Wow, this thread is a mess...
-
Nah. I just build.

It's supposed to be a piece of armour he removed from a Vorox!
-
Got CHI Laval yesterday. Kinda regret it, as the store had the Stealth Machine too, which has so much more useful things in it.

Vichrit, an outcast of the Ice Tribe. After a somewhat lackluster career fighting in Glatorian battles on the Ice Tribe's behalf, the village leaders fired him. However, this was his only source of income, so he slowly but surely stumbled into homelessness - alone, with nothing but his double ended blade weapon for company. However, when wandering the deserts, he found a new business to act on: Vorox slaying. Several smaller villages were freed of being robbed of supplies by the vicious beasts, as Vichrit took on the role of exterminating them, at a price. But his candid career seems to be turning into obsession...

How/when would you want Bionicle to return?
Logan McOwen replied to Logan McOwen's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Some interesting stuff so far. -
I've started using more Technic and custom builds in my Bionicle MOCs, and recently started making CCBS as well.
-
Hate to necro threads, but this is a lovely design. I like the use of tan!

How/when would you want Bionicle to return?
Logan McOwen replied to Logan McOwen's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Now THAT is fascinating! -
Okay, so I'm not exactly one of those 'BRING BACK BONKLES' people, but looking into a lot of Bionicle stuff lately got me thinking as to how it could return (not that it should or will). Now before I blather on about what I thought up, I'd like to hear what you guys think. So, theoretically, how would you like Bionicle to return? As toys again, or as a series of movies, or books? Also, when do you think would be a good time for a reinvention like that? A few years from now, or next Tuesday?

Damn 3rdeye, you're so disagreeable! Way to turn a thread full of decent speculation and excitement into your personal "I DON'T LIKE THIS AND IF YOU DO YOU SUCK" zone. You're not helping this discussion at all...

(Invasion From Below MOC) Stormer Scout Machine
Logan McOwen replied to Sir Brickalot's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Oh wow, nifty! -
I definitely prefer full sized figures set-wise, but the concept of the minifigs is still really fun.

Jaw Beast and Stormer's Crowd Control Machine
Logan McOwen replied to WARHEAD's topic in LEGO Action Figures
The hardsuit is hella nice. Very mechanical, very policey, but still very Hero Factory. Good work. The Beast? Speechless. Gorgeous work my man. -
BRAWN BEAST, MAGMA BEAST AND STEALTH BEAST (MOCs)
Logan McOwen replied to Logan McOwen's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Good job too! I've been seeing more and more of Evangelion on my Tumblr dash and it's really intriguing me.- 9 replies

Yeah. Hero Factory is literally about a robot who used robots to build a factory in which robots build robots who fight robots and sometimes drive robots. :3c

Don't mean to blow my own whistle, but I just designed some of my own beasts today in my flu-ridden state. Would like to have seen a wider variety of beast designs in the IFB toon tbh. Not even that. It's probably just a some sort of connection between the Hero and the Battle Machine... Y'know, like controlling a drone with your phone over Bluetooth.

BRAWN BEAST, MAGMA BEAST AND STEALTH BEAST (MOCs)
Logan McOwen posted a topic in LEGO Action Figures
Three new Beasts have come from the mineshaft to threaten Anthropolis... But they're not like anything the Hero Factory could even hope to expect... BRAWN BEAST A huge, hulking mass of techno-organic muscle, the Brawn Beast can lift the heaviest of structures, and squish the strongest of Heroes! MAGMA BEAST Short and stout, but still mighty, the Magma Beast's ability to superheat it's claws and body allow to melt through any Battle Machine! STEALTH BEAST An incredibly fast runner, the Stealth Beast has an unparalleled stamina... But sometimes it's speed can be it's shortcoming! More pics Battle pics- 9 replies

I've just realised... Once 2014's done with and we're all done MOCing things for the IFB theme... All the beast parts and Minifigs will be kinda redundant? I dunno, it just seems that the brains etc. from last year have gone that way for me, so I'm worried that my IFB parts will go the same way. That could just be me being a dumbo but eh

(semi-WIP) Invasion from Below MOC - Senator Beast
Logan McOwen replied to Shakar's topic in LEGO Action Figures
I personally think the staff should be something industrial/real world. Like Splitter Beast's street lamp, or Flyer Beast's radio mast. Perhaps the boom from a crane, or something like that? -
Stormer's Freeze Machine (Revamp)
Logan McOwen replied to Logan McOwen's topic in LEGO Action Figures
That is indeed a lil cannon for the mech... But it detaches so Stormy can use it as a gun. It's nothing cheeky v: Nah son. I used the first shortest bones to connect the armour at the chest, and the second shortest bone to connect the footrest. I got Splitter Beast yesterday, so I would like to have a go at remaking him. -
Review: 44021 Splitter Beast vs Furno and Evo
Logan McOwen replied to VBBN's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Have reserved this at Argos. Looking forward to getting up close and personal, and delving into those parts. VBBN has said that this is essentially the Beast builder's essentials kit, which drew me in. -
Stormer's Freeze Machine (Revamp)
Logan McOwen replied to Logan McOwen's topic in LEGO Action Figures
The Stormer helmet was more used for shaping if anything... If there was a version without the face, I'd use it :P And those short bones do exist in Bley, but I haven't got any... Thank you! I'm not usually keen on how they look as shoulder armour, but I felt it was necessary here. Looking at the pics, it seems I didn't post that orange shell as it usually is. Stormy's feet usually snuggle onto it quite well, but I've set it off a bit here. Sorry bout that! Thank you kindly! I shall be revealing the beast very soon... He has an extra colour now, which harks to a certain Anime beast/mecha~ Oh gosh, I haven't counted! Let me go do that... ...About 62 pieces! Would that make this plausible as a set?
