC - I like to build my models as if they'd be something you'd see on store shelves - but I'm quite pleased with how his face looks! Anywho, enjoy!

So yeah, I was up at 5AM this morning for some ridiculous reason, so I decided to pass the two hours before I needed to get ready for work by fiddling with my CCBS parts. After fiddling with an XT4 torso for quite a while, I eventually cobbled together this little firey fellow, complete with a shoulder mounted shooter, transparent orange details, and exceptionally bulky armouring. Enjoy! Edit: Shiny new photos! Ooooo!
